Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1961 - 290: Teasing 3

I believe that before dawn arrives tomorrow, everyone of some importance in Jinling will be aware of her relationship with Wang Yue.

Driven by rage for the sake of love, after this experience, Chu Mo was completely satisfied; whether they had a formal status or not didnʼt matter at all.

Even after leaving the hall and arriving at the resortʼs parking lot, Chu Mo was still immersed in that feeling of happiness.

Just before getting into the car, she mustered the courage to say to Wang Yue, ”Wang Yue, I donʼt want to go home tonight.”

”Where do you want to go then?” Wang Yue asked as if not knowing, since he always presented himself as a naive young boy in front of his two cousins, including Chu Mo.

”Silly cousin, what Mo Mo really wants is to be your bride tonight,” Su Jiaojiao blurted out, revealing Chu Moʼs true intentions.

Chu Moʼs face turned red; indeed, that was what she wanted. After all, Wang Yueʼs behavior earlier was so charming that it made her feel a surge of romantic feelings.

But admitting it in front of Wang Yue and her good sisters would be too embarrassing, so Chu Mo quickly said, ”No, I just want to spend more time with you. Just sitting and chatting will be enough.”

Su Jiaojiaoʼs eyes lit up. ”If thatʼs the case, letʼs find a place to drink. Itʼll be a great opportunity to celebrate your official relationship.”

Although this little girl was straightforward in nature, she was also quite clever. After observing her cousin and her motherʼs behavior, she had always wanted to try it herself, but never found the right opportunity.

If she spent the night drinking with Wang Yue and Chu Mo, they would surely do something after drinking, and maybe she could get a chance to join in too.

Su Xiuʼer said, ”I think thatʼs a good idea. What do you think, sister?”

”Okay, but ordinary alcohol wouldnʼt be any good. We need to find something special to drink,” Su Jinʼer agreed.

Their thoughts were similar. After Wang Yue publicly announced his relationship with Chu Mo, they were happy for their good sister, but when Chu Mo hinted that she wanted to spend the night with him, they felt a pang of jealousy.

It was only at that moment that they realized that they had already begun to have feelings for their cousin without even realizing it.

As Wang Yueʼs cousin and Chu Moʼs good friend, they werenʼt going to be jealous, but the thought of their cousin spending the night with Chu Mo still made them uncomfortable.

Now that Jiaojiao had made this suggestion, they naturally agreed to it.

Chu Mo was somewhat reluctant inside. She really wanted to be with Wang Yue, but as a young woman with a sensitive reputation, she didnʼt dare to object. She said with a disappointed look, ”Youʼve made the decision.”

”Thatʼs settled then. We donʼt need to look for alcohol; I have some high-purity ʼFairy Drunknessʼ here,” Wang Yue decided. ”As for the place, letʼs go to Mo Moʼs gym. In case we get drunk and act up, thereʼs plenty of space there.”

”Great! A big place is more fun. I want to perform a set of ʼDrunk Fistʼ moves!” Su Jiaojiao exclaimed, clapping her hands.

”Alright, then Iʼll inform the trainees and coaches that the gym will be closed tomorrow for half a day, so we wonʼt be seen in a drunken state,” Chu Mo said with a smile. ”But be careful, especially you, Wang Yue. Donʼt wreck my gym.”

With that, she turned on her communication device and sent a message to her work group: ”Due to the gym ownerʼs personal matters, the gym will be closed tomorrow.”

Wang Yue then said to Su Jinʼer, ”Sis, can I borrow your communication device? I need to tell my mom that I wonʼt be coming home tonight.”

”Why not use your own device?” Su Jinʼer asked, taking off her wrist communication device.

”Itʼs all because of this girl,” Wang Yue said, patting Su Jiaojiaoʼs head. ”She installed all those messy things on my device.”

”Is it that serious?” Su Jiaojiao was surprised. She had installed those things on Wang Yueʼs device, thinking she could simply uninstall them later, without considering the potential consequences.

”Of course itʼs serious,” Wang Yue said seriously. ”With those things, people no longer have any privacy. Even if you uninstall them, who can guarantee that the developer didnʼt leave any hidden dangers behind?”

”What should we do then?” The four girls realized the seriousness of the situation. If it were just one communication device affected, it wouldnʼt be a big deal; they could just replace it. But this threat was difficult to guard against; one careless mistake could lead to problems.

Even more ominously, what if the manufacturer had already planted such a hidden danger in the device?

Communication devices are like mobile phones from hundreds of years ago; people have become accustomed to their existence. Giving them up would make life very inconvenient.

”Tomorrow, I plan to go see Aunt Yan to see if she can help us,” Wang Yue said.

The Su sistersʼ eyes lit up. ”Right, with Aunt Yan, we donʼt have to worry about that.”

Su Jiaojiao even had a brilliant idea: ”How about asking Aunt Yan to develop an even more powerful software to counter such threats?”

”Weʼll talk about that with Aunt Yan tomorrow,” Wang Yue agreed, then took Su Jinierʼs communication device and went aside. His relationship with his mother was a bit unusual, and he didnʼt want anything inappropriate to be overheard.

After walking about ten meters away, Wang Yue used his chi to create a protective barrier around himself to ensure that no sounds would be transmitted, and then he called his motherʼs number.

”Jinʼer? Is there something you need from auntie?” The communication device connected quickly, and Su Mengyanʼs voice came through.

Wang Yue noticed that his motherʼs tone was different from before.

In the past, Su Mengyan would always speak in a detached manner, like a robot without any emotions, unless she was alone with Wang Yue and Xin Er.

But now, mistaking Wang Yue for Su Jin Er, she actually showed a hint of emotion in her voice—surprise, as well as a concern typical of a relative. Although it wasnʼt much, for Su Mengyan, this was a huge change.

Wang Yue was very happy about this. Although it made him feel good to be the only one who received his motherʼs warmth, it would be selfish to wish for her to always be like this.

His love for his mother wasnʼt just about possessing her; he wanted her to be happy and carefree. It would be wonderful if she could gradually return to her true self under his influence.

”Mom, itʼs me,” Wang Yue said.

”Yue Er? Why are you using your cousinʼs communicator?” Su Mengyan asked in surprise.

”Iʼm with my cousin right now,” Wang Yue replied. ”I just wanted to let you know that I wonʼt be coming home tonight.”

”Not coming home? Where are you going?” Su Mengyan asked. ”Can you sleep without being with your mom?”

”Probably not, but thatʼs okay; I donʼt plan to sleep either,” Wang Yue said honestly. ”Today, I made things clear with Chu Mo; Iʼll be with her tonight.”

”Who is Chu Mo?” Su Mengyan didnʼt pay much attention to what was happening outside, so she had never even heard of Chu Mo, one of the new generation of beauties known as the ”Twelve Beauties of Jinling.”

So Wang Yue explained who Chu Mo was and how he met her, emphasizing that Chen Xi was aware of their relationship and had given her permission to be with him.

Su Mengyan fell silent for a moment, then suddenly asked in a sad voice, ”Son, do you think you dislike me now?”

”Of course not. I will never do that in my life. In fact, I wish to be with you forever, never to be separated from you for a single moment,” Wang Yue quickly explained.

Then, on a lark, he added, ”But I really want to experience what itʼs like to be with someone else… Since you wonʼt let me be with you, I have no choice but to try with someone else.”

”Go ahead, then. Be with another woman, and donʼt come back!” Su Mengyan said angrily, then hung up the communicator.

Looking at the now-disconnected device, Wang Yue smiled instead of getting upset. His mother was angry for the first time; this meant that her true nature was starting to resurface, and that was a good thing.

As for her request for him not to come back, it was just an act of anger. Given how much she loved him, that anger would surely pass by tomorrow morning.
