Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1953 - 282: The Mistress of Xuan Nü Palace 3

However, this was no challenge for Wang Yue. With a slight exhale of his vital energy, he managed to break the door lock, and the door of the room opened immediately.

”Mo Mo, how are you? Weʼre here to save you!” As soon as the door opened, Su Xiu Er said to the person inside.

Chu Mo quickly appeared in front of the three of them. Looking at Wang Yue, she smiled and said, ”You finally came.”

”Huh? Mo Mo, why do you look like nothingʼs happened to you?” Su Xiu Er asked in surprise. In her mind, Chu Mo, who had been locked up for three days, should have looked exhausted and on the verge of collapse.

But apart from a slightly pale complexion, Chu Mo looked no different from usual.

Chu Mo laughed and said, ”Because I knew that Wang Yue would come to save me. Even if it wasnʼt possible for him to break into the Chu family, he would surely come to the Zhang family on my wedding day and rescue me.”

As she said this, she even showed a hint of anticipation.

Well, thereʼs no doubt about it – sheʼs a victim of those old-fashioned idol dramas. She actually thinks that itʼs romantic for the hero to suddenly appear at the heroineʼs wedding and rescue her from another man.

Wang Yue couldnʼt help but laugh and say, ”It seems we came a bit early.”

Chu Mo shook her head and said, ”No, at least now I can get out earlier and wonʼt have to be locked up here every day.”

Su Jiao Jiao then asked, ”Sister Chu Mo, what would you do if my cousin never came and didnʼt appear by your wedding day?”

”I would wait until the very last moment. If he doesnʼt come, it means I misjudged him. Then Iʼll just give the Zhang family a corpse,” Chu Mo said calmly.

Su Xiu Er was shocked and quickly said, ”Mo Mo, donʼt do anything stupid!”

But Wang Yue laughed and said, ”Sis, donʼt worry. Sheʼs not that silly; she must have already prepared a backup plan.”

”Xiu Er, after all these years as sisters, you still donʼt understand me as well as Wang Yue does,” Chu Mo also laughed, but then she became serious and added, ”However, if you really betray me, I canʼt guarantee that I wonʼt do something stupid.”

Wang Yue took Chu Moʼs hand and said seriously, ”Donʼt worry. I may not be able to be completely devoted to you, but I will never betray you in this life.”

”Mm,” Chu Mo nodded, a shy and happy blush appearing on her face.

”Wow! How romantic! Kiss them!” Su Jiao Jiao exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement, but she was quickly pulled away by Su Xiu Er and went downstairs, leaving Wang Yue and Chu Mo alone on the second floor.

Although Wang Yue and Chu Mo had gone on several dates before, and both of them wanted to take their relationship further, the closest thing they had ever done was to hold hands.

But today, Chu Mo was unusually bold. She kissed Wang Yue right at the door of her room.

Wang Yue had long wanted to taste Chu Moʼs tempting lips, but in front of Chu Mo and her two cousins, he had always played the role of a innocent young boy, so he never dared to take the initiative.

Now that Chu Mo offered it to him, he didnʼt hesitate. They began to kiss each other.

However, when it came to kissing skills, he couldnʼt use any of them; otherwise, he would have ruined his image.

Chu Mo, on the other hand, had no experience at all. As a result, they kissed for almost a minute, just sucking each otherʼs lips without touching their tongues.

But for Chu Mo, that was already enough to excite her. Soon, she was breathing rapidly, her heart beating faster, and her body becoming hot and weak; she could hardly stand anymore.

At that moment, Su Xiuʼerʼs voice, deliberately raised, came from below: ”Uncle Chu.”

Both Wang Yue and Chu Mo knew that Su Xiuʼer was reminding them that Chu Kuo had arrived. So, they reluctantly ended their kiss and walked down together.

In the living room, Chu Kuo was talking with the Su sisters. When he saw Chu Mo coming down with Wang Yue, he was surprised and asked, ”Why are you out here?”

”Just break the lock, and then I can come out,” Chu Mo said calmly, as if it were a trivial matter.

But Chu Kuo frowned deeply. Who else in this villa, besides himself, could possibly force open a door lock? Could there be experts from the three major families hiding somewhere?

If that were the case, things would get complicated.

Although he tended to support the Zhang family, he believed that the three major families of Jinling would not be able to overcome this crisis. However, before a winner was determined, he did not want to offend any of these families.

Initially, he thought that the conflict between Chu Mo and Wang Yue was just a childish quarrel that would not involve the families. But if the three major families sent experts above the level of ”Di Que Jing” to support Wang Yue, the situation would be completely different.

That meant the three major families had taken the Chu family into consideration and were now using the relationship between Wang Yue and Chu Mo to force him to choose a side.

Chu Kuo did not have great ambitions; he just wanted his family to gain a stable position in Jinling. That shouldnʼt have been difficult, as long as they stayed neutral.

But he had been foolish enough to want to form a marriage alliance with the Zhang family, and now he was in a difficult position.

Nevertheless, Chu Kuo was not without courage. Since the three major families were forcing him to choose a side, he decided to be straightforward and said, ”Wang Yue, could we talk alone in my study?”

”Of course, Uncle Chu,” Wang Yue agreed, giving Chu Mo a comforting look.

The two then went to the study. Since Chu Kuo did not live there, the study was merely for display, but it was very quiet – perfect for discussing confidential matters.

”Sit down,” Chu Kuo said, inviting Wang Yue to sit. He took out a pack of cigarettes and gestured towards them, but when Wang Yue shook his head, Chu Kuo lit one himself, took a deep drag, and then asked, ”Do you know that Mo Mo is engaged to the Zhang family?”

”I know,” Wang Yue nodded.

”If Iʼm not mistaken, you are also engaged to Chen Xi from the Chen family, right?” Chu Kuo asked knowingly.

”Thatʼs right,” Wang Yue nodded again.

Chu Kuo thought that by bringing up their engagements, he would make Wang Yue feel ashamed and thus gain the upper hand in the conversation. But to his surprise, Wang Yue was completely unshaken by this.

”Since you and Mo Mo are both engaged, why go through the trouble of having an ʼunofficialʼ relationship?” Chu Kuo, with no other choice, brought his own daughter into the discussion. ”Isnʼt that irresponsible towards your respective families?”

”Youʼre right, Uncle Chu. But you were once young yourself, and you should understand that once emotions arise, they are beyond our control,” Wang Yue said, looking somewhat guilty.
