Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1885 - 0214: Dealing with Problems 1

A total of nearly one thousand five hundred women were rescued this time – those who had been saved from the base, as well as those who were on the submarine.

Among these women, roughly half had their entire families killed by the pirates, while the other half were purchased by the pirates from human traffickers.

Deciding what to do with these women posed a significant challenge.

After all, those whose families had been killed could seek refuge with relatives, but among those purchased by the pirates, some might have actually been sold by their own families.

Therefore, after resolving the problems related to the Zhang family, whether these women would stay or leave would ultimately depend on their own wishes.

Since there was some clothing available in the piratesʼ base, those women on the submarine who hadnʼt received any clothes now no longer went without clothing.

At that moment, they were all gathered in the main cabin of the submarine. Upon seeing Wang Yue and Su Mengqing approach, they all knelt down to express their gratitude for their rescue; many of them even began to cry on the spot.

”Ladies and gentlemen, please be quiet,” Wang Yue used his vital energy to project his voice, instantly calming the somewhat chaotic atmosphere.

He continued, ”You are now safe, but for certain special reasons, you cannot leave this place for the time being. However, rest assured that you are free on this submarine; no one will force you to do anything. We will provide you with all the necessary supplies. Once the current problems have been resolved, you will be able to leave.”

In fact, these words should have been spoken by Su Mengqing; after all, Wang Yue seemed like just a child.

But whenever she was with Wang Yue, Su Mengqing liked to let him make the decisions, as if she, the head of the Jinling Adventurers Association, were merely a submissive wife and mother.

These women, who had fallen into the hands of pirates, had already prepared themselves for the worst.

Now that they had been saved, it was a pleasant surprise, and naturally, they did not dare to question Wang Yueʼs arrangements.

Hearing that they would eventually be able to leave freely, some were overjoyed, while others were confused.

”We have no home left; where can we go?” someone murmured, and soon many of the women began to cry.

”Quiet!” Wang Yue had no choice but to silence them once again, and then he said, ”In fact, there is no particular place you can go to. I can help arrange jobs for you, so that you can return to a normal life. Moreover, I plan to use this submarine to form a force dedicated to combating pirates. If anyone wants to join us, I welcome you.”

”Can we really fight against pirates?” someone asked. They were ordinary women, after all; how could they possibly stand up to those ruthless pirates?

”Yes, you can. In the initial phase, we will use the advantages of the submarine and its weapons to deal with small groups of pirates. You wonʼt need to participate in actual battles; you just need to be proficient in operating the weapons on the submarine, and thatʼs not difficult to learn,” Wang Yue explained.

This was not something he had decided on a whim, but rather the result of careful consideration. He found the actions of these pirates utterly despicable, and eliminating some of them would be a contribution to humanity as a whole.

He also needed such a force to divert attention, so that the Zhang family would focus their suspicions on this mysterious group, giving him more time to develop his own power.

If anyone was willing to stay on the submarine, he could even consider training them as new candidates for the practice of dual cultivation – since he had drawn the attention of the Tianhai Zhang family, his need for strength had become even more urgent.

If he were outside, he wouldnʼt dare to practice cultivation together with people he didnʼt know well – after all, itʼs difficult to guarantee their loyalty. What if they betrayed him and revealed his secrets to those powerful forces? Even the sacred sites of the martial arts world could be disturbed as a result.

But on a submarine, things are different. Even if a woman tried to betray him after practicing cultivation together, there would be no place where she could do so.

Of course, this would only be possible if she agreed to it first. No matter how eager he might be, he would never force someone to do something; otherwise, what would be the difference between him and those pirates?

To say that these women did not hate pirates would be a complete lie – especially those women whose entire families were killed by the pirates; they truly wished to wipe out every last pirate in the world.

However, being suddenly forced to go from being ordinary, weak women to fighters who fought against the pirates was something they simply couldnʼt adjust to.

After a moment, one woman finally stepped forward and said, ”I want to join!”

This woman appeared to be around thirty-five or thirty-six years of age. She was the oldest among the nearly 1,500 women present, and she was also one of the most beautiful of them all.

However, at this moment, this woman of exquisite appearance and figure exuded an overwhelming sense of hatred, which was rather unsettling.

”Miss, what is your name?” Wang Yue looked at the woman carefully and couldnʼt help but be astonished: The power of hatred is truly infinite; itʼs able to make an ordinary woman exude such a fierce intensity.

”My name is Zhuang Wenxian. I used to be just an ordinary housewife. Although we werenʼt wealthy, we were happy together. But itʼs all because of those damned pirates!” she said through gritted teeth.

”They not only stole everything from us, but they also killed my parents, in-laws, and husband. Only my daughter and I were left behind. I donʼt know what further torments they plan to inflict on us. Now that you have saved us and killed those pirates to avenge us, my life belongs to you. You can tell me to do whatever you want; I am willing to follow you and eliminate more pirates, to save more people who suffer like me!”

Wang Yue nodded in satisfaction. Most people would become demoralized after suffering a devastating blow, but a very few would transform as a result, as if they were reborn as different people. Zhuang Wenxian was clearly one of those few. She was a rare talent indeed.
