Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1854 - 0183: The Official Fiancée 1

The girl appeared to be around fifteen or sixteen years old, about 1.6 meters tall, with long black hair tied into twin ponytails. She had a round face, large eyes, but a very small nose and mouth, making her look like a cartoon-style fairy. She was dressed in a Lolita-style princess dress and wore a pair of red little leather shoes, looking both beautiful and adorable.

However, her expression was anything but cute; it was very serious.

”Chen Xi has arrived! Hurry up, follow her and watch the show!” Zhang Qingtian said excitedly. He was already eager to see Wang Yue get into trouble.

Chen Xi entered the video game arcade and looked around. Just then, Wang Yue and his friends had just finished playing a game and were coming out of the virtual booths, so they soon met.

”Wang Yue!” The moment she saw Wang Yue, the serious expression on Chen Xiʼs face instantly turned into a sweet smile. She ran over and threw herself into Wang Yueʼs arms.

Seeing this, Zhang Qingtian and the others who had been following them silently were completely stunned: What was going on?

Where was the so-called ”family drama” they had been expecting? Where was the story about Chen Xi having a bad temper and getting easily provoked?

Even Wang Yue was a bit confused. He and Chen Xi had known each other since they were children and had a very good relationship. They were engaged, and sometimes they would hold hands, but that was about it. They had never hugged each other like this, let alone in front of so many people.

After hugging Wang Yue, Chen Xi whispered in his ear, ”Check if anyone is following me.”

Wang Yue quickly looked in the direction Chen Xi had come from and quickly spotted Zhang Qingtian and the others hiding behind a row of virtual booths, peeking out.

Seeing these guys, Wang Yue understood everything. Clearly, Zhang Qingtian had been beaten by him and was trying to get back at him by tricking Chen Xi into causing a scene.

Wang Yue found such behavior utterly ridiculous—Zhang Qingtian simply didnʼt understand Chen Xi at all.

But no matter how ridiculous it was, such underhanded behavior was absolutely unacceptable!

So Wang Yue let go of Chen Xi and rushed behind the virtual booths, grabbing Zhang Qingtian by the collar and pulling him out.

”Wang Yue, what are you doing?” Zhang Qingtian struggled and shouted, ”Weʼre just playing here; weʼre not bothering you. Donʼt go too far.”

”No need to argue. I donʼt want to argue with you either,” Wang Yue said, punching Zhang Qingtian in the face and knocking him to the ground. ”If you want to be too aggressive, fine. Today I just wanted to beat you up. Donʼt you agree?”

After saying that, Wang Yue stepped on Zhang Qingtianʼs chest and didnʼt move it away.

Zhang Qingtianʼs followers, seeing their master being trampled underfoot, were terrified but didnʼt dare to do anything. They started shouting and tried to come forward to help.

At that moment, another flash of movement and a few loud blows later, Zhang Qingtianʼs followers were sent flying back, thanks to Chen Xi and Su Jiaojiao.

After dealing with Zhang Qingtianʼs followers, Chen Xi walked over to Wang Yue and looked down at him, still struggling under her foot. She snorted and said, ”It must be you who was behind all this, trying to ruin my relationship with Wang Yue. You really are blind!”

With that, she kicked Zhang Qingtian in the face, leaving a small shoe mark on his cheek.

”Hey, be careful not to expose yourself,” Wang Yue warned, since Chen Xi was wearing a dress and Zhang Qingtian was lying on the ground.

”Donʼt worry, Iʼm wearing underwear,” Chen Xi said sweetly, but she kicked him in the face again without mercy.

Su Jiaojiao found it fun and joined in, imitating Chen Xi and leaving more shoe marks on Zhang Qingtianʼs face.

”Iʼll kill you all… Iʼll kill you all…” Zhang Qingtian struggled desperately, but he couldnʼt move Wang Yueʼs foot off his chest and could only let out useless roars.

Watching Wang Yue and the others torment Zhang Qingtian, Su Jinʼer and Su Xiu exchanged glances and couldnʼt help but laugh.

Chu Mo, however, was shocked. She had always heard about how bad Zhang Qingtian was, how he bullied others and did all sorts of bad things. But now she saw him being severely mistreated by Wang Yue and Chen Xi.

Evil people are often met with their own kind of evil.

Chu Mo thought this to herself, but then she realized it wasnʼt right—how could Wang Yue be considered evil?

One thing was certain: Chen Xi and Wang Yue really matched well together. If it were her, she would never beat someone in public with Wang Yue.

The two girls kicked Zhang Qingtianʼs face more than a dozen times before finally stopping.

”This is just a small lesson. If you dare to play tricks on me again, Iʼll break your legs!” Wang Yue said coldly before lifting his foot. ”Get lost!”

Zhang Qingtian, however, lay there motionless.

It wasnʼt so much that the two girls hit him hard, but rather the fact that they publicly trampled on his face made him feel that he had lost all his dignity and that life was truly meaningless to him.

”You guys, stop pretending to be dead. We didnʼt hit you very hard. Hurry up and carry your young master away before he embarrasses himself lying here like this,” Chen Xi said, turning to the lackeys who had been knocked to the ground by her and Su Jiaojiao and still hadnʼt gotten up yet.

At that moment, it was those lackeys who felt that life was beyond saving.

They had indeed not been hit very hard; they had just pretended to be dead because they didnʼt want to take any more blows. But now that Chen Xi had pointed it out, given Zhang Qingtianʼs character, their fate was obvious.

However, Wang Yue and the others didnʼt feel the slightest sympathy for these guys. These people had followed Zhang Qingtian and done all sorts of bad things; it was only right for them to be punished.

If it werenʼt for the need to consider the bigger picture, Wang Yue would have wanted to get rid of Zhang Qingtian right away. But since he let him go this time, Zhang Qingtian wouldnʼt last long either.

The seeds of hatred had been sown; they had to be dealt with as soon as possible. Otherwise, if they took root and grew, it could lead to serious trouble.

After Chen Xi pointed it out, those lackeys didnʼt dare to pretend any longer. They quickly got up and carried Zhang Qingtian, who was in a dazed state, away.

”Sister Jinʼer, Sister Xiuʼer, Sister Jiaojiao,” said Chen Xi, greeting the three sisters of the Su family after driving away the ”foreign invaders.” Then she turned to Chu Mo and said, ”You must be Sister Chu Mo. Hello, Iʼm Chen Xi.”

”Hi... hello,” Chu Mo replied, feeling a bit guilty in front of Chen Xi. After all, this woman was Wang Yueʼs official fiancée, and in her presence, Chu Mo felt like a mistress.

Seeing Chu Moʼs reaction, Su Jinʼer and Su Xiuʼer didnʼt know whether to be happy or disappointed—Chu Mo clearly had feelings for Wang Yue; otherwise, she wouldnʼt have reacted like that in front of Chen Xi.

After exchanging greetings, Chen Xi said to Wang Yue, ”Wang Yue, when I was kicking that guy just now, my shoe seems to be broken. Could you take a look at it for me?”

”Sure,” Wang Yue agreed and followed Chen Xi to a lounge area next to the game hall where guests could rest for a while.

”Uncle is in trouble now,” Su Jiaojiao said, shaking her head with some schadenfreude as she watched the two leave.

”What do you mean?” Chu Mo asked, feeling very worried. Could this beautiful and lovely girl, who looked like a character from an anime, be the so-called ”tiger from Hedong”?

”Donʼt worry,” Su Jinʼer reassured her. ”Although Xiao Xi can be a bit willful, she has a kind heart and isnʼt the kind of person who is jealous or canʼt tolerate others.”

”What does that have to do with me?” Chu Mo retorted, but her gaze involuntarily drifted in the direction of the lounge area.
