Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1233: Chapter 1233: Undercurrents Stirring 1

Since the target of the lightning strike was himself, Ye Fei naturally wouldn’t let his grandmother get struck along with him.

Without hesitation, he forcefully pulled his member out of his grandmother’s pussy, still wearing an expression of pleasure, and with a powerful thrust of his arms, he hurled her far away.

Just as he had thrown her, the dark sky suddenly lit up, and a bolt of lightning, as thick as a bucket and a dazzling blue-purple color, descended from the heavens and struck Ye Fei, who was completely naked.

The power of this lightning was immense. Had it not been for the significant boost in Ye Fei’s cultivation from absorbing his grandmother’s fundamental energy, this single strike might have been enough to injure him.

The moment Wang Yueryao was thrown out by Ye Fei, she snapped out of her pleasurable daze.

After landing steadily, she watched from a distance as her grandson, whose hair was standing on end from the lightning strike, with an extremely complicated mix of emotions.

There was the resentment from being raped by Ye Fei, the shame of succumbing to her desires, the schadenfreude and reluctance when she saw the little rascal getting struck by lightning, and finally, a hint of sweetness because Ye Fei had thrown her out of harm’s way to face the lightning alone at such a critical moment.

After the first bolt of lightning, Ye Fei remained still because he sensed that the lightning would not end with just one strike.

Sure enough, about half a minute later, the sky lit up again, and a second bolt of lightning struck down, still targeting Ye Fei.

Then came the third, the fourth...

In short, every half a minute or so, a bolt of lightning would descend and strike Ye Fei, and this continued for over half an hour without stopping...

While Ye Fei was undergoing this baptism by lightning, in another world, the Dragon Nation had already begun to see undercurrents stirring.

Beijing Qi Family.

”How is the operation going?” Older Qi sat in his study, feigning nonchalance as he asked. However, the few people present could all detect the excitement in his voice.

”The government side is going smoothly,” Qi Delong, Older Qi’s eldest son and Qi Shilong’s father, was the first to reply.

”We took this opportunity to bring up the scandal between Liu Fengyi and Ye Fei. Now, Liu Fengyi has been suspended from her post for misconduct and is under review. Moreover, our people are already in place, acting as the mayor for now.”

Older Qi nodded with satisfaction. He was all too familiar with the ways of the political arena. To be under review essentially meant that the outcome was already decided.

Even if nothing was found in the end, Liu Fengyi would never be able to return to her position. So, their candidate taking over was almost a certainty.

Then, Older Qi shifted his gaze to his second son, Qi Dongqiang.

Compared to Qi Delong’s triumphant demeanor, Qi Dongqiang had a deeply furrowed brow as he said, ”Father, I’m sorry, but there hasn’t been much progress on the military front. Liu Junyi is now a major general, and without Old Man Zhou’s approval, no one can take her down.”

Older Qi listened and, although somewhat disappointed, this was to be expected. He consoled him, ”It’s not your fault. The Liu and Ye families have some connections with Old Man Zhou, and we can’t push too hard. Anyway, the military’s influence on local affairs is minimal, so let’s take it slowly.”

After that, Older Qi looked at the only third-generation member present, Qi Shilong.

Qi Shilong quickly sat up straight and said, ”Grandpa, don’t worry, without Ye Fei’s interference, I’ll succeed soon!” He naturally understood his grandfather’s implication, which was to quickly win over Zhou Tingting so that the Zhou family would fully support the Qi family.

Older Qi nodded with satisfaction once again, then looked at another second-generation member and asked, ”What about the business front?”

That person replied with some trepidation, ”We haven’t managed to pull it off yet. The Liu and Ye corporations are manageable, but the Qiu Feng Group is too powerful. We dare not make a move lightly.”

Older Qi neither confirmed nor denied this, but turned his gaze to the last person present, ”What about Lingyun Society?”

”The old man can rest assured. Lingyun Society has now been labeled as a terrorist organization. It won’t be long before it collapses,” that person said with great confidence.

”Lingyun Society is the foundation of Ye Fei’s power; we must not be careless,” Older Qi said. ”Once Lingyun Society is eliminated, we will support one of our own to take over the entire underground force.”

In this world, there is both light and darkness. The underground force may seem insignificant, but if it reaches a certain level, it becomes a force to be reckoned with. Ye Fei is a prime example.

”Grandpa, let me go!” Hearing his grandfather’s plan to cultivate the underground force, Qi Shilong’s eyes lit up as he volunteered. Although he harbored animosity towards Ye Fei, it would be a lie to say he didn’t envy him.

If he took over Wanghai, or even the entire southeast’s underground force, wouldn’t he be as formidable as Ye Fei? Therefore, he was determined to seize this opportunity.

Older Qi hesitated for a moment and said, ”But if you go to Wanghai, what about the Zhou family?”

”It’s precisely because of them that I want to go to Wanghai,” Qi Delong, though not particularly wise, was quite clever in his way and quickly came up with a good excuse.

”Didn’t Zhou Tingting look at Ye Fei differently because of his status? If I become the underground emperor of the southeast like Ye Fei, wouldn’t it be easier to pursue her?”

”Very well,” Older Qi did not object this time.

At this moment, his confidence was at its peak. Although he knew his grandson’s abilities were slightly inferior to Ye Fei’s, he believed that with his support from behind, his grandson’s achievements would not be less than Ye Fei’s.

Finally, Older Qi made the decision, ”Let’s continue like this. The political arena is already ours. The military can be approached gradually.

The most important thing is the underground force. After replacing Lingyun Society, Qiu Feng Group will be easier to handle.

Even if we can’t take it over, we can still force them to give up most of their interests. However, we must also be wary of other families interfering.”

”Understood!” everyone responded in unison.

...

Meanwhile, in Beijing, at the Zhou residence.

It was still the same study, and the same two people.

Zhou Shichang looked at Li Minghua and asked, ”Minghua, how is the situation in the southeast?” Although Zhou Shichang was the head of the Zhou family, he was already quite old and had absolute trust in Li Minghua, so he left everything to her to handle.

”Liu Fengyi has been suspended from her post, and those close to her, Song Xuan and Zhang Linxin, have also been sidelined. Lingyun Society has been labeled as a terrorist organization and is being suppressed by the government. They are also coveting the Ye and Liu corporations, but the Qiu Feng Group is too powerful. Even with their political resources, they can’t move against them for the time being,” Li Minghua briefly explained, then frowned and said, ”What I can’t understand is why Ye Fei hasn’t made a move. He is always protective of his own. It’s impossible that he would do nothing when his beloved woman is being bullied.”
