Chapter 1219: Chapter 1219: The Grandmother’s Pursuit

If there’s a Mother of the Earth in this world, then maybe there are also guardians for the sky and the ocean.

With their powers interfering, Wang Yueryao wouldn’t be able to absorb the Earth’s energy as smoothly, and her strength would probably drop drastically.

Even if there aren’t such guardians, flying into the high atmosphere or diving into the ocean would at least take her away from the land.

Wang Yueryao’s power would be affected to some extent, and Ye Fei’s chances of survival would increase.

Between the two options, Ye Fei didn’t hesitate for a second and chose the latter. Although flying into the sky wasn’t difficult for him, Wang Yueryao could do it just as easily.

If they fought mid-air and he got injured and couldn’t maintain his altitude, he’d have to land. And once he hit the ground, he’d be done for.

The ocean was different. Even if he lost the ability to levitate, he’d just fall into the sea and could still float, staying away from the land.

This thought flashed through Ye Fei’s mind in an instant. Without a moment’s delay, he changed direction to the southeast and, a few seconds later, plunged headfirst into the vast Pacific Ocean.

Sure enough, as soon as he was above the ocean, Wang Yueryao’s speed immediately slowed down.

The deeper they got into the ocean, the slower her speed decreased.

When the distance between her and Ye Fei closed to about five hundred meters, their speeds finally matched, and she couldn’t close the gap any further.

At this point, Ye Fei finally let out a sigh of relief. He continued to teleport continuously while taking out his phone from his spatial storage.

As soon as he pulled out his phone, he received a message. But he didn’t have time to look at it. He wasn’t taking out his phone to make a call or anything. He needed to check his location.

To keep his grandmother’s power at a low ebb, he had to stay far away from the coast.

Ye Fei didn’t have any experience with navigation. Even if he were smart, without the GPS on his phone, he’d be lost at sea. He wouldn’t have any idea where he was.

Their current speed was way beyond anything any aircraft in the world could achieve. Fortunately, his phone was customized and enhanced with his technology. Otherwise, the GPS wouldn’t have been able to keep up.

So, Ye Fei kept leading his furious grandmother in circles over the endless ocean. Although his internal energy and lightning power weren’t infinite, and the continuous teleporting was taking a toll, he could hold out for three to five days.

By then, he figured his grandmother’s anger would have cooled down. Ye Fei was pretty confident about this.

However, it turned out Ye Fei was a bit too optimistic. Even though they were over the ocean, the sea floor was still part of the Earth.

Whenever they passed over shallower waters, Wang Yueryao’s speed would increase slightly. This allowed her to close the gap a little bit every once in a while.

But that wasn’t the most critical issue. There weren’t many shallow areas, and after more than half an hour of chasing and running, she had only managed to close the distance by a few meters.

The real problem was Wang Yueryao’s power.

As she pushed herself to the limit, the Earth energy within her, which hadn’t been fully integrated before, was now rapidly merging.

This made her faster and faster, and she kept gaining ground. From the initial five hundred meters, the distance closed to four hundred meters after half an hour, then another hundred meters after twenty minutes or so, and in less than ten minutes, they were less than two hundred meters apart.

Realizing this, Ye Fei couldn’t afford to circle anymore. He tossed his phone back into his spatial storage, picked a direction, and started teleporting in a straight line as fast as he could.

Switching to a straight path, Ye Fei’s speed did increase a bit compared to when he was circling. In just a few minutes, he crossed the entire Pacific Ocean, then traversed a landmass, and finally dove into the Atlantic Ocean.

But Ye Fei was fast, and Wang Yueryao’s speed was increasing even faster. Especially after crossing that landmass, her speed more than doubled. In no time, she was within fifty meters of Ye Fei.

Another minute passed, and the distance between them was less than ten meters.

At this point, if Wang Yueryao had struck, she could have easily hit Ye Fei mid-air. But she didn’t.

Out here in the vast ocean, Ye Fei’s power was no longer much weaker than hers.

To be precise, her power had dropped to just a bit stronger than Ye Fei’s.

If she struck now, even if she hit him, it would only cause some insignificant injuries, and he might even use her force to create more distance between them.

Wang Yueryao was still seething with anger and hadn’t cooled down yet. She wanted to catch Ye Fei and give him a good beating to vent her humiliation and rage.

At this moment, Ye Fei had no intention of running anymore. Even if he tried his best, with his grandmother’s current speed, she would catch him in less than half a minute.

Besides, they were in the middle of the ocean, and he didn’t have time to check his location again.

If he ended up near the coastline or on land again, it would only make his grandmother stronger, and he’d have even less of a chance.

So Ye Fei abruptly stopped, turned to face Wang Yueryao, and assumed a defensive posture. ”Grandma, can you just listen to me for a second?” he pleaded.

Ye Fei’s sudden stop caught Wang Yueryao off guard for a moment.

But as a master even more powerful than him, her reaction was incredibly quick. She paused for less than a hundredth of a second, then shouted, ”What’s there to talk about?” and swung her palm at Ye Fei.

Faced with his grandmother’s fierce attack, Ye Fei could only defend himself and had no chance to fight back.

Of course, he didn’t want to fight back either. He just kept blocking her attacks while forcing a bitter smile and saying, ”Grandma, I’m your only grandson and the only heir of the Liu and Ye families. Do you want to kill me to feel better?”

Normally, Ye Fei’s words would have had a big impact on Wang Yueryao. Given how much she doted on her only grandson, she would have calmed down a lot under normal circumstances.

But the problem was, Ye Fei wasn’t in a normal state right now. He was completely naked, and because he was fully activating his Xuan Yang Technique, his huge, long dick was as hard as an iron rod, constantly swinging around with his movements.
