Chapter 1026: Chapter 1026: The Fairy of the Demon Sect

Ye Fei wasn’t unfamiliar with formations. He even had a magical artifact capable of arranging and altering time through formations. However, the formations he had seen before were always set up with objects or natural landscapes, like the massive natural formation in the southwestern primeval forest.

This kind of formation, composed and arranged by people like his mother-in-law and senior sisters, was something he had never seen before. It was so fascinating that he was completely captivated.

While formations might not be particularly useful to him personally, the idea of teaching them to his women was appealing. It would enhance their combat strength.

Although with him around, the chances of his beloved women engaging in life-and-death battles were virtually nonexistent, the saying ”the more skills you have, the better” still held, right?

Shen Huiya and the other three women were already stronger than their opponents to begin with. With the boost from the formation, their limited advantage was exponentially amplified.

Within less than five minutes, they had gained an absolute upper hand.

Despite this, they didn’t let up at all. Instead, they increased the force of their attacks. Although they were winning, the rest of the Demon Sect was in the opposite situation.

By this point in the battle, they had started to lose ground. Especially the young and beautiful female disciples—almost all of them were injured.

If it weren’t for the fact that they were all exceptional beauties and most of the opponents were men who couldn’t help but feel some pity for them, the Demon Sect might have already suffered casualties.

The ones who had come with Zhu Yuyan were the mainstays of the older generation of the Demon Sect and the core disciples who had been vigorously cultivated in recent years.

If they were all to fall here, the Demon Sect would be severely weakened. Naturally, Shen Huiya and the others wanted to end the battle quickly so they could go rescue their endangered disciples.

Like the four women, the Dony combination was also extremely anxious. However, their concern wasn’t for the lives of the disciples.

Most of the people who had come with them were not from Wudang or Cihang Jingzhai, but rather martial artists from the jianghu who had been swayed by their reputation. The lives of these people meant nothing to them.

What truly worried Mieyin the nun and the old Taoist was their own safety. Under the increasingly strong attacks from Shen Huiya and the others, they hadn’t been injured yet, but they were left with only the strength to defend themselves.

After another failed attempt to break through the encirclement and being forced back by Hua Nongyue’s palm strike, the old Taoist finally couldn’t hold back.

While struggling to fend off the increasingly powerful attacks from the four women, he shouted into the distance, ”Great-uncle, Abbess Jingxu, please take action! Let’s eliminate this group of heretics and demons today and rid the martial world of a great menace!”

The two people standing outside the battlefield reacted differently to the old Taoist’s plea. The old nun called ”Jingxu” clasped her hands together, bowed her head, and softly chanted a Buddhist verse.

Other than that, she remained still, and her expression of compassion became even more profound. The old Taoist, whom the impulsive one called ”great-uncle,” however, seemed somewhat swayed.

To explain in the narrative, this old Taoist, named Chuchen, appeared to be around the same age as the impulsive one, but he was over a hundred years old. His martial arts skills were among the top in his entire sect.

However, having grown up on Mount Wudang and rarely exposed to the secular world, his experience in dealing with people was far less than that of the cunning and deceitful impulsive one. Moreover, having been instilled with the notion of ”the irreconcilable conflict between good and evil” since childhood, he was easily persuaded by the impulsive one to leave the mountain this time.

After leaving the mountain, he happened to meet the group from Cihang Jingzhai, who were also seeking revenge against Ye Fei. From Mieyin, Chuchen learned more about Ye Fei’s ”evil deeds” as a ”lecherous man” of the Demon Sect.

He knew that Ye Fei had not only taken the fiancée of the impulsive one’s apprentice but had also not spared the young nuns from Cihang Jingzhai. This further strengthened the righteous old Taoist’s determination to eliminate Ye Fei.

However, upon arriving in Wanghai, before they could even look for Ye Fei to settle the score, they ran into a large group from the Demon Sect.

Like them, the group was also looking for Ye Fei, but unlike their intention to confront Ye Fei, the Demon Sect members had come to join Ye Fei.

A disagreement quickly led to a fight right here.

Although Chuchen was naive, he was over a hundred years old and a master at the Great Ascension stage. He was no fool.

After the previous conversation and the battle, he could see that although the Demon Sect was called a ”demon” sect, its members did not seem to be the lecherous and evil people he had imagined.

Especially the four women leading the group, they were not the ”demonesses” he had imagined. Instead, they seemed more like the legendary fairies.

Even Shen Huiya, the most charming of the four women, was charming without being seductive, and she had an air of transcendence.

With this doubt in mind, Chuchen did not immediately attack the women as the impulsive one had hoped. However, as the situation became more chaotic and more people got injured, it was clear that the battle could not continue.

So he leaped into the air and landed right in the center of the battlefield. Spreading his arms like a great roc, he shouted, ”Everyone, stop!”

With Chuchen’s movement, everyone on the battlefield felt a powerful yet not overbearing force coming towards them, causing them to involuntarily step back.

Even Shen Huiya and the others in the high-level battlefield, as well as the Dony combination, were forced to retreat.

Sensing Chuchen’s strength, the members of the Demon Sect were all somewhat intimidated. Shen Huiya and the others’ faces turned pale. They had never expected the old Taoist to be so powerful. It seemed that today, the Demon Sect didn’t stand a chance in this battle.

After separating everyone, Chuchen announced his presence and said to Shen Huiya and the others, ”Ladies, although you are from the Demon Sect, I can sense that none of you are evil people. So today, I will not make things difficult for you. If you stop protecting that lecher Ye Fei, let’s just call it quits, shall we?”

Given the current situation, accepting Chuchen’s proposal would undoubtedly be the best choice for the Demon Sect. However, among the more than fifty members of the Demon Sect, not a single one showed any sign of being swayed.

Everyone’s eyes were focused on Shen Huiya and the other three women. The stunning twins and Jiang Manjun also looked at Shen Huiya.

Among the four wives of the Demon Sect, aside from Zhu Yuyan being the eldest sister, there was no hierarchy among the other three women. However, since Hua Wuying and Hua Nongyue had never met Ye Fei, and Jiang Manjun was a junior, it naturally fell to Shen Huiya, who had met Ye Fei, to make the decision.

Shen Huiya’s delicate brows furrowed slightly as she spoke in a deep voice, ”We appreciate the Taoist’s kindness, but Ye Fei is the successor of our Demon Sect. Now that he is in trouble, we cannot just stand by and do nothing!”
