Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 906: The Might of the Barbarian

San Francisco is a coastal city with a famous landmark, Alcatraz Island. Ye Feiʼs destination, Enchanted Island, is, as the name suggests, a small island near Alcatraz (a fictional name, donʼt overthink it!).

When Ye Fei and his group arrived, the Thunder God was already waiting there.

Unlike Ye Feiʼs entourage, the only other person with the Thunder God was a girl with sky-blue hair, just like his. She was a stunning and sexy foreign beauty, even rivaling Liliya in attractiveness.

The girl, who appeared to be in her twenties, had a somewhat aloof expression. Unlike most Westerners, her attire was very conservative.

Apart from her head, every part of her body was tightly wrapped, and she even wore a pair of black gloves on her hands.

Seeing Ye Fei arrive as promised, the Thunder God was pleased. He stepped forward and said, ”Boss Ye is truly a man of his word.”

In contrast, Ye Fei was in no good mood, considering that Liu Yunʼerʼs parents were still in the opponentʼs hands. He asked gravely, ”Iʼm here. Where are Uncle Liu and the others?”

”Rest assured, once our fight is over, I will release them immediately,” the Thunder God said seriously.

Ye Feiʼs expression darkened, ”Then why not release them now? Could it be that the mighty Thunder God lacks confidence in his strength and wants to use them as leverage against me?”

”Of course not. Iʼm just afraid that if I release them and you leave, where would I find such a worthy opponent again?” the Thunder God explained. ”Itʼs not that I donʼt trust you, Boss Ye. Itʼs just that Iʼve been deceived by people from your country a few times before, so I have to be cautious.”

Although Ye Fei was somewhat annoyed by the Thunder Godʼs words, he couldnʼt argue. He knew that there were indeed some untrustworthy people in the Dragon Nation who never kept their word. It was no wonder the Thunder God was so cautious. He nodded and said, ”Alright, letʼs fight first!”

”Great!” the Thunder God said with satisfaction, then turned to the blue-haired beauty who had been silent beside him. ”Leona, no matter whether I live or die in this battle, you must release Mr. and Mrs. Liu after we have a fair fight, understood?”

The Thunder God spoke these words in Chinese, clearly to reassure Ye Fei and his group. Surprisingly, the blue-haired beauty replied in very standard Mandarin, ”Yes, Father!”

”Lord Thunder God, from what youʼre saying, it seems like our battle is going to be a fight to the death. Is that necessary?” Ye Fei asked hesitantly.

It wasnʼt that he was afraid of the Thunder God, but he was worried that if he killed the Thunder God, the blue-haired beauty might take revenge on Liu Yunʼerʼs parents. After all, she was the Thunder Godʼs daughter, and seeking revenge for her father would be a natural reaction.

The Thunder God smiled and said, ”When I fight, I never stop until one of us is dead. Those who know me are aware of this. So, rest assured, even if you kill me, my daughter will still release them as promised.”

”In that case, Lord Thunder God, doesnʼt that mean you canʼt afford to lose even once?” Ye Fei said, somewhat at a loss for words.

The Thunder God nodded solemnly, ”Indeed, I am called the Thunder God. Even a single failure would be a desecration of the mighty power of thunder. In my eyes, there is only life and death, not victory or defeat!”

”Alright then, letʼs go!” Faced with this stubborn opponent, Ye Fei didnʼt want to waste any more breath and simply gestured for the Thunder God to make the first move.

However, the Thunder God didnʼt start immediately. Instead, he said, ”My thunder power is extremely potent, and this island is so small. It might hurt them. How about they leave first, and then we can have a proper fight?”

When the Thunder God said this, the others were fine, but Ye Zhilin was not convinced. Who was she? She was a strong fighter, almost on par with Ye Fei.

Now she was being underestimated.

How could she feel comfortable about that?

But after Ye Feiʼs persuasion, Ye Zhilin eventually left with Liu Yunʼer and the others by helicopter. As for the blue-haired beauty on the other side, she left very abruptly, either because she had too much confidence in her father or because she simply didnʼt care.

After everyone left, the small island, which was only a few miles in circumference, was left with only Ye Fei and the Thunder God. Without any more words, they immediately began their battle.

Ye Fei took a deep breath, and his body shot forward like a gust of wind. He threw a punch straight at the Thunder Godʼs face, but in the blink of an eye, the tall Thunder God turned into a streak of lightning.

Not only did Ye Feiʼs punch hit a shadow, causing a tingling sensation in his hand, but the Thunder God also instantly appeared not far behind him.

The Thunder God, who had dodged Ye Feiʼs attack, extended a finger and pointed at Ye Fei. A blue-purple bolt of lightning instantly appeared in the sky and struck straight at Ye Feiʼs head.

In terms of speed, Ye Fei considered himself very fast, but at this moment, he couldnʼt dodge the lightning at all. He could only use his internal energy to form a barrier above his head, causing the lightning to bounce back without any effect.

Since the initial probe failed, the two quickly engaged in fierce combat. However, no matter how they fought, the situation remained the same. Ye Feiʼs attacks were easily dodged by the Thunder God, and the Thunder Godʼs lightning was neutralized by Ye Feiʼs internal energy. They fought from the afternoon until dusk, still without a clear winner.

During the battle, Ye Fei also used his domainʼs teleportation ability, but he was surprised to find that the Thunder God, who wielded the power of thunder, was even more proficient at teleportation. From beginning to end, he didnʼt even manage to touch the Thunder God once.

From the current situation, it seemed that the two were evenly matched. But both Ye Fei and the Thunder God knew that if they continued like this, Ye Fei would inevitably be the one to fail.

The Thunder God was drawing on the power of thunder from the universe, while Ye Fei was relying on his internal energy.

No matter how strong his cultivation was, it couldnʼt compare to the power of the universe.

Now Ye Fei finally understood why people said the Thunder God was the toughest of the Four Deities. With the power of thunder at his command, he moved at the speed of light. It was like cheating.

The more Ye Fei fought, the more frustrated he became, while the Thunder God grew more and more excited. His thunder attacks grew stronger and stronger, and he laughed heartily, ”No wonder youʼre a rising star who dominates one side. Boss Ye is truly extraordinary!”

Ye Fei gave a wry smile and said, ”Lord Thunder God, if we keep fighting like this, Iʼm afraid it will take at least ten days or half a month to determine a winner. How about we stop now?”

”Only life and death, no victory or defeat!” the Thunder God roared madly. ”And I believe the one who will die is you!”

”You leave me no choice!” Ye Fei said gravely. As he spoke, his body underwent a tremendous transformation.

From a normal person around six feet tall, he instantly became a barbarian giant nearly ten feet tall.

In his hands appeared two giant swords over six feet long. It was his long-unused barbarian transformation.
