New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 2048  Abandoned

”Now, it is time to complete todayʼs exchange with our Sect Leader Theron.”

Looking at Theron, Ajax smiled as he activated the Divine Hall of the Celestial Exchange.

ʼSwiishʼ

In the next moment, Ajaxʼs body melted and became one with the Divine Hall of the Celestial Exchange.

The process was completely similar to the time when Theron merged with the Divine Hall of the Celestial Exchange.

”Your parent sectʼs name is Heavenly Aurora Sect, right?”

Soon after, Ajaxʼs voice resounded in the entire Divine Hall and Theron guessed what Ajax was trying to do and became furious.

However, there was nothing Theron could do now because of the side effects of the forceful demerging with the Divine Hall of the Celestial Exchange.

”Heavenly Leader of the Heavenly Aurora Sect, come out and pay the ransom for your subsidiary leader.”

Ajaxʼs powerful sound resounded in the entire hall as he summoned the Leader of the Heavenly Aurora Sect.

It was similar to what Theron had done with the Leaders of the Universe but unlike Theron, Ajax only kidnapped one member. So, he could only summon one Heavenly Leader backing Theron.

”Huh? Who are you?”

The voice of the Sir Celestial, who spoke when Theron activated the Divine Hall back then, resounded with a hint of annoyance.

As the leader of a Heavenly Sect, how could I have so much free time to waste?

He was already disturbed by Theron once and now, he was again summoned by the same Divine Artifact.

The thing with the Divine Artifacts, they could briefly summon someone, no matter how powerful they were.

Of course, every time the Divine Artifact Summons someone, the artifact consumes so much energy and it might be impossible for Theron; however, it was a piece of cake for Ajax whose Divine Spirit Consicousness had a capacity of 1.5 billion units.

”Sir Celestial, you can redeem the life of the leader of your subsidiary by exchanging a Quasi-Divine Grade Cultivation Item.”

Ajax copied Theronʼs style of asking for the ransom without wasting any time.

Moreover, he maintained a respectful attitude because the other party was someone from the Heavenly Realm and a leader of the Heavenly Sect.

”You claimed the ownership of the Divine Hall of the Celestial Exchange?”

Soon, Sir Celestial realized something as he asked Ajax a question.

”Forget about Theron. Just kill him if you want.”

Before Ajax could answer Sir Celestialʼs question, Sir Celestial spoke again, asking Ajax to kill Theron.

ʼWhat?ʼ

Now, it was Ajaxʼs turn to get shocked as he was not expecting the Heavenly Leaders to be so blunt.

Ajax believed that since all the previous Heavenly Leaders cared and paid for the leaders of their subsidiary forces, Sir Celestial would also pay for Theron.

After that, he would let Theron leave the Divine Hall of the Celestial Exchange as he promised; however, later, he planned to kill Theron outside the Divine Hall of the Celestial Exchange.

The rules of the Divine Hall of the Celestial Exchange are only applied inside it; however, once they are outside, they can fight and kill each other without any restriction.

”You heard me right! Kill him as I have no use for him.”

Seeing that Ajax was not reacting, Sir Celestial Spoke again, asking him to kill Theron as he continued, ”Do you think I am a fool? I can see right through your thoughts.”

”What?”

Hearing those words, Ajax got caught off guard again.

”The moment you become the owner of the Divine Hall of the Celestial Exchange, Theron becomes useless to my Heavenly Aurora Sect. Moreover, you seem much more powerful than that b*stard and planning to kill him after the exchange. So, just kill him.”

The more Ajax listened to Sir Celestialʼs words, the more shocked he became.

”Anyway, letʼs talk about the main business.”

Sir Celestial didnʼt give much time for Ajax to think as he spoke again.

”Are you interested in joining my Heavenly Aurora Sect? If so, you can become the new Sect Leader of the Celestial Dawn Sect until you ascend.”

”After ascending to the Heavenly Realm, you will be given new Cultivation Techniques and Cultivation Resources to rapidly increase your strength.”

”Most importantly, you will get the protection of the Heavenly Aurora Sect which countless cultivators die for?”

One thing after another, Sir Celestial offered a bunch of benefits that Ajax could get by joining the Heavenly Aurora Sect.

Not only could he become the new Sect Leader of the Celestial Dawn Sect but he would be protected by the sect after his ascension.

Other benefits included Cultivation Techniques, Cultivation Resources, Exploration of the Secret Realm and many more which normal ascenders would fight to death for.

Whatʼs more? Ajax could also bring Siora and Aron with him to the Heavenly Aurora Sect.

”Of course, you have to swear an oath that you will stay loyal to the Heavenly Aurora Sect until your death.”

Just when everyone thought that everything was too good to believe, Sir Celestial dropped the main condition that Ajax and his group had to fulfil.

”Haha”

Even Ajax, who was not interested in joining any organisation or sect, got slightly tempted when he heard Sir Celestialʼs offer.

Who doesnʼt want an easy protected life in the Heavenly Realm that was filled with dangers and one could lose their life at any moment?

However, if such protected life comes at a price they have to sell their soul for an external organization that they donʼt know how evil it is.

Hence, Ajax started laughing after hearing Sir Celestialʼs condition, making the Heavenly Leader furious.

”You…I will remember you. When you ascend to the Heavenly Realm, remember to always watch your back.”

After saying those words, Sir Celestial disconnected with the Divine Hall of the Celestial Exchange, leaving Theron who was lying on the floor with mixed emotions.

He thought that the Heavenly Leaders would never abandon their subsidiary leaders and it was valid until his plan was executed; however, when it came to redeeming himself, his Heavenly Leader abandoned him without any mercy.

ʼWhy did it happen to me? My plan was executed beautifully; however, I canʼt enjoy any of the cultivation resources I got from the Heavenly Leaders.ʼ
