Chapter 2014: Effectiveness of Rule Ascension Lotus

”Donʼt you have any plans to awaken more Divine Rules”?”

Although he wanted Siora to increase the awakening percentage of the Divine Forest Rule, Ajax didnʼt want her to make a hasty decision.

ʼNo. I am already satisfied with the Divine Forest Rule.ʼ

Siora directly replied to Ajax as she continued, ”Moreover, if I awaken more Divine Rules, the Rule Ascension Lotuses might help a bit; however, it would be quite difficult to improve the awakening percentage to 100 percent.”

According to Siora, even if she awakened a second Divine Rule, he could not bring it to an awakening percentage 80 using the Rule Ascension Lotuses because her Divine Forest Rule has already awakened to 60 percent.

Nevertheless, if she could bring her Divine Rules to an awakening percentage of 80 through other means, it would be even more difficult to increase the percentage to 100 percent.

She felt, that struggling for one Divine Rule was already enough and there was no need to add another stress as she was already quite satisfied with the Divine Forest Rule.

”Under the Divine Forest Rule, there were effects that helped me attack, defend and assist with healing and even nurturing skills. In short, it is an all-rounder Divine Rule.”

After thinking for a moment, Siora helped Ajax understand her reasons for being satisfied with the Divine Forest Rule and why she didnʼt want to awaken another Divine Rule.

”You got a point.”

Hearing her words, Ajax realized something and it was, ʼHaving more Divine Rules was not always a good thing.ʼ

When the cultivators didnʼt feel any pressure, their chances of creating inner demons decreased significantly, and encountering the bottlenecks in their cultivation was impossible.

”Okay then. You can use the Rule Ascension Lotus and cultivate inside the Divine Inner World.”

Since the Divine Inner World was filled with the Divine Essence of Nature, it was a good cultivation environment for cultivators...especially those who still use the Essence of Nature for their cultivation.

Moreover, the spirit beast horde was still ongoing outside.

Thus, Ajax asked Siora to cultivate inside the Divine Inner World while giving a Rule Ascension Lotus.

”Okay.”

Siora nodded her head and sat down with the Rule Ascension Lotus in her hands.

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as Siora injected her Essence of Nature into the Rule Ascension Lotus, it started flying in mid-air and slowly hovering on its head.

ʼSwiishʼ

Under Ajaxʼs watchful eye, he noticed that the Rule Ascension Lotus slowly melted, transforming into a mysterious golden energy that covered Sioraʼs entire body.

ʼSwiishʼ

The process didnʼt last long as the mysterious golden energy slowly disappeared after a couple of minutes without any traces; however. Siora didnʼt open her eyes and remained in her cultivation posture.

Time continued to pass and in a flash, eight more minutes passed as Siora finally opened her eyes with great excitement.

”How did it go? Did you absorb all the energy from the Rule Ascension Lotus already?”

For Siora, those 10 minutes seemed like hours; however, Ajax felt that it was quick.

Anything that reaches Quasi-Divine Grade will take quite a long time, especially for those who donʼt have a Divine Spirit Consciousness or Divine Body like Ajax.

Hence, he could not help but ask Siora about refining all the energy from the Rule Ascension Lotus.

”Yes. I refined the entire energy from the Rule Ascension Lotus.”

Siora smiled brightly as she continued, ”As for the gains, the awakening of my Divine Forest Rule has been increased by 8 percent, reaching 68 percent in total.”

”What? 8 percent increase with a single Rule Ascension Lotus?”

Ajax knew that the effects of the Rule Ascension Lotus would be terrifying; however, he didnʼt expect it to be this terrifying.

It might seem only 8 percent; however, it was not the same 6 percent of awakening from the first half but the second half of the Divine Rule.

As the awakening percentage of the Divine Rules increases, it becomes increasingly harder.

IfSiora used the regular cultivation method to improve the awakening percentage of her Divine Forest Rule from 60 to 68 percent, even with her extraordinary talent, it would easily take a decade, given she cultivated in an Essence-Rich Cultivation World.

In short, a single Rule Ascension Lotus saved a decade of cultivation for Siora.

Of course, when the Rule Ascension Lotus is used by a cultivator who was stuck at a certain percentage of Divine Rule, it would save him centuries or even more.

”Letʼs use another one.”

Although it would be best to wait for some time before using the same type of cultivation resources, Ajax has lots of Rule Ascension Lotus.

Hence, he didnʼt mind a slight drop in the efficiency of the Rule Ascension Lotuses and gave two more Lotuses to Siora to use.

ʼSwiishʼ

The process remained the same; however, the effectiveness of the second Rule Ascension Lotus has dropped by more than half.

The awakening percentage of the Divine Forest Rule increased by only 3 percent.

ʼContinue.ʼ

It was already within Ajaxʼs expectations. So, he didnʼt think much and asked Siora to continue with a single goal in his mind and it was to push her Divine Forest Rule to 80 percent.

ʼSystem, note down the results for each Rule Ascension Lotus she uses.ʼ

At the same time, Ajax made a simple order for System and soon, he started receiving the system notifications.

ʼDing,

The first Rule Ascension Lotus has increased the awakening percentage by 8 percent.

ʼDing,

The second Rule Ascension Lotus has increased the awakening percentage by 3 percent.

ʼDing,

The third Rule Ascension Lotus has increased the awakening percentage by 1 percent.

ʼDing,

The eighth Rule Ascension Lotus has increased the awakening percentage by 1 percent.

ʼDing,

The ninth Rule Ascension Lotus has increased the awakening percentage by 1 percent.

After the first two Rule Ascension Lotuses, the efficiency remained the same at just one percent; however, Ajax was more than satisfied with such gains.

In short, it took only nine Rule Ascension Lotuses to bring Sioraʼs Divine Forest Rule to an awakening percentage of 80, which was a maximum of what the Rule Ascension Lotuses can

do.
