New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 2017: More Revelations

With the help of Siora and Floris, Ajax could harvest the Rule Ascension Lotuses twice a week. So, Ajax was not worried about not having enough Rule Ascension Lotuses.

First, he planned to turn the Rule Ascension Lotuses in his hands into strength.

As for the next batch of Rule Ascension Lotuses which can be harvested in a couple of days, Ajax planned to sell them.

ʼAlso, itʼs not like I will be selling 100 Rule Ascension Lotuses at once.ʼ

Ajax planned to sell a maximum of 20 Rule Ascension Lotuses and give the remaining 80 to his subordinates and Contracted Spirit Beasts.

ʼI only hope to get more Rule Ascension Lotus Seeds from harvesting.ʼ

The number of seeds harvested from each plant decides the speed of his breakthrough.

Hence, Ajax was more curious about the seeds than the Rule Ascension Lotuses.

Time continued to pass and in a flash, nearly two hours passed by as Aron and others stopped using the Rule Ascension Lotuses because their Divine Rules had reached an awakening percentage of 80.

Aron used 12 Lotuses, and Raweth and Sparrow used 14 Lotuses each to bring all their Divine Rules to an awakening of 80 percent.

Twilight used only 8 Lotuses to bring all his four Divine Rules to 80 percent.

ʼAmong this batch, Snow required the least number of Rule Ascension Lotuses.ʼ

Ajax was a little surprised by Twilightʼs usage of 8 Lotuses; however, Snowʼs usage shocked him because she used only 5 Rule Ascension Lotuses.

Even Siora, a Forest Elf, required 9 Rule Ascension Lotuses to increase her awakening percentage from 60 to 80 whereas Snow brought all her Divine Rules to the 80 percent of awakening with just 5 Rule Ascension Lotus.

ʼSnow is a Heavenʼs Child.ʼ

Ajax could not help but conclude that Snow was the treasured daughter of the heavens.

Using the Rule Ascension Lotuses for Divine Rules below 70 percent of awakening have high efficiency; however, after reaching 70 percent, it dropped to 1 percent of awakening per Lotuses.

Of course, in Twilightʼs case, it was 3 percent per lotus as for Snow, itʼs hard to calculate.

ʼSince Snow is an exception, I can remove her data regarding the gains from the Rule Ascension Lotuses.ʼ

Without Snowʼs data, Ajax got a rough idea of how the Rule Ascension Lotusesʼ efficiency works at different levels of Divine Rule Awakening.

ʼ53 Rule Ascension Lotuses are used and adding to the 9 Lotuses used by Siroa, in total, 62 of them are consumed so far.ʼ

With that, Ajax was left with 50 more Rule Ascension Lotuses which are not enough to nurture the Devourer Eagle Army.

ʼIt is better to nurture all the Devourer Eagles at once.ʼ

Ajax thought about it for a moment and decided to nurture others.

”Twilight, it is time for you to join the battlefield.”

Outside the Celestial Pillar, it was already the 25th round of the Spirit Beast Horde and many of the Spirit Beasts have awakened Divine Rules with above 20 percent.

The Devourer Eagles have already fought for three rounds and were tired but they could still go for another round or two.

However, Ajax decided to send Twilight as a reward for being patient all this while.

ʼI donʼt know how long the other participants will last. So, it is better to send him now.ʼ

If Twilight was not rewarded for his patience, in the future, he might not wait patiently anymore.

In short, Ajax wanted to create an environment for Twilight where patience and self-control are rewarded.

”Yes, Master.”

Twilight was not expecting Ajax to send him to the battlefield so soon; however, he was excited.

ʼRoarʼ

Without wasting any time, he transformed into a huge dragon and rushed into the huge horde of incoming Spirit Beasts.

[Twilight Cannon]

ʼBoomʼ

What followed was what Twilight excelled at-pure destruction.

”You three, keep an eye on the Spirit Beasts that Twilight misses.”

Ajax gave an order to Raweth, Snow and Sparrow before selecting the next batch of Spirit Beasts for using the Rule Ascension Lotuses.

”Little White, Little Gold, Big Gold, Nova (The leader of the Mountain Lions).”

This time, Ajax only selected four beasts, before bringing them to the Divine Inner World and repeated the same process as earlier.

ʼBig Gold, and Nova, you two wait for a while.ʼ

Ajax didnʼt give the Rule Ascension Lotus to the Father Golden Bear and the Mountain Lion Emperor; instead, he gave one each to the two little ones.

Because Ajax wanted to confirm something.

Ten minutes,

ʼDing,

The first Rule Ascension Lotus has increased the awakening percentage of Little Goldʼs Divine Rules by 50 and 50 percent respectively.

ʼDing,

Divine Gold Rule (70 percent), Divine Bestial Rule (60 percent).

ʼDing,

The first Rule Ascension Lotus has increased the awakening percentage of Little Whiteʼs Divine Rules by 50 and 50 percent respectively.

ʼDing,

Divine Snow Rule (60 percent), Divine Bestial Rule (55 percent).

ʼAs I expected, the age of the consumer also affects the efficiency of the Rule Ascension

Lotus.ʼ

Seeing the results of the first Rule Ascension Lotuses on both little ones, Ajax finally concluded one of his assumptions.

ʼSo, the main reason why Twilight used only 8 Rule Ascension Lotuses is because he is a young

beast.ʼ

It was the same for the Little Lion and Little Bear.

ʼLetʼs continue now.ʼ

Soon after, Ajax gave the Rule Ascension Lotuses to Nova and Big Gold.

Time continued to pass and in a flash, one and a half hours passed by, as the two little ones had successfully upgraded their Divine Rules to an awakening of 80 percent.

ʼLike Twilight, they used only 8 Rule Ascension Lotuses each.ʼ

Ajax felt good for guessing his assumptions as he looked at the two older beasts who were

using more Rule Ascension Lotuses.

Another hour passed by as those two older spirit beasts also finished their mission by using 15

and 16 Lotuses respectively.

ʼThe older the consumer, the more Rule Ascension Lotuses are required.ʼ

Looking at the remaining three Rule Ascension Lotuses in his possession, Ajax shook his head.

ʼIt looks like the third mission is coming to an end.ʼ
