New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1770 Back To Back Duels (2)

Twilightʼs previous opponents didnʼt have both bloodline and the Divine Rule; however, this time, the opponent has both.

Moreover, the opponent also knew that Twilight was not weak, would be careful while fighting him and wouldnʼt get any opportunity to let Twilight finish him in a single move.

Therefore, Twilight knew that this duel would be a little difficult; however, he was looking for such battles where he would get satisfaction after winning the fight.

[Void Jump]

[Twilight Armour]

Soon, the preparation time was completed as the battle between Twilight and the Void Dragonling began.

Unlike the previous fights, the battle between these two was intense as they used their attacks and either dodged or blocked perfectly, making everyone witness a good battle between the juniors after a long time.

”You are just as good as the Jade Dragon Emperor when he was young. It looks like he trained you well.”

As the fight continued, the Void Dragonlingʼs respect towards Twilight increased and from time to time, he would say some good comments about Twilight and his fighting style.

”You are not bad either.”

On the other hand, Twilight also had a good impression as he felt he had finally found a good sparring partner.

”Thank you.”

The Void Dragonling teleported away from Twilight before saying, ”If not for the trial, I would have continued to fight you for as long as possible; however, I have to win this fight quickly and recover my strength for my future battles with the other participants.”

ʼ[Void Dragonlingʼs Bloodline], deactivate.ʼ

Until now, the Void Dragonling was fighting with his bloodline activated and he was still unable to defeat Twilight.

Thatʼs the reason why he was impressed by Twilight; however, he didnʼt want to waste any more time as he wanted to wrap this fight up as soon as possible and get first place in the ranking.

ʼAs long as I defeat him, I can stay in first place for today and tomorrow also. As for the Divine Rule, I have to finish the match in 10 seconds and I can use the Divine Rule after two days without harming my body much.ʼ

The only trump card that the Void Dragonling left to win the battle was none other than using the Divine Rule; however, if he activated it and used it for a full two minutes, he needed to wait for one full month to safely activate the Divine Rule again.

Nevertheless, if he could use it for only 10 seconds and deactivate the Divine Rule, he could use it again in two to three days and if he had to use it, the Void Dragonling decided to harm his body by using the Divine Rule before it fully came out of the reset.

Since he would be completing a duel today, the Void Dragonling was not worried that he had to fight some powerful participants for today and tomorrow.

As for the day after tomorrow, someone had to find the Divine Dragon Flag and challenge and if that really happened and the opponent was powerful, he could only harm himself by activating the Divine Rule.

ʼ[Divine Space Rule], activate.ʼ

Even though he could use both the bloodline and the Divine Rule at the same time, the after-effects from it would unnecessarily increase the cooldown.

Moreover, to defeat Twilight, the Void Dragonling felt there was no need to stack both the bloodline effects and the Divine Space Rule.

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as he activated his Divine Rule, the Void Dragonling emitted an aura that was comparable to the peak Emperor Realm Cultivators.

ʼHe will be my strongest opponent. Letʼs defeat him and walk the path of the strongest divine dragon.ʼ

However, Twilight was not surprised much as he revealed a slight smile on his face as he was waiting for this moment.

”Donʼt think too much about it. Itʼs just your luck is bad for fighting me.”

The Void Dragonling wanted to finish the duel as fast as possible. Hence, didnʼt waste any time as he freely teleported more than four or five times in a row before closing in on Twilight.

”Thatʼs my line.”

Twilight knew that the Void Dragonling already had the Divine Space Rule and after activating it, he could teleport instantly within a limited range.

Also, all his battle prowess would be increased by 10 times and even if he used the normal attack, it would severely injure Twilight and make him win the duel in no time.

However, Twilight was calm as he already thought of what he had to do when the Void Dragonling used his Divine Space Rule.

ʼDivine Dark Rule, activate.ʼ

In the next second, a powerful aura burst out of Twilightʼs Body that instantly pushed the Void Dragonling who was ready to attack him away.

”Haha…you surprsied me for a moment there. So, you do have a Divine Rule. No wonder, you looked confident and fearless when I activated my Divine Space Rule.”

The Void Dragonling was surprised and looked calm on the surface; however, he became anxious when he saw Twilight activate a Divine Rule.

Whatʼs more, from the energy bursting out of Twilightʼs body, the Void Dragonling could tell that Twilightʼs Divine Rule had more awakening percentage and with more awakening percentage, a beast or a cultivator could keep the Divine Rule activated for a long time.

ʼDamn it…I have to go all out and give up on the top three rankings.ʼ

The Void Dragonling gritted because if he went all out in the fight now, he wouldnʼt be able to use the Divine Rule in the remaining days of the trial and if he didnʼt use the Divine Rule, he wouldnʼt be able to enter the top three in the ranking.

ʼSo be it ... .as long as I win this match, I will be in the top 5; otherwise, it will be at the bottom of the rankings.ʼ

With that thought in mind, the Void Dragonling decided to use the skill connected to his Divine Rune.

[Infinite Void Slashes]

Soon, the Void Dragonlingʼs body flickered as he became fully confident in his attack; however, to his surprise, he saw Twilight sitting on the ground with his eyes closed without doing anything.

ʼDid he give up on the fight?ʼ
