New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1768 Second Duel

Once the rankings were updated, everyone became interested in Twilight because as long as they could challenge him and defeat him, they would get nearly 20,000 low-level Darkfire Crystals.

Except for Ryan and Lynn, all the participants were able to farm the Darkfire Crystals ranging from 2000-5000 on the first day of the trial.

Hence, as long as they could defeat Twilight, they would get 4-5 days worth of low-level Darkfire Crystals just by defeating Twilight which would save them a lot of time.

Nevertheless, finding a Divine Dragon Flag would take quite some time and hence, most of the participants focused on farming the Darkfire Crystals while a few participants could not wait to find the Divine Dragon Flag to challenge Twilight.

Time continued to pass and in a flash, more than half of the second day of the trial was completed.

Since most of the Divine Dragons were Emperor Realm Spirit Beasts, they wouldnʼt be tired that easily and could fight for more than a week or a month depending on the energy they spent in their fights.

As everyone had their own goals to achieve in the trial, they didnʼt dare to take a rest except for Twilight who was waiting for someone to find the Divine Dragon Flag and challenge him.

[The Poison Dragonling has found a Divine Dragon Flag and issued a challenge to Twilight]

[The Void Dragonling has found a Divine Dragon Flag]

Suddenly, two announcements resounded in the world and Twilight was both happy and sad at the same time.

He was happy because finally, someone found a Divine Dragon Flag and even challenged him; however, there was another participant who found the Divine Dragon Flag.

ʼI hope he wonʼt challenge anyone until I finish the match with the Poison Dragonling.ʼ

This was what Twilight thought in his head as he heard another announcement.

[Since Twilight Dragonling has already fought a match yesterday, he could reject all the duels that are challenging him]

ʼHuh? I can reject the challenges?ʼ

Twilight was surprised for a moment before muttering, ʼThere is no way, I will reject any duels that were coming to me.ʼ

”I accept the duel.”

Without wasting any time, he agreed to the challenge.

ʼSwooshʼ

In the next second, his body disappeared from the trial world as it appeared in the world where Poison Dragonling was standing.

[The duel between the Poison Dragonling and the Twilight Dragonling will begin in five minutes. Please prepare yourself]

Like yesterday, both the fighters were given five minutes to prepare and Twilight used the time to collect the information on the participant.

[Heavenly Dragon Insights]

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as he used his skills, Twilight received information about the Poison Dragonling from his Ancient Memories.

…

Dragon Race: Poison Dragonling.

Bloodline: None.

Divine Rule: Divine Poison Rule (1 percent)

Duration: one minute.

Skills: Poison Touch, Poison Dragon Breath, Golden Poison Armour, Silent Poison Dart….

….

Maybe because the Posion Dragonlingʼs cultivation was weaker than his, Twilight was able to get a lot of information on the Poison Dragonling compared to the Primordial Dragonling.

However, since the Poison Dragonling has awakened the Divine Rule, he was much more powerful than the Primordial Dragon.

ʼSince Divine Rule is an ultimate move for all the participants in the trial, he wonʼt use it right away and thatʼs how I am going to win the fight.ʼ

In a fight, as long as one has the information on his opponent, it would become a lot easier to win the match even if the other opponent has some deadly trump cards.

The deadly trump card that Poison Dragonling has is none other than Divine Poison Rule; however, he wonʼt be using it unless the situation demands it because, the moment he uses the Divine Rule, he wonʼt have any trump cards for the rest of the trial.

Even though Twilight also has a Divine Rule that is more powerful than the Poison Dragonling, it would be the same for him as he could not use it recklessly just to win a duel.

However, thanks to the Heavenly Dragon Insights, Twilight knows all the trump cards that the Poison Dragonling has which could give him an absolute advantage.

[The duel between the Poison Dragonling and the Twilight Dragonling has started]

Soon, the five-minute preparation time for the duel was completed as the voice asked them to fight.

[Poison Bomb]

It was not just Twilight who prepared during the 5-minute preparation time, even Poison Dragonling also prepared himself.

Hence, as soon he heard the voice, the Poison Dragonling didnʼt waste any time as he used one of the powerful attacks.

ʼSwooshʼ

Twilight was quick with his wings as he hurriedly flew into the sky to dodge the poison bomb.

”Do you think you are the only one with the wings?”

The Poison Dragonling chuckled a little as two grey wings appeared on his back as he flew into the sky.

”What? You have wings?”

Twilight was not really surprised because he already knew that the Poison Dragonling had wings and could fly with him.

However, he made everyone believe that he was surprised to see the wings on the Poison Dragon.

Not all dragons will have wings and even with their wings, they were dragons that could not fly.

”Where will you run off to now?”

The Poison Dragonling was a little happy when he saw the surprised look on Twilightʼs face as he decided to use another one of his powerful attacks to injure Twilight.

[Triple Twilight Cannon]

However, Twilight was early as he used one of his powerful attacks on the Poison Dragon.

”Your attacks are useless if they are slow.”

Even though the Poison Dragonling said that he could sense that the incoming energy orb was dangerous and could severely injure him if he was not careful.

[Golden Poison Armour]

Hence, he used one of his powerful defensive moves and successfully blocked the attack.

”Is this all you got? If so, you are…”

[Dark Destruction Blast]

However, before the Poison Dragonling could finish his words, he saw Twilight appear right in front of him as a black-coloured energy beam blasted him off into the distance.
