New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1755 Demonic Absorption

Among all the Giant Crystals, there were two crystals that Ajax was able to accumulate 100 million. They are Giant Dark Crystals and the Giant Fire Crystals.

The Darkfire Crystals are the most basic and readily available crystals on the worlds that were on the outskirts of the Dark Region.

Even though Ajax could only extract 30 percent of Giant Fire Crystals from them, he was able to extract the 30 percent from Waterfire Crystals, Jadefire Crystals and mixed crystals.

ʼIn the future, for any transaction, I should only use the Giant Fire Crystals or the Giant Dark Crystals.ʼ

When most of the Giant Crystals he had were around 100000, Ajax decided to spend only the Giant Crystals that he had in huge quantities.

ʼHowever, itʼs too bad that I was unable to get my hands on the  rare crystals like Plant Crystals, Thunder Crystals, and Death Crystals.ʼ

Looking at the list of the Divine Rules that he awakened, Ajax silently thought to himself.

ʼDing,

1) Divine Thunder Rule (10 percent).

2) Divine Flame Rule (20 percent) (18 percent sealed).

3) Divine Dark Rule (20 percent).

4) Divine Death Rule (1 percent).

5) Divine Plant Rule (1 percent).

6) Divine Jade Rule (20 percent).

7) Divine Demon Rule (1 percent)

So far, Ajax had awakened seven Divine Rules and he was confident of awakening many more with the help of the Sentient Flames.

However, he knew that awakening the Divine Rules was not a problem for him; however, the problem is increasing the awakening percentage.

ʼAnyway, I should continue to work hard and slowly increase the ascending percentage after converting my cultivation.ʼ

Compared to increasing his awakening percentage of the Divine Rules, Ajax had an even bigger issue and it was his cultivation.

Without his cultivation, he wonʼt be able to increase the awakening percentage of his Divine Rules and even if he did, it would be sealed.

ʼLetʼs increase the awakening percentage of the Divine Demon Rule.ʼ

With a thought, Ajax a bunch of Giant Demon Crystals appeared in Ajaxʼs head which he used on his Divine Demon Rule.

ʼDing,

The host has used 55 Gian Demon Crystals to increase the awakening percentage of the Divine Demon Rule to 20 percent.

ʼNow, I need to keep an eye on the Giant Crystals that can increase the awakening percentage for Divine Thunder Rule, Divine Death Rule and Divine Plant Rule.ʼ

Among the Divine Rules that Ajax awakened, these three were the lowest and at the same time, Ajax didnʼt have the Giant Crystals to increase their awakening percentage.

ʼI can only use the World Cores; however, I donʼt want to use the World Cores yet.ʼ

Even though Ajax still has 5 Greater World Cores other than a Divine World Core that he merged, Ajax didnʼt want to use the Greater World Cores to increase the awakening percentage.

It was because he was worried that he might find the Giant Crystals for those three Divine Rules soon.

Moreover, once Ajax successfully converted his regular spirit cultivation into Divine Spirit Cultivation, he wanted to break through to the mid-level Emperor Realm as soon as possible.

ʼAccording to my guess, the next breakthrough also requests at least one Divine World Core. So, I should be prepared for it.ʼ

With multiple reasons in mind, Ajax didnʼt take out the Greater World Cores.

ʼAnyway, letʼs see what kind of changes the Divine Demonic Rule has gotten in it.ʼ

Putting aside his thoughts regarding those things, Ajax focused on the Divine Demonic Rule.

ʼDing,

  Divine Rule: Demon (20 percent).

Effect: Upon activation of the Divine Demon Rule, the awakener could communicate with the Ascended Beings from the Heavenly Demon Realm.

Note: The higher the awakening percentage, the stronger the Ascended Demons and more number of Ascended Demons, the awakener could communicate with.

  Skill: Demonic Absorption.

Skill Information: By killing others, be it a human, a spirit beast or a demon, the rule awakener can partially absorb the remaining life span.

Note: The stronger the killed being, the more lifespan can be absorbed.

ʼHuh? Communication with the Ascended Demons?ʼ

Ajax was pleasantly surprised to see the effect of the Divine Demon Rule as he was not expecting such an effect to appear.

If it appeared as a skill, Ajax would have not surprised much; however, it was a basic effect.

ʼIt means that as long as the Demons awaken the Divine Demon Rule, they could directly communicate with the Ascended Demons.ʼ

Communicating with the Ascended Beings was not easy and at the same time, it was not hard either…at least for the descendants of those Ascended Beings.

According to what Ajax learned from Draven, the ascended beings could leave some statues or things with their spirit imprints on them.

Once they settled and became powerful enough, they could communicate with their descendants using the spirit imprints that they left behind.

However, after seeing that the basic effect of the Divine Demon Rule lets the awakeners communicate with the Ascended Demons, Ajax was shocked.

ʼUnlike the Human Region and the Dragon Region, the Demon Region was quite weak and in the Golden Demon Territory, no one had awakened the Divine Demon Rule yet.ʼ

Even though Ajax didnʼt know much about the previous Great Golden Demon Emperor that was killed by the destruction of a Normal World, he assumed that he had awakened the Divine Demon Rule.

According to Wingo, the previous demon emperor was much more powerful than Wingo and Wingo could be considered invincible among those who were yet to awaken the Divine Rule.

So, it would make sense for the previous demon emperor to have a Divine Demon Rule.

ʼIf so, then the other four Greater Demon Emperors will also have awakened the Divine Rules.ʼ

From Wingo, Ajax learned that the Golden Demon Emperor was quite weak among the other Greater Demon Emperors and the only reason why the previous demon emperor was able to keep them in check was because of a Special Mythical Grade Artifact.

ʼIf my guess is correct, the previous Golden Demon Emperor might have received that Special Mythical Grade Artifact from the Ascended Demon.ʼ
