Chapter 1367 Merging the cultivatorʼs souls

With the sudden increase in Westinʼs battle prowess, Ajax didnʼt have any plans to give up on saving Westin; instead, his determination to save Westin increased even more.

With a powerful cultivator like Westin on his side, their chances of defeating the demons would increase by another level.

ʼThis is getting interesting.ʼ

Ajax felt the current situation was interesting where he had to defeat a powerful mid-level king realm cultivator; however, at the same time, he should be careful not to kill him in the process.

Ajax liked to have challenges and saving Westin is one of those challenges where he should not give up without giving his all.

”Cultivatorʼs souls, merge.”

Even though Westinʼs body was completely covered in injuries, he didnʼt show any pained expression on his face as he shouted all out.

ʼWhat? He is going to merge his cultivatorʼs souls?ʼ

When Ajax heard Westinʼs shout, he was shocked as he hurriedly looked at the two cultivatorʼs souls behind Westin which were slowly merging together.

”I canʼt give him any time to merge his cultivatorʼs souls.”

Fighting two cultivatorʼs souls is already a difficult thing for Ajax and if those two cultivatorʼs souls merge together, then Ajax would have no hope of defeating Westin.

So, he decided not to give any time for Westin to successfully merge the cultivatorʼs souls.

ʼLooks like I have to increase my cultivation now.ʼ

Even though Ajaxʼs demonic form was very powerful, it was not invisible because of his low-cultivation. So, the first thing he thought of was to increase his own cultivation.

ʼSystem, I want to use all the normal world cores in my possession to increase my cultivation.ʼ

Even though Ajax didnʼt have many world cores in the inventory, it was not small either. So, he was confident that after using all the world cores in his possession, he would be able to defeat Westin.

ʼDing,

Do you want to merge all the smaller world cores?

ʼYes.ʼ

Ajax nodded his head as he gave permission to the system to merge the smaller world cores.

Even though he could directly use the smaller world cores to increase his cultivation; instead of merging them into normal world cores before using them, Ajax didnʼt want to do it.

Because the battle prowess gained by using the normal world cores is way better than the battle prowess gained by using the smaller world cores to increase the cultivation realm.

ʼIf I had time, I would have used Greater world cores to increase my cultivation realm; however, it needs 100 smaller world cores to merge into a single greater world core.ʼ

Ajax thought about how difficult it is to produce a single great world core and shook his head.

Actually, if Ajax had a few high-level king realm elemental spirits or the contracted spirit beasts, he could start conquering the normal worlds as it would only take 10 normal world cores to produce one greater world core.

However, he still didnʼt reach the level where he could storm into a normal world and take its normal world core.

ʼI should be content with using normal world cores to increase my cultivation. By the time, I become a peak elite general realm, my elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts would become even more powerful, then it will be easier for me to conquer a normal world.ʼ

Generally, Ajax likes to be greedy; however, when it comes to conquering the normal world, he was suppressing it and waiting for him to become fully confident in conquering a normal world.

ʼDing,

Merging all the smaller world cores into normal world cores.

ʼDing,

Adding together with the existing normal world cores, the host has a total of five normal world cores.

ʼDing,

Do you want to use them all to increase your cultivation to level 7 elite general realm?

As Ajax was thinking about world cores and all, he received a series of system notifications in his head.

ʼFive level increment in my cultivation is not a bad thing.ʼ

After a quick glance at the system notifications, Ajax nodded his head as he used all the normal world cores in his inventory.

For him, defeating Westin is the second topmost priority. So, he didnʼt have to think much about using all his world cores in increasing his cultivation.

ʼDing,

Five normal world cores are consumed.

Ding,

The hostʼs cultivation will be increased from level 2 elite general realm to level 7 elite general realm. If there is any pain, please bear with the pain.

Soon, the five normal world cores in Ajaxʼs inventory disappeared as he felt his spirit consciousness was forcefully expanding by some mysterious force.

ʼHere comes the pain.ʼ

Ajax already got used to the pain that comes from increasing his cultivation through the world cores. So, he steeled his nerves as he waited for the process to complete.

ʼThe merging between the cultivatorʼs souls is a lot slower than I thought.ʼ

As he is using the world cores to increase his cultivation, Ajax didnʼt forget to check the merging of Westinʼs cultivatorʼs souls.

Even after a few minutes, the cultivatorʼs souls only merged by around 25 percent, making Ajax heave a sigh of relief.

ʼAt this rate, I will finish increasing my cultivation and defeat Westin before he could finish merging his cultivatorʼs soul.ʼ

Even though it seemed like Ajax could absorb the special demonic energy from Westin, Ajax felt it would be dangerous to go near Westin in his current state.

So, he wanted to increase his cultivation before he could do anything to Westin.

Right now, both Westin and Ajax were competing with each other against time. The one who completes the preparation of their trump card first would have a high chance of defeating their opponent.

ʼLooks like he is also preparing for the final blow.ʼ

Westin also looked at Ajax and silently thought to himself before increasing the speed of merging between the cultivatorʼs souls.

ʼFaster…faster.ʼ

Westin gritted his teeth as he urged his cultivatorʼs souls to merge as soon as possible.
