New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1355 Choice based quest

Other than the three protectors who were keeping all demon kings in their place, the heads of various powerful sects and the families were also showcasing their skills.

ʼEven though they are powerful, they are nowhere as powerful as the three protectors.ʼ

However, no one piqued Ajaxʼs interest other than the three protectors.

Nevertheless, he was still looking for some cultivators who could become his subordinates in the future.

ʼHuh?ʼ

As he was checking for the cultivators who could become his subordinates, Ajaxʼs gaze fell on someone, making him raise his brows.

ʼThat energy…why does it feel familiar?ʼ

In the distance, there was a middle-aged king realm cultivator who was killing all the demons in his way regardless of their strength.

Even the mid-level demon kings were killed in a single slash whereas the high-level demon kings were severely injured by his attacks.

However, the reason why Ajax raised his eyebrows was not because of the battle prowess of the middle-aged cultivator; instead, he saw black energy that was surrounding the middle-aged man.

That middle-aged man was none other than Westin, who was frustrated at the talented cultviators.

ʼIs that the same special demon energy I got from the demonic fox tribe leader?ʼ

Because Ajax was very far from Westin, he was not completely sure; however, looking at the black energy, he guessed it might have the same special demonic energy in his body.

ʼShould I move closer to him and check it out?ʼ

Ajax knew that if it was really the special demonic energy, he could not ignore it. So, he thought of moving closer to Westin to confirm his guess regarding the black demonic energy around Westin.

ʼDing,

….

Just as Ajax thought of moving closer to Westin, a system notification rang in his head that made him pause in his steps.

Ajax had turned off the system notifications for the kill log. So, he knew that the system notification was important.

ʼDing,

A special choice based quest has been generated. Please check it and make a decision.

ʼHuh? Choice-based quest? A special mission?ʼ

It was Ajaxʼs first time receiving such a quest and instantly became curious about it before checking out the special mission.

ʼBefore that, I need to clear these demons.ʼ

As Ajax relaxed a little too much in checking the performance of all the human cultivators, the demons around him had already closed in on him. So, he decided to clear the demons around him before checking out the new mission.

ʼDing,

Special choice based quest.

Scenario:- A human is looked down, mocked and bullied throughout his life. One day, he received special demon energy from an unnamed inheritance grounds which made him develop hatred towards those who looked down on him and those who are born with good talent.

ʼDing,

Quest:-1. Kill the human.

Reward:- World core roulette (Three chances), a normal world core.

Description:- The human was barely maintaining his consciousness and the moment he loses his consciousness, he will become an insane cultivator who will kill anyone he sees.

ʼDing,

Quest:-2. Save the human.

Reward:- World core roulette (Three chances), Upgrade in hostʼs demonic form.

Description:- Even though he was bullied and mocked his entire life, he never harmed human cultivators. Even now, he was keeping his consciousness from turning into an insane being.

ʼDing,

Quest:3. Make him into a slave.

Reward:- World core roulette (Three chances), Complete battle equipment for the master and the slave.

Description:- Since the human is above the get devoured by the special demonic energy, he will become a different being without any intelligence. So, turn him into a slave who follows his masterʼs orders without any hesitation.

Note:- The host can make him a slave by leaving three spirit marks in his spirit consciousness; however, it is very dangerous for the host as he might become a mindless being in the process.

ʼDing,

Please pick only one mission and complete it to receive the mentioned rewards.

As he opened the special choice based mission, a series of system notifications appeared in his sight.

ʼHuh? Three choices?ʼ

Ajax had already guessed it from the name of the quest type; however, he was still surprised to see three quests with different possibilities.

ʼLooks like the system is adapting to do things my way.ʼ

This was the first thought that came to his mind when he saw the three choices he had in front of him.

Until now, Ajax didnʼt have any choice and he had to complete the mission given by the system whether he liked it or not.

Otherwise, he would receive penalties if he opposed the system; however, right now, looking at the three missions with different possibilities, Ajax felt excited because he could pick whatever mission he wanted now.

ʼGive me some breakʼ

ʼSlashʼ

ʼSlashʼ

Ajax didnʼt forget to swing his inheritance sword at the incoming demons as he complained that they should give him some time to make his choice among the three quests in front of him.

ʼSince I cleared the demons, I can carefully check each mission.ʼ

After clearing the demons around him, Ajax once again started checking out the quests to pick one among them.

ʼFirst quest is out.ʼ

After reading the scenario, Ajax directly eliminated the first mission because he felt pity for Weston and it would be really unfair for Westin if he killed him.

ʼEven though turning him into a slave gives me good rewards, I donʼt like it.ʼ

Ajax didnʼt want to make Westin into a slave just because he was offered more rewards from the system.

Moreover, it is very risky to turn Westin into a slave. So, Ajax rejected another quest without thinking much, leaving him with only one quest.

ʼSaving a human? It is what I want to do.ʼ

Ajax wanted to save Westin and help him clear the misunderstanding he was having towards the talented cultivators.

ʼMoreover, if he learns how to control that special demonic energy, he would become even more powerful.ʼ

Ajaxʼs eyes shone with a glint when he thought about it.
