New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1273 - Uncle Dralf

Once he got the confirmation from Ajax that nothing would happen to the eight young barbarians, Darbaudr just glanced at them with a bitter smile on his face and guided Ajax to meet the owner of this secret realm.

The young barbariansʼ groans lessened with time; however, they still experienced pains and nightmares. Moreover, even if the nightmares and pains disappeared, they would need to take at least a couple of hours of rest before standing on their feet.

”Young master, this is my uncle Dralf. Uncle Dralf, he is the one who saved me in the Zrochester province and helped me in recovering my cultivation.”

Soon, Darbaudr introduced Ajax to the old barbarian whose body was filled with scars.

”Oh.”

Uncle Dralfʼs first expression after seeing Ajax beside Darbaudr was a shock because Darbaudr hated the humans to the core and as long as there was even a small conflict with humans, he would fight them and kill them without any hesitation.

So, seeing that Darbaudr was respectfully guiding a human to his residence, Dralf could not help but get shocked.

Nevertheless, he was able to guess Ajaxʼs identity even before Darbaudr could say how he met Ajax.

”Thanks a lot, human, for saving my nephew,”

Dralf bowed to Ajax and thanked him from the bottom of his heart.

Even though Dralf also didnʼt have much of a good impression on humans, he was not someone who didnʼt mind thanking those who helped him, whether it is a human or any other race.

”Itʼs nothing.”

Ajax shook his head as he only saved Darbaudr because he was immature at that time and could not handle seeing a slave for the first time.

However, after he broke the slave crystal, Darbaudr didnʼt leave him and enjoy his life freely; instead, he swore to protect Ajax.

”How can it be nothing? You saved the lineage of the battle barbarianʼs tribe by saving him. Without him, those that are left in our tribe would die eventually.”

Dralf was emotional as he thanked Ajax again and again.

”...”

Ajax was speechless as he didnʼt expect to see such an emotional barbarian in his life.

”By the way, if you donʼt mind me asking you, how did you get into this secret realm? Even King realm cultivators would have a hard time finding it, not to mention entering it.”

As the owner of this secret realm, Dralf knew how much he had invested in the defence of the secret realm.

Without his permission, no one can enter it;? however, not only did Ajax enter the secret realm but he was completely clueless about it.

So, he asked in order to find whether there were any flaws in the barrier such that he could cover those flaws.

”It is just an artifact from my master that helps me pass through the barrier.”

Ajax said something as he changed the topic in the next moment, ”Darbaudr, didnʼt you say your entire family is destroyed?”

When he freed Darbaudr, the barbarian mentioned that his entire tribe was massacred by a demon apostle and his army. So, he asked about it since obviously a few of his tribesmen were still alive.

”I was not sure whether they were alive or not until today, young master.”

Darbaudr knew what Ajax was thinking as he explained, ”I hoped Uncle Dralf and his 10 disciples will be alive as I risked my life so that they can escape; however, there were so many demons that it was almost impossible to escape.” So, I assumed they were caught by the demons.”

”Nevertheless, I didnʼt give up and the moment I entered the Ylercester province, I can came the only place Uncle Dralf would hide if the successfully escaped from the demons and thatʼs how I learned uncle Dralf and all his disciples were alive and well.”

Even though Darbaudr was sad for losing an entire tribe, he was happy that at least a few of them were able to successfully escape from the demons.

”As long as there is someone alive in my tribe, revenge can be taken slowly.”

Darbaudr clenched his fists as he said those words.

”Donʼt worry. I will take you to the demon worlds to take your revenge.”

Ajax promised Darbaudr to take him along for his next mission to massacre the demons.

”I am waiting for that day, young master.”

Darbaudr already knew that Ajaxʼs master helps him go to the other worlds on some specific missions and hearing Ajaxʼs promise, Darbaudr was excited as he could explore the demon worlds and dedicated his entire life to killing the demons.

”What?”

Dralf looked at Ajax with a shocked look on his face.

”Yes, the young masterʼs master is so powerful that he could open portals to the other worlds so that, the young master can complete some missions in those worlds.”

Darbaudr was a little excited as he explained Ajaxʼs background.

”You can travel between the worlds?”

As for Uncle Dralf, he kept on getting one shock after another that made his heart almost burst with shocks.

First, Darbaudr acknowledged a human as his master.

Second, that human can enter his secret realm without his permission.

Another crazy thing is that a human had a powerful master who could casually send him to other worlds on missions.

”So, where is the contest held?”

After discussing a few more things, Ajax asked Darbaudr about the contest.

”What? Young Master, you still havenʼt registered your name?”

Darbaudr was shocked for a moment and hurriedly stood up from his chair, ”Letʼs go right now. There is still an hour to complete the registration for the contest.”

”What? There is a registration for the contest?”

Ajax was a little surprised and nodded his head; however, he looked at the old barbarian and said, ”Let me heal your uncle first and then letʼs go.”

As a Sacred Astral Healer, Ajax could tell with a glance that Uncle Dralfʼs spirit consciousness and soul were corroded and could not live for long. So, he decided to heal him before going for the registration.
