New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1271 - A Small Group Of Barbarians

ʼFailure was not an option.ʼ

The spatial elemental spirit is determined to learn a spatial law and enter the secret realm at any cost.

He even informed Ajax to be careful as there might be king realm cultivators in the secret realm.

...

Inside the secret realm.

ʼLooks like it is a secret realm.ʼ

Ajax could sense the pure essence of nature after passing through the barrier. It was even purer than the essence of nature of the Ylerecester province.

Other than a secret realm, no other thing could have something like that.

ʼThere are some buildings over there.ʼ

As he walked around and checked the secret realm, Ajax saw a dozen normal looking buildings in the distance.

ʼI think they might like me entering their secret realm without proper invitation. It is better to stay alert. Also, it might be even better if I contact Darbaudr.ʼ

Ajax didnʼt go towards the building; instead, he tried to communicate with the barbarian.

Since they were both in the same province, Ajax knew he could easily communicate with Darbaudr and contacted him without wasting any time.

”Who are you?”

”How did you get into this secret realm?”

Just as Ajax was about to communicate with Darbaudr, two angry voices came from his left side as he saw a group of barbarians looking at him angrily.

They were two meters tall with two sharp teeth protruding out of their mouths. Their bodies were completely in the fire brick shade of red colour.

Coming to their weapons, only two of them were carrying two huge halberds on their backs and the rest were not carrying anything.

However, the noticeable thing about them was, they were wearing battle armour which was rare for the barbarians to wear.

”Me? My name is Ajax and I came here for Darbaudr.”

Looking at the group of barbarians, Ajax guessed they might be Darbaudrʼ tribesmen. So, he calmly replied to the barbarians.

”Huh?”

Hearing Ajaxʼs words, the two barbarians that were carrying the halberds raised their brows.

”How do you know the tribe head?”

In the next, the barbarians surrounded Ajax as they seriously looked at Ajax with full killing intent in their eyes.

”Huh?”

Ajax was shocked to see why they were so furious compared to before all of a sudden. Nevertheless, he asked, ”I guess you are not believing my words. I wonder what I should do to make you believe my words.”

Since this group of barbarians called Darbaudr ʼTribe headʼ, Ajax knew they were obviously Darbaudrʼs tribesmen. So, he didnʼt want to fight them unnecessarily.

If possible, he wanted to solve the misunderstanding between him and the group of barbarians.

”Just answer my questions first.”

One of the two leaders of the small group walked forward as he asked Ajax, ”How did you enter this secret realm.”

ʼOh. They are more worried about how I got into this secret realm.ʼ

Ajax could understand their worry because if some random stranger comes into your home, will you host them?

Of course, you will question them.

Whatʼs more, entering into a secret realm is much harder than entering into a home. So, they were even emitting killing intent while asking their first question.

”I have the ability to pass through the barrier.”

Even though he was completely surrounded, Ajax was not at all worried about it because the highest cultivation of the two barbarians who seemed like leaders of the group was only level 5 elite general realm.

As for the rest of the barbarians, they were all level 1 and level 2 elite general realm cultivators.

ʼHuh?ʼ

Even though Ajaxʼs reply surprised them and didnʼt convince them completely, they proceeded to ask another question.

”So, why did you enter this secret realm?”

”I already said that I came here looking for Darbaudr,” Ajax replied nonchalantly as he observed the surroundings.

”Stop calling the tribe head by his head. And even if you come for him, he will kill you the moment he sees you. Are you sure you still want to see him?”

Seeing how calm and nonchalant Ajax was, the two halberd holding barbarians were a little surprised and felt something was amiss but still they continued to ask their questions.

”Nope. He will not do it; instead, he will bow to me….”

”How dare you say such insolent words about our tribe head.”

Before Ajax could finish his words, the two barbarians rushed towards Ajax and swung their halberds at Ajax.

For them, Darbaudr was their idol and they want to become like him someday. So, when they heard Ajax say that their idol would bow in front of a young human with only level 2 elite general realm cultivation, they could not control their anger and wanted to hack Ajax into pieces.

”Okay. Now, it looks like the calm-talk is not going to work. I need to use force.”

Ajax shook his head and stopped the two halberds with his two hands as he spoke to the two barbarians.

ʼWhat?ʼ

All the barbarians were shocked when they saw how easily Ajax stopped the two heaven grade weapons from their bosses.

However, when they heard Ajaxʼs words, they became even more angry.

”Sorry for what you are you going see and feel for the next few minutes.”

”Absolute darkness”

As soon as he finished those words, he activated his skill and all barbarians were covered in a black-coloured aura emitted by Ajax for a moment before falling to the ground.

ʼAarghʼ

ʼDamn it…what is this?ʼ

ʼWhatʼs happening to me?ʼ

.

.

All barbarians started witnessing the nightmares and started feeling pain all over their body which made them groan.

ʼI only used less than ten percent of ʼAbsolute darknessʼ and they are already feeling so much pain. Looks like I can even kill the cultivators with high-level cultivatorʼs law.ʼ

Ajax silently muttered to himself and stretched his body a little.

”While you enjoy my gift, I will call Darbaudr.”

Looking at the group of barbarians, Ajax shook his head as he tried to communicate with Darbaudr.
