New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1258 - Weapon Skill:- Golden Barrier

ʼLetʼs see how it is going to save you now? Your summoner?ʼ

The golden demon kingʼs powers had almost reached the King realm after using some transformation pill. So, he was confident in killing the two elemental spirits along with other spirit beasts.

Actually, no one was his match because his original strength was high-level king realm and even after sealing his cultivation, he broke through the limits to increase his powers closer to the king realm.

If not for two auxiliary elemental spirits, it would have been even terrible for the spirit beast army.

”Now, die.”

The golden demon king felt he had already wasted enough time against them and decided to kill the elemental spirit beasts and the spirit beasts behind them.

”Everyone, letʼs attack together.”

However, Nameless cultivator who was currently in charge of the spirit beasts behind him shouted giving his full support to the two elemental spirits.

Even without their help, the two elemental spirits fought very well against the demon king. So, Nameless cultivator thought as long as they fight together they would win against the golden demon king.

”Haha…you think you can defeat me? In your dreams.”

As soon as he finish his words, the golden demon king started laughing as he shouted, ʼDemon staffʼ

A long golden coloured staff appeared in his head as he swung it at the group of spirit beasts that were blasted away.

”Did you see that? I can kill you with a single swing of my rod.”

The golden demon king was content with his simple attack as he praised himself.

”If you swallow these pills, I will let you…Puchi”

Looking at Nameless cultivator, two auxiliary elemental spirits and a large group of spirit beasts, the golden demon king was saying something; however, before he could finish his words, a huge sword came out of his chest.

ʼThudʼ

That golden demon king didnʼt even know who killed him as his lifeless body fell to the ground.

”Master”

”Summoning master.”

Nameless cultivators and others were excited to see Ajax who came to their rescue at the right time and hurriedly greeted him.

”You did well. All spirit beasts can go back to your territories and rest well. Your battle is over.”

Ajax nodded his head as he looked at the large group of injured spirit beasts and ordered them to return.

Since all the low-level demons were already taken care of, Ajax knew that these spirit beasts would only come in his way while fighting the other golden demon kings and the demon apostle.

”Yes, Master Ajax.”

As Ajax was the master of their leaders, he would be a master for them too. So, everyone nodded their heads as they returned to their territories.

ʼPuchiʼ

As they were leaving, Ajax pulled his inheritance sword out of the dead golden demon kingʼs body.

ʼDing,

The inheritance sword gained a skill ʼGolden barrierʼ from killing the golden demon king.

ʼHuh? Gained a skill already? Isnʼt it just a one percent chance of gaining such abilities?ʼ

Ajax was shocked as he looked at the huge sword in his hand.

ʼDing,

Weapon name:- Unknown (Inheritance sword).

Grade:- High-level legend grade.

Effect:- 1) It can pierce through the defence of anyone below the emperor realm.

2) 1 percent chance of gaining one of the skills of the targets killed by it.

Skill:- Golden barrier.

Skill description:- A golden barrier forms around the user for five minutes that could block all attacks of a low-level king realm cultivator and below realm cultivators.

Soon, the holographic screen appeared in front of him with the complete information on the inheritance sword.

Ajax had already seen it; however, he didnʼt think much about the second effect and he was very content with the first effect of ʼIgnore defenceʼ of anyone below the emperor realm.

ʼIt is a pretty useful skill.ʼ

Ajax nodded his head and closed the system window in front of him as he looked at the two auxiliary elemental spirits and Nameless cultivator who were injured a little bit severely.

ʼDing,

Used three units of the Sacred Astral Energy

Even though it was not severe enough to kill them, it would take quite a bit of time to recover on their own. So, he used the Sacred Astral Energy to heal them.

”Thank you, master.”

The three of them felt their hearts warm when they saw that their master used a valuable energy ʼSacred Astral Energyʼ to heal them. So, they could not help but thank them.

”Letʼs go. We still have a few golden demon kings to take care of.”

Ajax didnʼt waste any time as he rushed towards the other elemental spirits and the spirit beast armies that needed his help.

…

ʼWhat the…ʼ

However, the remaining three golden demon kings were killed by his elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts along with the help of other spirit beast kings.

”Brother Ajax, did you see that. I killed that powerful demon king.”

The primitive ape king, as usual, sought Ajaxʼs attention as he proudly informed Ajax about his achievement.

”Yes, master. He killed the golden demon king on his own.”

The other elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts nodded their heads, agreeing to the primitive ape kingʼs words.

”Good. I know I can rely on you.”

Ajax praised the primitive ape king with a slight smile on his face.

Even without any bestial law, the primitive ape king of able to defeat two of the spirit beast kings with bestial laws. Now, the primitive ape king had awakened a bestial law and of course, Ajax knew he could rely on him.

Thatʼs the reason why he arrived late at the place where Primitive ape king was stationed as he knew the ape king could take care of the golden demon king.

”So, what shall we do now?”

The primitive ape king was happy to hear Ajaxʼs praise and asked about their next task.

”Itʼs time to fight more demon kings.”

With a slight smile, Ajax looked in the direction of the Mercenary Guild.
