New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 888: Accepting the inner demon

ʼWhat?ʼ

As for Errol, he was standing there with his mouth wide open because he didnʼt understand the reason why he should not stay with his son.

When Ajax asked about Errolʼs plans, he said that he wanted to move out of the five elemental world but he was indirectly saying that he was going to follow Ajax because there were two reasons.

One, there is nothing left for him in the five elemental world as his entire tribe was destroyed by the fire base with the help of the fox tribes.

Two, he didnʼt want to get separated from his son because his son is the only reason why he was living.

However, after hearing Ancestor Caldenʼs suggestion, Errol fell into a dilemma whether to follow Ajax or go separate ways?

ʼThere must be a reason why Ancestor Calden suggested that I should not stay with my son. As long as it is helpful in unlocking my sonʼs potential, I will follow that suggestion.ʼ

After thinking for a few moments, Errol looked at his son who was oblivious of the last words between Errol and Ancestor Calden and came to the conclusion of not following Ajax.

ʼI will stay here and build my strength and resurrect my tribe.ʼ

Soon, Errol decided and became resolved to rebuild his tribe.

”Swoosh”

As for the others like the elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts, as soon as Ancestor Calden disappeared from his place, the cultivation pressure that was immobilizing them from moving disappeared. So, they rushed towards Ajax to check on him.

The tribe leader Deon went back to his tribesmen and explained everything.

ʼWoah. So, he is really our ancestor.ʼ

ʼHe is so young and handsome.ʼ

All the tribesmen were excited because they finally saw their ancestor because their ancestorʼs age was more than a couple of millennia.

ʼHey, look. The destroyed ancestorʼs statute is back again.ʼ

All of a sudden, one of the tribesmen pointed at the usual place where their ancestorʼs statue used to be placed, there was a new and shining statue appeared.

”Everyone, you can go back and do your work.”

As for the tribe leader Deon, he was not surprised by the statue after seeing what his ancestor was capable of doing.

ʼEarlier, just with a single word, he immobilized everyone in the surroundings and what would happen if he used full force?ʼ

This was the only thought in the tribe leader Deonʼs head.

ʼSo, should I follow him or not?ʼ

Next, he looked at the unconscious Ajax who was currently surrounded by his summons and thought about his ancestorʼs suggestion.

...

While the tribe leader Deon was thinking about his ancestorʼs suggestion, in the endless space, two Ajaxs were fighting one another.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼIf you donʼt accept me, you are going to die soon.ʼ

With a kick, the demonized Ajax replied to the normal Ajax.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼAs I said earlier, I never enjoyed killing as you showed on the mirror screen.ʼ

The normal Ajax returned the favour with a kick just like the demonized Ajax before replying to him.

ʼHahaʼ

Hearing his reply, the demonized Ajax laughed as he stopped fighting before maintaining a sufficient distance from him.

”With that attitude ofo yours, you are going to die.”

The demonized Ajax scoffed at Ajax and didnʼt continue fighting again because he was annoyed that Ajax was too stubborn.

Actually, the thing is as long as Ajax didnʼt accept that he enjoyed killing others like the assassin disciples and demons, he would be consumed by the special demonic energy of the tribe leader Deon.

However, if he accepted the demonized Ajax, then both Ajax could be integrated into one entity.

Moreover, by doing so, Ajax would have the power to use the special demonic energy to temper his body without any problem.

But the problem is, the special demonic energy in Ajaxʼs body makes things harder for Ajax to understand that they were a single entity.

So, instead of saying that it was normal for Ajax to fight the demonized Ajax, it could be said that the demonized Ajax was literally begging the normal Ajax to open his eyes to see the truth.

ʼTingʼ

When the demonized Ajax was losing hope because of special demonic energy that was more powerful than he thought, a mirror appeared out of nowhere and hit the normal Ajax.

ʼOuchʼ

Ajax cried in pain as he rubbed his head.

ʼWhy am I fighting myself?ʼ

While rubbing his head, the normal Ajax looked at the demonized Ajax and muttered to himself as though he had awakened from some kind of sleep.

ʼYes, yes. You are me and I am you. We have to fight the incoming demonic energy.ʼ

The demonized Ajax noticed the change in the normal Ajax as he hurriedly tried to explain to him.

”I donʼt like killing innocent people; however, I like killing those who wanted to kill me and those who wanted me dead.”

Finally, the normal Ajax nodded his head as he accepted the demonized Ajax.

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as Ajax said those words, the demonized Ajaxʼs spirit consciousness started glowing with a bright light before rushing into normal Ajaxʼs spirit consciousness.

ʼDing,

Congratulations to the host for successfully merging with the demonized version of yourself.

ʼDing,

From now on, the host could use any kind of demonic energy for himself.

The merging process didnʼt last for much time and as soon as it was over, Ajax got a couple of system notifications that made him heave a sigh of relief.

ʼFinally, I can hear the system notifications.ʼ

Until now, Ajax had tried contacting the system; however, there was no response from the other side that made him get worried because he felt the system had left him.

However, after hearing the system notifications, Ajax felt quite a relief and tried to communicate with it.

ʼSystem, what happened to me earlier. Why canʼt I accept that I like killing with my inner demon.ʼ

Ajax asked his first question to the system hoping he would get an answer.
