New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 877: Fighting the Demon Fox Tribe Leader (1)

”Do you think you will get any handicap while fighting against me just because you have low cultivation?”

After laughing for a moment, the tribe leader Deon looked at Ajax and scoffed at him.

”Let me tell you one thing, even if it is a level 1 soldier realm cultivator, I will use my full strength. Within one minute, our fight will officially start. So, prepare yourself and donʼt use tricks like that.”

Before Ajax could say anything, Deon finished his words.

ʼIt looks like he is not going to give me any handicap.ʼ

When he heard the tribe leader Deonʼs words, Ajax revealed a bitter smile and shook his head.

Ajax said those words imagining that Deon would be someone who would not like to use full strength on a low-level cultivator.

However, he was clearly wrong as Deon didnʼt have any issues in fighting Ajax with his full strength.

ʼAjax, tribe leader Deonʼs motive is like ʼThough the snake is small, it is still wise to hit it with a big stickʼ.ʼ

Errol transmitted his voice to Ajax as he explained what kind of foxman the tribe leader Deon was.

ʼFine. I will fight him with all my strength.ʼ

Finally, Ajax decided to fight the tribe leader Deon with his full strength; instead of using any other tricks.

Even though Ajax could fight the regular level 10 elite general realm cultivator if he used his bloodline along with the legend grade weapons and the grade 3 weapon daos.

However, the tribe leader Deon was not any regular level 10 elite general realm cultivator.

So, Ajax felt it would be a little difficult in maintaining a stable position while fighting against the tribe leader Deon, much less winning against him.

ʼNevertheless, if worse comes to worst, I will have to use my other trump cards.ʼ

With that thought in his mind, Ajax stretched his body as he prepared himself for the fight.

ʼSwooshʼ

”Preparation time is over.”

Soon, one minute was over and the tribe leader Deon jumped into the open ground and informed Ajax that it was time to fight.

”I am ready.”

Since Ajax had already decided to fight against the tribe leader Deon, he also entered into the open ground while thinking, ʼThis is going to be my first time fighting a level 10 elite general realm without the help of my elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts.ʼ

Thatʼs right!

Until now, he fought the high-level cultivators either with the help of his elemental spirits or the contracted spirit beasts or both; however, he didnʼt fight by himself.

So, aside from a little fear deep inside his heart, at the same time, Ajax was a little excited.

”Letʼs start then.”

As soon as he finished his words, the tribe leader Deon turned into a huge fox that looked like the ancestor statue of the demon fox tribe.

ʼGrrʼ

With a growl, the huge wolf jumped onto Ajax with sharp teeth.

ʼGoing directly for the kill?ʼ

Ajax was alert because his opponent is a level 10 elite general realm cultivator. So, with a serious look on his face, he muttered to himself.

ʼTeleportʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

He waited until the demon fox reached him before using one of the effects of the ʼLightning cloud stepsʼ to disappear from his place and appear right above the demon fox.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼDieʼ

Within no time, the inheritance sword appeared in his hands as he used the grade 3 sword dao and slashed it at an incredible speed.

ʼSlashʼ

Since Ajaxʼs sword dao is a fast-type one, the huge demon fox didnʼt have enough time to dodge the attack and Ajax was able to make a small scratch on it.

ʼGrrʼ

The huge demon fox became furious when he saw Ajaxʼs sword touch his body and without wasting any time, he turned towards Ajax and tried to catch Ajax in the mid-air.

ʼTeleportʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

However, Ajax has a perfect escaping skill. So, he used it just like earlier where the huge demon fox was able to bite him.

ʼAs expected, a level 10 elite general realm cultivator has good defences even when he is not using any defensive skill.ʼ

Ajax appeared on the ground 10 meters from the huge demon fox as he looked at the place where his inheritance sword touched on the foxʼs body.

Apparently, there was no cut, only a scratch on the body which gave Ajax no surprise because he was already expecting something like that from the start.

ʼMaybe I need to choose a single weak spot and use all my skills on it.ʼ

With that thought in his mind, Ajax was checking for the weak spots on the demon foxʼs body.

ʼInstead of one weak spot, I will go for two.ʼ

Generally, all the foxes that Ajax had encountered so far had less protection on their belly following with their neck.

So, Ajax decided to attack the neck and the belly of the huge demon fox with his powerful skills.

”Your attacks will not have any effect on my body.”

Deon spoke as he jumped at Ajax once again; however, this time before Ajax could use ʼTeleportʼ, Deon himself disappeared in the middle and appeared behind Ajax.

ʼKachaʼ

ʼTeleportʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼThat was close.ʼ

With the sudden appearance of the huge demon fox behind him, Ajaxʼs back was entirely covered in a cold sweat and if not for his timely usage of ʼTeleportʼ, he would have lost his arm; instead of his robesʼ hand.

”Did you think you are the only one with the ʼTeleportʼ skill? Haha.”

Deon asked Ajax in a proud tone as he started laughing and continued speaking, ”Nevertheless, your reaction speed is very good which is helping you use the right skills at the right time.”

Deon was impressed by Ajaxʼs reaction and he didnʼt hesitate to praise his enemy.

”However, you are arrogant in challenging me with your lousy cultivation. Now, I am going to tear apart your limb and eat it.”

ʼRoarʼ

As soon as he finished his words, Deon disappeared from his place.
