New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 823: Ajax Versus Derrick

For a summoner, if he swears on his summoning heart and breaks the oath, then all his elemental spirits will be forcefully freed and sent back to the elemental spirit world.

Since the contract with the elemental spirits will be broken forcefully, the backlash received by the summoner will be high.

Moreover, since it was the summonerʼs mistake for breaking an oath, the backlash received by the elemental spirits will also be diverted to the summoner, which will cause the immediate death of the summoner.

So, every summoner will be careful when swearing on their summoner hearts.

Even though Ajax didnʼt believe that the summonerʼs heart is nothing but a myth, almost all the summoners will believe. So, he wanted to make use of it.

”I will swear the summonerʼs oath on one condition.”

After thinking for a while, Derrick decided to agree to Ajaxʼs condition on one condition.

”And, what is that?”

Errol asked with an expectant look.

Since the feud with the summonerʼs group can be resolved with just a few words, Errol wanted to resolve it for the sake of his son.

”I want young friend Ajax to join my summonerʼs group.”

Derrick said his condition slowly as he continued, ”Of course, you will get a special status and many other cultivation resources that can help you reach the peak elite general realm in the shortest time possible.”

He wanted to sound like that was a generous offer for Ajax and even tempted Ajax with the increment in the cultivation.

If there was any other level 2 general realm cultivator in front of Derrick, he would have accepted Derrickʼs condition with great excitement.

However, it was Ajax whose cultivation path was different from all the cultivators. So, for him, the cultivation resources that can increase his cultivation in the shortest time possible are useless.

So, without any hesitation, Ajax said, ”No.”

”Do you know what you are rejecting?”

When he heard Ajaxʼs reply, Derrickʼs face turned ugly as he looked at Ajax with a serious look on his face and asked Ajax.

”I know because I am not suited for your mighty summonerʼs group.”

In Ajaxʼs words, Derrick could sense a hint of mockery that made him enraged.

When Ajax first heard about the summonerʼs group, he thought of joining them; however, Ajax thought it was better not to join any organization after entering the general realm.

Moreover, after knowing that the summonerʼs group is just another organization that shows its tyrannical power on innocent and powerless beings like the ghost fox tribe, he lost interest in joining them.

So, he thought itʼs better not to join the summonerʼs group lest he becomes like them.

”I will ask you one more time.”

Suppressing his anger, Derrick looked at Ajax and asked, ”Are you sure you donʼt want to join my summonerʼs group?”

”Looks like the summonerʼs group only has immature kids who get angry when someone rejects their offer...sigh.”

Ajax didnʼt answer Derrickʼs question; instead, he sighed while mocking Derrick for behaving like a little kid.

”Fine.”

All of a sudden, the pressure coming from Derrick shot to peak level 10 elite general realm, and while looking at Ajax and others, he said, ”Since you have already made up your decision, I will send you on your way to hell.”

”Unofficial fire squad, come out.”

However, he didnʼt attack Ajax and others because he left most of his fighting to his elemental spirits as a summoner.

So, he summoned three fire elemental spirits, and from his words, Ajax could guess these three elemental spirits are unofficial elemental spirits.

ʼLooks like he stored his official elemental spirit for later, and from the looks of it, his three official elemental spirits must be at level 10 elite elemental spirit general realm.ʼ

Looking at the three unofficial fire elemental spirits in front of him, Ajax gauged the strength of Derrickʼs official elemental spirits.

”Kill everyone and bring me the mirror artifact.”

Derrick stood there as he gave orders to his elemental spirits with a calm look on his face.

If Ajax joined the summonerʼs group, Derrick thought both he and Ajax could have benefited a lot; however, Ajax rejected his offer twice, Derrick lost interest in asking Ajax one more.

If a genius rejects the offer to join their organization, they have to kill that genius in any case before he could join another organization.

So that, Derrick has to kill Ajax.

Also, Derrick likes to kill geniuses like Ajax because it was not his first killing a genius.

”Ajax, take Ghost and leave from here. I will take care of these three fire elemental spirits.”

Before Ajax could do anything, Errol handed the three-eyed ghost fox to him before standing in front of him to fight the fire elemental spirits.

”Uncle Errol, you can fight three of them at once. Each one of them has the cultivation of level 10 elite general realm.”

Ajax shook his head as he walked forward and said, ”Just stand aside and let me kill them.”

”What? But you only have the cultivation of level 2 general realm.”

Errol frowned when he heard Ajaxʼs words because Ajaxʼs strength is low to fight the three elemental spirits.

He even thought that the middle-aged man beside Ajax could not defeat even one of the three elemental spirits.

”Donʼt worry. You will know whether I can kill them or not.”

With a slight smile on his face, he summoned, ”Penta, come out and say hello to our opponents.”

Ajax didnʼt order Cerauno because the current Cerauno is not powerful. He will become powerful enough to kill the peak level 10 elite general realm when he had used the ʼThunder lawʼ along with the boost from Ajaxʼs abyssal beast god bloodline.

Moreover, Ajax thought to store them for later use. So, he directly summoned the five elemental pentapus because it is a spirit beast with peak rank 6 strength.

ʼEven its normal skills can kill three fire elemental spirits in front of him.ʼ

Ajax didnʼt have any plans to use the elemental laws for now because he guessed that Derrick must have some elemental laws on his own.

”Huh?”

When Derrick saw the sudden appearance of a huge five-coloured spirit beast in front of Ajax, he frowned and felt a bad premonition in his heart.

ʼOffical fire squad, come out.ʼ

As soon as he felt a bad premonition in his heart, Derrick decided to summon his three official elemental spirits.

”Water bullets”

Since water has an elemental advantage over the fire, Ajax directly ordered the five elemental pentapus to use its water skill ʼWater bulletsʼ at the three fire elemental spirits.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

Soon, more than 100 water bullets came out of the blue-coloured tentacle of the pentapus and rushed towards the three fire elemental spirits.

There was no place for the three fire elemental spirits to dodge before the water bullets covered more than 100 meters of the area around them.

Moreover, just from looking at the water bullets, the fire elemental spirits lost all their hope and looked at their summoning master waiting for the official fire squad to come to their rescue.

However, what they didnʼt know was Derrick had already called them out but compared to them, the water bullets were much faster.
