New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 814: Freyʼs Origins

The tribe leader of the grey furred fox tribe became very angry because after the recent development of the Western fox lands, his tribe entered the top 10 and even the top 5 fox tribes would not dare to randomly kill someone from his tribe.

Before the summonerʼs group arrived in the Western fox lands, he was just a servant in one of the three tribes.

Later, with the appearance of the summonerʼs group, who picked some talented servants from the two tribes other than the ghost fox tribe and started grooming them.

Soon, 28 new fox tribes were formed and with the destruction of the ghost fox tribe, there were 30 fox tribes in the western fox lands.

As for the tribe leader of the grey furred fox tribe, he became arrogant because of his achievements and felt no one would mess with him.

However, when he saw the dead body of his tribeʼs border guardian, he clenched his fists and ordered his subordinates, ”Everyone, divide into three teams and search for the killer in three directions.”

The tribe leader felt the killer would be around level 10 elite general realm. So, he ordered his subordinates to form teams and in each team, there were five level 10 elite general realm fox men.

The tribe was confident that their subordinates would not have any problem in killing the killer if they encountered him.

”Yes, tribe leader.”

Everyone nodded their heads and transformed into grey furred foxes before rushing in three directions.

”Also, when you find him, crush the talisman and let me know your direction.”

Before they ran into the distance, the tribe leader shouted at his subordinates and looking at the two subordinates beside him, he ordered, ”Letʼs go in this direction.”

After finishing his words, he also rushed into a specific direction.

ʼSince the fox guardian crushed the talisman, it must be very important. Is it about the ghost fox tribe?ʼ

ʼNo...it canʼt be.ʼ

ʼNo, I canʼt be sure about this.ʼ

ʼWhy am I worrying too much? As long as I find that killer of my tribeʼs guardian, I can find out more about it.ʼ

While running, many thoughts were running in the head of the grey furred foxʼs tribe leader.

…..

After eight hours,

ʼLooks like we need to take a rest for some time master to recover our essence.ʼ

After running for eight hours, Ceraunoʼ spirit consciousness was almost exhausted. Even though he didnʼt know about his masterʼs spirit consciousness, he thought he also needed to refill his spirit consciousness.

So, he suggested Ajax take a break.

”No, we have to check the locations and find the whereabouts of Ghostʼs father. Until then, we canʼt rest.”

However, Ajax shook his head and rejected Ceraunoʼs suggestion; however, he knew that Ceraunoʼs spirit consciousness was almost empty.

So, while talking to him, Ajax placed his hand on Ceraunoʼs shoulder and injected the universal essence of nature into his lightning elemental spirit.

Generally, an average level 1 general realm cultivator only has 10000 units of spirit consciousnessʼ capacity; however, Ajax had more than double that amount.

Moreover, he also has an elite general spirit gourd which has a storage capacity of 200000 units of the essence of nature.

So, he just transferred some of it to Cerauno.

Soon, Cerauno could feel warm energy entering into his body through the shoulder where Ajax placed his hand.

”How about now? Do you still want to take a rest?”

Ajax asked with a slight smile on his face.

”No, summoning master. Letʼs go now.”

The reason he asked Ajax for taking a rest earlier was because of his almost empty spirit consciousness.

So, after Ajax helped him in filling his spirit consciousness, Cerauno didnʼt want to rest and wanted to continue their journey.

”Wait for a second. Where are you going at this hour of the night?”

Just as they resumed their journey, they were stopped by a fox man who emitted a demonic aura from him.

However, Ajax knew he was a guardian of one of the starting three tribes in the western fox land, the Demonic fox tribeʼs border guardian.

Ajax didnʼt speak anything; instead, he showed the demonic fox tribeʼs guardian a grey coloured insignia.

”Oh. So, you are related to the grey furred fox tribe.”

After seeing the insignia in Ajaxʼs hands, the fox guardian stopped releasing his demonic aura.

”Yes.”

Ajax politely nodded his head and replied to him.

”However, I suggest you not travel at this hour because the unevolved spirit beasts are very active now. So, find a safe place and rest for now.”

After he finished his father, the demonic fox disappeared into the darkness.

”Phew...with him, we successfully fooled eight fox guardians. Letʼs go now.”

Ajax heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that he didnʼt raise any suspicion from the demonic fox tribeʼs guardian.

Moreover, it was not their fist fooling the fox guardians, the earlier demonic fox guardian was the eighth one whom Ajax fooled with the grey furred fox tribeʼs insignia.

Soon, Ajax and Cerauno continued to rush in the same direction.

From time to time, they could see the bustling tribes in the distance; however, they avoided those tribes and continued to run.

...

After another couple of hours,

Ajax and Cerauno crossed more than three tribes in their path and they also met the guardians of those tribes one after another.

Nevertheless, Ajax used the same trick to fool them and successfully bypassed them.

Somewhere in the western fox land,

”Tribe leader Frey, looks like your tribe is planning something. Can you fill me in about what is happening?”

The demonic fox tribesʼ guardian saw the grey furred tribe leader in a distance. So, he walked towards him and asked what the grey furred tribe was doing in the middle of the night.

The grey furred tribe leaderʼs name is Frey and when he saw the fox guardian, Frey could not help but reveal a fearful expression on his face; however, he suppressed it as soon as possible.

”What are you doing here, Godfather?”

Frey respectfully asked the old demonic fox guardian.

”Oh. You are still as polite as you are before leaving the tribe.”

The demonic fox guardian revealed a satisfied look on his face when he heard the grey furred foxʼ tribe leader called him Godfather.

Before being selected by the people from the summonerʼs group, Frey was just a servant and the old demonic fox guardian was the trainer for the servants from that tribe.

His training used to be very severe and failing to complete the daily training within the given time, the punishment would have been even more severe.

So, almost everyone was fearful of this demonic fox guardian.

As for Frey, among all the servants, he was the most diligent and trained very hard which gained him the recognition of the old demonic fox.

So, when the summoners were selecting the young talents from the tribe, he staked his own position in the tribe and made the summoners pick Frey.

From that moment onwards, Frey called the old demonic fox his godfather and without him, he would be still in the demonic fox tribe as a servant for his entire life.
