New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 815: Searching the locations for Ghostʼs father

After becoming a peak level 10 elite general realm cultivator, there were some changes in the behaviour of Frey, like acting arrogant and getting angry for even small things.

Nevertheless, when it comes to his godfather, Frey didnʼt show the slightest bit of arrogance and acted polite even when he was more powerful than the old demonic fox.

”If every student is like you, who never forgets their trainer, it would be good.”

The old demonic fox revealed a slight smile with an expectant look on his face; however, he knew that it was impossible.

”I was given the task to become the border guardian.”

Nevertheless, the old demonic fox guardian answered Freyʼs question.

ʼWhat?ʼ

When he heard the reply from his Godfather, Freyʼs expression became ugly because the task of guarding the border is given to those lowly tribe members who came to the end of their life and expended all their potential.

Even though his godfather became old and didnʼt have much potential in breaking into the King realm, he was still a high-level tribe member with many years of experience.

So, by rule, he would not be assigned the task of guarding the border.

”Is it because of me?”

Frey didnʼt have to think about it for much time before he thought of something and asked.

”No no no. It has nothing to do with you.”

Hearing those words, the old fox man became a little anxious and shook his head denying his words.

”Sigh”

Frey sighed because he could see his godfather was lying.

”Damn it...I will make the demonic fox tribe pay for this.”

Clenching his fists, Frey muttered in a low voice but it was clearly heard by the old fox man.

”No. You should not do anything like that. The tribe gave me too much and even you. So, even if you donʼt help it, you should not harm it.”

The old fox man asked Frey to not try anything funny with the demonic fox tribe.

If he did, Frey would die before he could even move a single pillar of his tribe.

Compared to the grey furred fox tribe, the demonic fox tribe had more than a thousand years of legacy and it had many old cultivators sleeping in the tribe.

So, he didnʼt want Frey to risk his life when he was on a path to becoming a King realm.

”Anyway, letʼs stop talking about myself. What happened to you? Why are you roaming here in the middle of the night?”

Soon, the old demonic fox guardian asked Frey.

”I was searching for a killer who killed my tribeʼs border guardian.”

”What?”

When he heard Freyʼs words, the old demonic fox frowned a little.

”Coming to think of it, did your tribe have human visitors today?”

The old demonic fox felt something was not right and thought back to Ajax and Cerauno who showed Grey furred fox tribeʼs insignia.

”No. Why?”

Frey shook his head and asked the old demonic fox about it.

”Looks like I knew who killed your tribeʼs guardian.”

The demonic fox guardian didnʼt waste any time as he said to Frey and others, ”Follow me. I will explain to you along the way.”

...

As for Ajax, they didnʼt have any idea that they were being followed in the exact same direction by Frey and others.

”With the guardian from earlier, we have totally fooled 25 of them.”

Ajax said to Cerauno with a slight smile on his face while running in the west.

From the moment he entered the western fox lands, Ajax and Cerauno were running in the same direction while changing their directions a little whenever any tribe came in their way.

However, in the end, their final destination was the western part of the western fox lands.

”Master, that is the location.”

After running for another one hour, Ajax heard the ghost foxʼs words which made him heave a sigh of relief.

”Finally, we reached the first location.”

Ajax stopped running as he stretched his body a little and spoke with great excitement.

In front of him, there was a vast land and it was completely covered with grass of around two meters.

”Master, you wait here. I will go and check whether my father is there or not?”

As soon as the ghost fox finished its words, he came out of the inner world as though it was nothing and rushed into the endless grasslands in front of him.

ʼSigh...how can it come out of my inner world without my permission?ʼ

Ajax still didnʼt have a clue how the three-eyed ghost fox was able to come out and enter the inner world on its own wishes.

Nevertheless, Ajax was not angered by those actions; however, the question ʼHow Ghost comes in and goes out of his inner world on its own.ʼ

He just wanted to know about it.

ʼSwooshʼ

”Master, letʼs go to the next location. He is not here.”

While he was still in his thoughts, the three-eyed ghost fox teleported himself into Ajaxʼs arms.

”Cerauno, letʼs go.”

Seeing that Ghost was not in a mood to talk, Ajax didnʼt ask him anything before ordering Cerauno.

”Swoosh”

Soon, they came to the second location; however, just like the first location, there was no good news for them.

They continued to search for all the possible locations for the secret base for Ghostʼs father; however, their luck was not so good as they didnʼt find the slightest clue regarding Ghostʼs father.

”Ghost, think carefully and try to remember. Your father must have told you about some secret location in the past. Just calm down for a second and try to think for that place.”

From the beginning, the three-eyed ghost fox was anxious and Ajax thought that Ghost was missing something.

So, he tried to help the three-eyed ghost fox in calming down by injecting his essence of nature.

”Is that a ghost fox? Hurry, inform the tribe leader.”

”Not only the tribe leader, summon all our tribe members, but there might also be other ghost fox tribe members.”

”But it has three eyes.”

”Idiot, it must have been mutated but it is still a ghost fox, right? And did you forget that if he sees any of the ghost foxes, we should crush the talisman that will alert him.”

All of a sudden, two fox men with red ears and red tails shouted when their eyes landed on the three-eyed ghost fox.

They continued to talk without bothering about Ajax because in their eyes, Ajax was not at all; however the middle-aged man beside Ajax looked a little bit difficult to deal with because they were unable to sense the cultivation of that middle-aged man.

”Master, looks like we have to kill them before others come.”

Cerauno was not bothered about the two level 9 elite general realm red fox men; what he feared was the tribe leaders of these fox tribes.

”Absolute darkness.”

Ajax nodded his head at Cerauno and used his dark elemental skill on the two elite fox men making them experience pain from endless nightmares; however, that effect didnʼt last much longer because of the cultivation gap between Ajax and them was huge.

”Spatial blades, 10000 units of the essence of nature.”
