New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 812: Matters regarding Ghost fox tribe

Ajax had endured the cultivation pressure of more powerful cultivators than the old fox guardian standing in front of him who only had the cultivation strength of level 8 elite general realm.

So, there was not a slight discomfort for Ajax from the cultivation pressure.

”I am going to meet the tribe leader of the ghost fox tribe. So what now?”

Finally, Ajax could not take the overbearing attitude of the old fox guardian and replied with an angry stare.

”So, you know where the tribe leader of the ghost fox tribe is hiding. Good.”

When he heard Ajaxʼs answer, the old fox guardian was not angered by Ajaxʼs angry stare; instead, he became a little excited.

”Human, as long as you take me to the cowardly tribe leader, I will let you live. What do you say?”

The old fox guardian suppressed his excitement and said to Ajax with a calm look on his face.

”Huh? Coward tribe leader?”

Ajax realized something was not right and connected all the words that the old fox guardian had said from the start.

After connecting those words, he could guess something bad had happened to the ghost fox tribe.

”Donʼt act like you didnʼt know the ghost foxʼs tribe leader and most importantly donʼt say that you are going to meet him for the first time.”

Looking at the puzzled look on Ajaxʼs face, the old fox guardian scoffed and urged Ajax by saying, ”Donʼt waste my time and lead the way to the hiding location of the ghost foxʼs tribe leader.”

ʼSince I crushed the talisman in my hands, the tribe leader and others can sense my direction for another 30 minutes. So, as long as I find the hiding location before that, I can get that item.ʼ

After asking Ajax to guide the way, the fox guardian was thinking something else in his head.

”Fine.”

Ajax nodded his head and continued saying, ”If you want to live, you will say what happened to the ghost fox tribe.”

While saying those, a figure appeared beside Ajax and using its tentacles, the pentapus stopped the fox guardian to move.

”What? A peak level rank 6 spirit beast?”

When he heard Ajaxʼs words, the fox guardian became very angry; however, before he could express it, he was wrapped by a tentacle and when he sensed the strength of the spirit beast beside Ajax, he was entirely covered in sweat.

”Yes. It is a peak level rank 6 spirit beast and if you donʼt explain what happened to the ghost fox tribe and why the tribe leader was hiding, my spirit beast will take good care of you. Isnʼt that right, Penta?”

At the end of his words, Ajax looked at the five elemental pentapus and asked with a slight smile.

ʼThudʼ

ʼThudʼ

With its other tentacles, the five elemental pentapus slapped the ground lightly which showed its agreement to Ajaxʼs words.

”Yes...yes. I will say.”

Even before the five elemental pentapus could use any of its skills or even release its cultivation pressure, the fox guardian scared to death as he nodded his head to Ajaxʼs words.

”A few years back, the ghost fox tribe was the second ranked tribe among the three tribes in the Western fox lands.”

Soon, the fox guardian started speaking about the events that happened a few years back.

”Those times were peaceful until the son of the ghost foxʼs tribe leader missed one day or rather was kidnapped by someone. Then...A ghost fox?”

ʼSwooshʼ

While he was speaking, the old fox guardian saw a three-eyed back fox appear out of nowhere and stood on the young manʼs shoulder in front of him.

As soon as his eyes landed on the black fox, the fox guardian stopped speaking and widened his eyes in shock.

”You are the nameless son of the ghost foxʼs tribe leader, right?”

The fox guardianʼs eyes shone for a moment before asking the three-eyed ghost.

”Yes. Just say what happened to my tribe and why is my father hiding?”

The three-eyed ghost fox was keeping an eye on the western fox lands from the inner world. So, as soon as he heard the words of the fox guardian, he came out without Ajaxʼs permission.

Seeing the anxious little black fox, Ajax didnʼt say anything and looked at the fox guardian and singalled him to continue speaking.

”One day, this nameless son of the ghost foxʼs tribe leader disappeared without a trace and as soon as the tribe leader found out that his son unevolved son was missing, he started searching every inch of the western fox lands and even killed many tribesmen of the other two tribes at that time.”

ʼI need to find a way to escape from here along with the little fox. As long as I have him, I can get the item that mindless bastard was holding onto.ʼ

Even though he was speaking about the past events for Ajax, the fox guardianʼs mind was thinking of a plan to capture the three-eyed ghost fox and escape from the peak elite general realm spirit beast.

Nevertheless, the fox guardian tried his best to conceal his thoughts as he continued to explain while pointing at the three-eyed ghost fox on Ajaxʼs shoulder, ”While searching every inch of the western fox lands for him, his father found three items which are sought by the summoner groupʼs people.”

”So, that moment his father picked up those three items, the summoner groupʼs people senses that energy fluctuations from our wester fox lands and soon they appeared in this region.”

The fox guardian stopped for a moment to take a breath before continuing, ”They asked his father to return those items; however, his father, the tribe leader of the ghost fox, was very angry and could not differentiate between what is good and what is bad and refused to give those items to them.”

”Of course, how can the summoner group have the time to convince him? So, they directly used the force and killed all the subordinates of the tribe leader leaving him with no choice. So, he used two of the items which he found in his search to kill the three men summoner team before escaping with the three items.”

”After that, many summoners started appearing in this region and took control over the western fox lands. They started developing the other two fox tribes to hunt the ghost foxʼ tribe leader along with the rest of his tribe members.”

Ajax raised his brows from time to time and there were even times, he was surprised a few times like why Ghostʼs father didnʼt return the items he found; instead, chose to go against a powerful summonerʼs group.

ʼLooks like the summonerʼs group who was helping the inhabitants of the five elemental world have other intentions.ʼ

Ajax had already heard about the summonerʼs group that helped the inhabitants of the five elemental world. So, Ajax guessed why Ghostʼs father chose to go against the powerful summoner group who was always good to them.

So, Ajax felt the so-called summonerʼs group is not good after all.

By the time the fox guardian finished his words, he got an idea and took out a tube artifact and blew it while aiming at the pentapus.
