My Apocalypse System Arrives 10 Years Early

Chapter 632: Chapter 379: ”Toad Palace Dream-Building”, ”Celestial Calculation Energy Technology Group

As the Head Shopkeeper, he launched a massive nationwide construction project.

The primary focus was to strengthen the links between cities and allow people to travel between them.

Previously, everyone had been cooped up in their respective Underground Cities. While life was decent enough, being unable to leave the city was ultimately a shame.

Many people sighed with emotion, never expecting to travel between cities again in their lifetime. They fondly recalled the era of peace before, when during holidays, any reasonably famous tourist spot or city would be completely swamped with people. Everyone was rather nostalgic for those days.

And City No. 03 was the top destination for many tourists. After all, it was the Holy Land—the global Holy Land.

Thanks to the comprehensive AI management system, every person’s Communication Device had an integrated identity chip, making the central system secure against terrorist infiltration. It was also incredibly convenient, unlike the old Imperial Capital where you had to constantly show your ID. You could get checked seven or eight times just to see a single tourist spot.

Some radicals proposed implanting the identity chips directly into the brain or arm at birth, but Li Xiang and Jiang Cai’er vetoed the idea. Doing so, they argued, would likely be counterproductive.

Technologically speaking, the chip integrated into the Communication Device was more than enough. Since it was all digital, identity information could easily be transferred even when upgrading to a new device.

This was because the security gate scanners had been upgraded. They didn’t just scan the identity chip but also biometrics like fingerprints and irises. This data was then cross-referenced with the Database, leaving virtually no room for error.

As for hackers, none existed at present who could get the better of Jiang Cai’er.

In the virtual network, the Metaverse, Jiang Cai’er was a god. A true, bona fide Divine Tier existence.

Her numerous Clones weren’t necessarily virtual avatars of herself; she also had Clones in the form of various robots, robotic dogs, and mechanical spiders. Others were simply unaware, assuming they were just ordinary machines.

In fact, whenever Jiang Cai’er wished, she could turn any robot, robotic dog, or mechanical spider within her domain into one of her Clones.

She could even possess automated turrets, aerospace fighters, Stellar Mother Ships, and the various satellites in lunar orbit.

As for privacy, Jiang Cai’er wasn’t bored enough to pry into the lives of others. Besides, her own existence was on such a high plane that she had no interest in the private affairs of ordinary people. She would only ever proactively review the surveillance footage when it was absolutely necessary.

She had learned to ”filter out” useless information.

Li Family Village used to host a village gala every year, but after Li Xiang took charge of City No. 03, it was expanded into a city-wide Spring Festival Gala.

Now, however, the national broadcasting headquarters had relocated there, turning the event into a national gala. It featured numerous satellite venues, including locations in Los Santos, Guanghan City, and Jade Rabbit City.

The two major city venues on the Moon, in particular, were the hottest and most-watched locations.

Zhao Xueqing and Lei Xiaohui were naturals when it came to organizing galas; they had even put on a Mid-Autumn Festival Gala during the last one.

For the Mid-Autumn Gala on the Moon, the Cloud Whale and the Profound Nether, both Stellar Mother Ships, were positioned in space to act as relay stations for the interstellar live broadcast.

The Profound Nether in particular was equipped with a ”mobile ship-borne Supercomputing Center” composed of a full ten thousand Quantum Computers, giving it incredibly powerful data reception and broadcasting capabilities.

Furthermore, there were plans to build a sprawling amusement park on the lunar surface between Guanghan City and Jade Rabbit City. It was to be named the ”Changgong Star Palace - Illusory Moon Realm” and would be dedicated purely to entertainment. It was said to be on a level leagues beyond the world-famous Disneyland of the pre-Apocalypse era.

Because Li Xiang was now the Master of the Moon, the entire satellite was effectively his Clone, making the airspace below 300 kilometers ”absolutely safe.”

Therefore, constructing an amusement park on the lunar surface posed no technical challenges.

The ”Changgong Star Palace - Illusory Moon Realm” project was divided into several phases. The first phase alone covered more than ninety square kilometers—eighty times the size of the original Shanghai Disneyland—and featured thirty-six major attractions, including ”Moonfall Impact: Star Sand Fury,” ”Dark Abyss Ice Wings: Kunpeng Transition,” ”Celestial Calculation Maze: Thousand-Sail Star Trails,” ”Spirit Plant Hunting Ground: Mutation Frenzy,” ”Illusory Moon Theater: Secret History of Guanghan,” ”Jade Rabbit Miner: Lunar Cavern Treasure Hunting,” ”Black Hole Edge: Ancient Road Trial,” and ”Starship Command: Profound Nether Expedition,” to name a few.

Many of these attractions were designed to be exceptionally thrilling and realistic, primarily through the use of advanced holographic projections combined with Extraordinary Illusion Realm technology to create a fully immersive experience.

What’s the most important part of an amusement park? Immersion, of course.

Rides from the old Disneyland like ”Soarin’ Over the Horizon,” ”Pirates of the Caribbean,” and the ”TRON Lightcycle Power Run” couldn’t hold a candle to this place. They were products of a bygone era.

Even Disneyland’s grand finale—the ”Ignite the Dream” light and fireworks show—was on a completely different scale. In terms of visual effects, it was like a candle flame next to the sun; it wasn’t even in the same league.

For one, when watching the fireworks at Disney, everyone had to sit on the ground, crammed shoulder-to-shoulder and exhausted. If you were too far back, you couldn’t even get a clear view.

But that wouldn’t be an issue here. The venue was incredibly spacious. For the grand finale, every guest would be in an individual flying pod, floating in the air. Family-sized pods were also available. Not only was the view perfect and the visuals breathtaking, but guests could also experience simulated gravity, shockwaves, and a multi-sensory fusion of touch and smell, with the fragrance of Spirit Plants cultivated by Zhao Xueqing released to match the on-screen scenes.

Visually, the park utilized a holographic ecological dome, supported by the Computing Power of the Celestial Calculation Center in lunar orbit. Taking advantage of the Moon’s lack of atmosphere, the entire sky above the park became a holographic canopy. The projection area could span hundreds of kilometers with a nanometer-scale resolution. The visual effect was beyond words; only by witnessing it firsthand could one truly understand the meaning of awe.
