Xia Jinyuan glanced at it. He didn’t think that Luke would be able to snatch a set of night-vision equipment from his comrades, especially since their whereabouts were all known by them.

Gunshots were fired continuously from the west side. Luke heard two familiar screams. Those were… the bodyguards beside Cobra. They split up to attract the attention of the people speaking English. He didn’t know which country they came from.

It was very tragic. They were killed before they could escape far.

“I think we should leave first…” As Luke spoke, he stood up and moved toward Cobra.

The three subordinates of Qin Maosheng, who were chased to the mountainside by the Xueyu unit, continued to run away with pale faces as they fired their guns. They didn’t have many bullets left. If they didn’t get rid of these leeches, they wouldn’t be able to see the sun tomorrow.

They still wanted to escape further. Cobra, who was in front of them, was already filled with hatred. The four bodyguards kept moving forward, afraid that they would be found.

The four bodyguards that were distracted had already been killed by the soldiers from the Xueyu unit. Everyone started to surround the mountain. Gunshots sounded continuously. Two of Qin Maosheng’s three subordinates were crippled, and one was killed.

The two people who were crippled hugged their legs and screamed. Cobra, who was running in front, didn’t dare to stop and ran on all fours.

He would not let his life end here. Never!

Listening to the rustling sounds of the search nearby, Cobra asked two bodyguards to bring up the rear. The gunshots in the middle of the mountain shocked the small movements in the mountain and made them shiver.

Xia Jinyuan and Luke had a hard time retreating. The bullets were about to pierce through the rocks they were hiding in. The sharp stones that were splattered by the bullets brushed past their cheeks, leaving several bloody wounds.

“I’ll shoot back now. Leave immediately!” Xia Jinyuan couldn’t stand up because of the suppression of firepower. He said to Luke, “You need to protect Mr. Cobra and leave this place. I’ll block him! Hurry! You will meet me in front. Do you understand?”

“One, two, three… run!” Xia Jinyuan fired to suppress them. He didn’t know if the bullets would hit his comrades who had been fighting alongside him, but he needed to bring up the rear. He needed Luke to return to Cobra first!

When the gunshots were heard, Luke, who was bleeding from the corner of his mouth, rushed out. He needed to pick up his good friend in front!

He used his arm to brush past the leaves and stepped on the rocks with moss growing on them. The agile Luke instantly rushed out a few meters. He was in front to help Xia Jinyuan retreat.

In front of them, E6 touched his head. Just now, he almost got shot in the head!

“My head almost exploded just now. Brothers, I’ll ‘hang’ first. You can continue…” E6 lay on the loose and soft withered leaves. His chest heaved up and down. Sweat kept appearing on his forehead. His tense nerves relaxed bit by bit as he panted.

According to the plan, once the bodyguards beside Cobra were killed, someone on their side would have to be ‘killed’. Who would believe that they wouldn’t have casualties?

Luke heard the sound of something being dragged. Someone had been shot, and his companions were dragging him away.

It was Xia who hit the person chasing them. At the same time, he angered them.

“They’re still running forward. Don’t let them leave alive!”

“They’re right in front. Hurry!”

He could understand everything he heard, but he didn’t know which country the people speaking were from. He fired continuously in the direction where the voice came from.

He heard a muffled sound and the sound of his body hitting the ground. He hit his target!

“Xia, retreat!”
