When she got off the boat, it was nighttime. Now, it was daytime.

Ye Jian, who had adapted to the darkness, took the time to size up her surroundings. From the distance to the sound of the ground, she knew that they had arrived at a house with an empty foundation. She quickly sized up the room that was made of wood. Then, she focused on the man in the room who was holding a gun.

There were four Burmese men with guns in front of her. All of them had fierce eyes, and their expressions were very cold as they stared at them. There were also two men with guns guarding the door to prevent them from escaping. Or rather, they were used to standing guard.

No wonder everyone said that the drug lords from Myanmar were retired soldiers from the military unit. From their habit of standing guard, Ye Jian knew that the rumors were true.

There wasn’t much time for Ye Jian to size up her surroundings. After she pulled her gaze away from the guard at the door, she immediately turned her head and looked to her side. The moment she looked over, she saw two Burmese men holding guns standing on her right. Black muzzles were pointing at her. At the same time, she saw two female soldiers who were tied up and kneeling on the ground. They were wearing the same military uniform as her. It was Zhou Yijin and Liu Le.

Zhou Yijin was still alright. She was calmer. Besides her eyes that were slightly red and swollen and her face that was a little pale, her expression was still alright.

Liu Le’s condition was worse. Her eyes were red and swollen, and her face was haggard. She was forced to kneel because of the gun, and her entire body was trembling. It was obvious that she was very frightened. Her mental state was on the verge of collapse.

If they didn’t save her in time, Liu Le might suffer!

Zhou Yijin looked at Ye Jian too. The two of them looked at each other and couldn’t help but purse their lips. Obviously, Zhou Yijin had also realized that Liu Le’s condition wasn’t good.

Footsteps came from outside. Ye Jian and Zhou Yijin turned their heads and looked at the door at the same time. They saw a Burmese woman walking in with a camera in her hand.

Dan Yi. The woman who walked in with the camera was called Dan Yi. She was the one who pretended to be pregnant. After that, she was very rude to Ye Jian. She would punch and kick Ye Jian to vent her hatred.

The moment she entered, she glanced at the three Chinese female soldiers with hatred in her eyes. She said a few cold words to the men with guns in the room. The next moment, the back of the female soldiers’ heads were hit by a cold and hard object.

They were being held at gunpoint.

Dan Yi saw that the three Chinese female soldiers were unable to resist her guns. She tightened her grip on the camera. If she could, she would rather change the camera to a gun. She would pretend that the gun went off accidentally and blow their heads up with bullets.

Dan Yi, who hated the Chinese soldiers to the core, held the camera like it was a pistol. However, Ye Jian wasn’t afraid. The appearance of the camera made her calmer.

As it turned out, they wanted to use photos to threaten China to achieve their goal.

After a few clicks, Ye Jian’s calm gaze landed on the camera. The photos would be sent to the hands of the Chinese border defense armed police officers.

When Liu Le saw that she was just taking photos, her extremely tense nerves relaxed instantly. At that moment, she broke down entirely. Tears fell from her eyes like rolling pearls. If it wasn’t for the fact that there was something stuffed in her mouth, she might have cried loudly.

Zhou Yijin, who was relatively calm, relaxed her tense back too.
