Death… And Me

Chapter 3327: Trust Us

Ralakia suppressed her cultivation to the Space Bending Realm, just like Kentucky asked. However, she made a small mistake there. What Kentucky wanted her to do was suppress it to the Peak Stage of that realm... not the Initial Stage!

Kentucky passed Ridia back to Rean before leaving. When both the birds reached the skies, ready to start the battle, Kentucky finally noticed Ralakiaʼs mistake. ʼWell... I didnʼt say which stage I wanted, after all.ʼ To someone as lazy as a Minokawa, Kentucky obviously wouldnʼt ask her to fix it. That would make his life harder for no reason.

Both Ralakia and Kentucky floated there, with Gian arriving in between them to act as judge. ”Alright, this is just a quick demonstration. We donʼt want to cause a lot of commotion either, so this battle canʼt last more than a minute. Understood?”

Ralakia nodded, and so did Kentucky.

With both sides agreeing to his words, Gian gave the order. ”Start!”

Water Element transformed into Ice Element, Yin Energy spread at high speeds, and Ralakia flapped her wings. Even if she suppressed her cultivation to the Initial Stage, she would still give her best shot. She wanted to see if Kentucky could at least resist her for a minute. If that happened, she could at least consider giving ears to Reanʼs proposal.

However, before Ralakia could even finish the first flap of her wings, she noticed that a ray of Black and White Light was already right in front of her!

”WHAT?!”

ʼKawa Divine Thrust!ʼ

Kentucky, without holding back, came crashing down with his beak pointing at Ralakiaʼs chest.

Yet, just as Kentucky was about to hit, Ralakiaʼs cultivation was released, returning to the Space-Time Realm Peak Stage. Still, Kentucky was so close that even returning to her original cultivation wouldnʼt be enough to dodge that attack.

*BANG!*

Kentuckyʼs beak crashed into Ralakia, sending her flying backwards like a meteor. Fortunately for her, she still managed to use her Divine Energy to protect herself and her Spatial Powers to stop some of Kentuckyʼs momentum. In the end, she came to a standstill a little bit over a

hundred meters away.

*Gasp, gasp, gasp...*

Ralakia breathed hard as a result. She had to change her approach so fast that it caused a backlash inside her body. Looking down at her blue feathers on her chest, a hole that brimmed with Dark and Light Elements could be seen. The Dark Element kept corroding her body from within, and the Light Element supported it, increasing its power.

She narrowed her eyes and circulated her Ice Element and Divine Energy to purge those elements, finally getting free from Kentuckyʼs previous attack. ”If I hadnʼt returned to my cultivation...” She didnʼt even want to think about it anymore.

Gian, who watched the whole thing from the side, was just as shocked. He knew Rean was much stronger than he seemed, so he expected Kentucky to be something similar. Yet, what Kentucky demonstrated far surpassed all his dreams. ”Just how did you reach such a level of strength?”

Rean, who was on his side, faintly smiled. ”Well, Kentucky has a cultivation technique for Minokawas. Do you know what that means?”

*Zush!*

As if she heard the most ridiculous thing in the Universe, Ralakia returned to Gianʼs side, looking at Rean. She even forgot about the injury Kentucky had just caused her. ”What did you just say? A cultivation technique? For a Demon Beast?”

Kentucky also returned, pulling Ridia back to his side and also understanding Reanʼs plan. ”Thatʼs correct. My race does have a cultivation technique, so we are indeed much stronger than other Divine Demon Beasts. Sorry to disappoint you, but this is a technique that only works for Minokawas.”

Ralakia still had an interest. ”Show me! Do that, and I will believe your words.”

Kentucky looked at Rean, who nodded back. Then, a Jade Slip appeared, which Kentucky passed to Ralakia. Of course, that wasnʼt the Celestial Soul Bloodline technique. Instead, it was a technique Roan had made for Minokawas a long time ago. Kentucky used it before, but now he has no use for it. Above all, it indeed would only work for Minokawas.

Both Gian and Ralakia looked into it for several hours. They discussed and asked many questions, but ultimately, they had to admit the thing was the real deal. ”Just how did your Minokawa Race even come up with this thing? Iʼve never heard about a Demon Beast Cultivation technique before.” Ralakia asked, a little disappointed that Kentuckyʼs technique, even though real, truly would never work for her.

”I donʼt know,” Kentucky shrugged. ”If you donʼt believe me, I can even sign those Soul Binding Contracts and answer the same thing. The technique was already there when I was born, and Iʼve never really cared about how it came to be. I just used it.”

Gian narrowed his eyes, now certain of something. ”You came from outside the Divine Snow World, didnʼt you?”

”Oh!” Rean nodded. ”As I thought, an expert at the level of Sir Gian would definitely know about the outside.”

Gian snorted. ”This information is hidden from the masses. However, because of the cultivation limit, those at our level are made aware of its existence.”

”Cultivation limit?” Rean and Kentucky were puzzled. ”What cultivation limit?”

Ralakia explained from there. ”In the Divine Snow World, there is no such thing as Divinity Realm experts. Everyone who breaks through has to leave the Divine Snow World immediately. Thatʼs why Gian and I have been holding back to not having our breakthroughs. If we do get to the next level, that will be the last time we will see the Divine Snow World.” ”I see...” Rean nodded. ”Whatʼs the reason behind this rule?”

”Who knows?” Gian shrugged. ”I asked that question many times, but Iʼve never been given an answer. Seems like I can only find more about it once outside.”

Ralakia then returned to the topic at hand. ”Alright, that matters not to those of your level. Now, speak. You said you can make Ridia reach the Elemental Space Realm within a Hundred Years. Is that true?”

”Yes,” Rean nodded. Truth be told, a hundred years would be hard. However, since the system gave him a hundred years, then it should be possible, especially if Roan makes a Cultivation Technique for Ridia. ”As to how we will do it, you can only trust us on that.”
