Death… And Me

Chapter 3294: Accepted Both

”Ahem...” Rean returned his attention to Tanxan. ”So you have no idea what happened to your spaceship and everything else.”

”Thatʼs correct,” Tanxan answered.

”What about your Pocket Dimensional Realm?” Roan didnʼt forget Tanxan was in the Space Bending Realm Middle Stage, and especially that he also had a Pocket Dimensional Realm. He could even feel its presence by being close enough to Tanxan.

Tanxa immediately sent his consciousness into his Pocket Dimensional Realm. There, he found all his things... although many of them were now pretty useless. It wasnʼt because of Hyeoumuʼs intervention. Instead, it was due to his long time hibernating before the twins found him in the Ruins of the Stars. ”It is still there. I should have cleaned it before I tried to leave the Lisan Universe. The place is a mess.”

Roanʼs interest was picked. ”What about Divine origin Energy Cores? Do you have those in there?”

The twins had many of those cores before, and they contributed greatly to their cultivation. They got all of those cores from the Ruins of the Stars, where they found Tanxan. Besides, the true Sky Energy, in its perfect form, uses Divine Origin Energy, not Spiritual Energy or normal Divine Energy.

However, Tanxan shook his head. ”I didnʼt expect I would need them after I left with the spaceship, so I didnʼt put any in my Pocket Dimensional Realm. We were quite in a hurry, remember? Then, as soon as I left, Hyeoumu got me.”

Roan felt a little disappointed, but he could accept it. ”Whatever. So, you are now awake and in the Werdlem Empire. What do you intend to do? Are you sticking around?”

”As if!” Tanxan immediately refused. ”You guys mentioned the Charybdis and that she might know a way to leave the Werdlem Empire. Well, I will not rely on that alone. Iʼm going out on my own to find a way to leave the Werdlem Empire as well. Does this Werdlem Empire Network really cover all Universes in its domain?”

”Thatʼs what we heard from Rifindio and everyone else,” Rean understood what Tanxan meant. Then, he took out another CD, one that he hadnʼt used yet. ”I will give you the number of this CD and will keep it for communication with you and you alone. That way, there will be no risk of it being blocked in the future.”

”Thank you.” Tanxan quickly recorded the CDʼs number. Even if it didnʼt work in the Divine Snow World, it still worked in the rest of the Divine Realm. After all, Rifindio and Renata also used normal CDs in the Supreme Palace. ”I donʼt know when we will meet again, but letʼs try to keep in contact with each. No, wait. Perhaps it is better if we donʼt call each other unless extremely necessary.”

”Communication between different Universes, right?” Roan asked back, understanding

Tanxan.

”Thatʼs correct,” Tanxan confirmed.

The CDs are all connected to the Werdlem Empire, and in theory, they can contact anyone within the Werdlem Network all over the Werdlem Empire. However, Rean and Roan intend to leave this Universe at some point, and Tanxan thinks he will end up doing the same thing. How many experts are out there that can travel between Universes? Then, once Rean and Roan contact Tanxan from a different Universe, the logs will look suspicious to the Werdlem Empire. Any expert that travels between different Universes is bound to have some fame or have some important position. All of such experts are definitely registered in the system as special cases.

Thatʼs why using the CDs to contact each other would be dangerous. It might attract the attention of the Werdlem Empire and lead their forces direct to Rean, Roan, or Tanxan.

”But thatʼs only when we leave this Universe,” Tanxan added. ”While we are here, letʼs keep in touch. It shouldnʼt be a problem here. Then, if any of us decides to leave, we must contact the other and tell them about it. Of course, if we find a way out of the Werdlem Empireʼs Bubble, then we can ignore the risks and contact each other regardless. Thatʼs our main priority. I want to go back to Lingan Universe as much as you guys want to return to Lisan.” ”Then we have an agreement.” Rean quickly accepted. Neither of them had a reason not to follow that arrangement. Above all, Tanxan was a guy who had experience traveling between different Universes. He definitely had what it takes to go out there on his own and look for a way out by himself. Not to mention that two different groups looking for the same thing through different methods would increase their chances of going out earlier.

”But before that,” Rean looked at the bracelet around Tanxanʼs core. ”That bracelet of mine is only a temporary measure. The best thing would be for you to attach a real Divine Werdlem Stone to your Core, Tanxan.”

Roan agreed. ”Your slimy body is green semi-transparent, so anyone can see your core. If there isnʼt a Divine Werdlem Stone there, it will definitely attract a lot of attention if you can cultivate and use Divine Energy, not to mention your cultivation level.”

”Oh...” Tanxan was happy they mentioned that. ”Rean, can you do something regarding it?”

”Yes,” Rean smiled, already intending to help Tanxan on that side. ”I will use one of the Divine Werdlem Stones I bought and attach it to your core. You can trust me. I wonʼt damage your core in any way. By the time I finish, you wonʼt need the bracelet anymore.”

”I will keep the bracelet nonetheless,” Tanxan said, throwing the bracelet into his Pocket Dimensional Realm. ”Also, give me this thingʼs blueprint. I can make more for myself later in case I break the one you gave me. Donʼt worry, I know the risks involved and I wonʼt use it unless extremely necessary.”

Rean had no doubt Tanxan would take all the necessary precautions. ”No problem. Here, Iʼll give you a jade slip since it wonʼt need a connection to the Werdlem Network. ”He quickly passed the Jade Slip over, adding another thing. ”It also has the design of my prototype CD with a VS Device Slot for you to use here in the Divine Snow World.”

”Very well,” Tanxan accepted both.
