Death… And Me

Chapter 3252: Not in a Hurry

Rifindio felt like his words of warning were completely ignored. ”Did you hear what I said at all?”

Roan glanced at him while Rean and Kentucky tried not to laugh.

”There is no need for you to worry,” Roan spoke. ”We have our reasons to believe the Abyssal Soul will behave itself.” Well, he didnʼt really believe that at all. Instead, he believed in the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm.

So what if the Abyssal Soul was the best at space control? This is no common Dimensional Realm; it is the Systemʼs Dimensional Realm. It by itself already defied the logic of Dimensional Realms. Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Sister Orb were 100% confident it would not escape once inside.

In any case, the Abyssal Soul was delighted to hear that. ”You made the right choice! Sure enough, Chaos Energy is a reward no one can ignore.”

Roan didnʼt bother saying anything once he heard that. There was one more reason why Chaos Energy wasnʼt of much use to the twins: laws! The twins and Kentucky had already reached the Peak of the Divinity Realm. All their comprehension is already there. Simply put, they didnʼt need it to comprehend the laws at the Space-Time and Divinity Realms anymore.

Well, perhaps Kentucky would need it since he was in the Late Stage of the Divinity Realm, but he wasnʼt that far from the Peak Stage, either.

But then, Roan thought of something. ʼHum... Even though there isnʼt much, Chaos Energy first changes to Divine Origin Energy before becoming normal Divine Energy. Divine Stones of low level only have normal Divine Energy. Perhaps this Chaos Energy will be of more use than what we expected.ʼ

Only Rean and Kentucky heard that, and they now considered the idea. ʼWe can definitely try it out later.ʼ

Returning to the topic at hand, Roan agreed to help the Abyssal Soul. The System also wanted it, so there was no reason to hold back anymore. ”Alright, we will do as you said. We will leave this shard of yours inside our Pocket Dimensional Realm for now, and it will lose its connection to your main soul again. Once we get there, we will let you connect to it again.”

The Abyssal Soul didnʼt mind, already expecting as much. It would have done the same to prevent any tracking as well. ”Then thatʼs settled. If you have any more questions, just ask them.”

”Just one more,” Rean raised his hand. ”Whatʼs your name?”

”Name...?” The Abyssal Soul thought he had something more important to ask. ”Errr... What was it? Iʼm sure I was called by a name before, but it has been so long... Oh well, whatever. Just call me whatever you like.”

”Aby it is then,” Rean nodded.

”Thatʼs... quite some serious lack of creativity...”

”Shut up! Aby is great!” Rean complained. He truly thought that to be very good.

”Now that I think about it, is... Aby... a male or female?” Foliana asked on the side. ”Either one is fine,” Aby answered, accepting the name. He truly didnʼt care much about it. ”I said that before, we were born of space. There is no such thing as reproductive organs, eggs, pregnancy, cloning, or whatever. We have no parents, no children, no nothing. We are just ourselves and nothing more. Thus, we are neither male nor female, or you could say we are both. Itʼs up to you.”

”Thatʼs quite sad...” Foliana felt some pity for Aby.

As for Aby, it didnʼt see it that way. ”It just means I donʼt have to care about anyone else. Anyway, you guys can think whatever you like. So, any other questions?”

”No,” Rean shook his head. ”We will see you later.”

In the next moment, Sister Orb cut that connection between the Abyssal Soul Shard and the outside world. The Shard immediately became still, and she could detect the Abyssal Main Soulʼs presence was gone. [Okay. Itʼs done.]

Rean looked to the side, intending to ask Roan something. However, Roan was nowhere to be seen. ”Eh? Where did he go?”

Zangeshu explained. ”He lost interest when the topic about a name came up and left ahead.” ”Thatʼs Roan alright...” Rean sighed. Rean checked him through their connection and saw he was already preparing for the invasion of the space station.

”Kentucky, letʼs go. We are first going to visit the Gozen Sect to leave Tomoe and the others there,” Rean spoke and quickly teleported outside.

”Oh yeah! Finally!” Kentucky followed, also disappearing from the Dimensional Realm.

Outside, Rean jumped on Kentuckyʼs back, and the two flew away. With their cultivation, arriving in the Gozen Sect wouldnʼt take long.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Palace had just received the notice about Duereʼs death. ”Hum?” One of the workers there looked at that report, trying to remember who that guy was. Duere had been gone for over four hundred years, after all. He put Duereʼs ID in their system, bringing up his information.

He continued to read everything. ”Oh, he wasnʼt too bad. Still, how did he die on a Mortal Planet? Letʼs see... There was a battle, many formations in the entire Solar System, and an order to only report the events there to Duere himself. What was this kid trying to do there? Hey, it was the same planet the Main Universe asked to investigate back then. Itʼs just that the targets of the investigation already died, so it was marked as concluded. Well, thatʼs just one more to the pile, although I will have to send someone anyway.”

Duere was talented, but he was far from the only one like that. The worker simply passed the report ahead, and a group was organized to go down and check it. No one seemed in a hurry. Deaths were common, and they happened for many reasons. If Duere wasnʼt on the planet of the investigation back then, this group probably wouldnʼt even have been formed.

It wouldnʼt be before the next day until the Supreme Palace finally sent them over.
