The Villain's Story

Chapter 793: The difference in power...

Exquisite, beautiful scales the size of a small marble glided over one another dozens of times, creating the perfect defense. Not a single scale possessed any sort of blemish. It was a work of art unlike any other.

A serrated tail the length of his body, which by itself was taller than Alanʼs own. A set of claws that could rip through anything in existence, even fate, and eyes unlike any other.

A pair of black voids, an abyss unlike any other. No emotion, No special peculiarities, just an eerie feeling when one stared into them, a force unlike any other sucking them in the bottomless depths.

It was like a machine, a well oiled machine created by a master craftsman, a masterpiece of destruction and chaos, whose rule overtook any laws that governed the world. The shadows ran as a purple hue engulfed all Alan could see.

The masterpiece stared at him, and Alan struggled to escape the pull of his eyes as he advanced. With each step, the miasma in the air deepened, it became hard to breathe, it became difficult to move.

The air was heavy, and powerful, in the expanse of purple, a small blue field resisted it. Alanʼs mana fighting against the purple domain. His vision was impaired, and every second felt like it was his last.

He could feel it, his blood was boiling, but it was not because of the fight, but it was his bloodline, and his lineage.

Both of them, The Bloodline of the Primordial of Life, Liorathen, and the Primordial of Death, Arielʼs lineage, were on high alert. Everything that he had, everything that made him was on high alert as the Draconian of Chaos walked towards him.

Each iota of mana was like a river rushing down towards him, trying to make him submit to the ruthless flow, and there were thousands.

He glided over towards Alan, his hand effortlessly piercing the barrier of blue as a cluster of mana formed on his palm.

And it released no sound, no visual display, just pure power as it threw Alan far away. His mana succumbed like it was nothing and his body was sent crashing towards the hills of the realm of shadows.

Hundreds of miles away, Alan stood up, as the purple miasma slowly approached. Black sand slithered down his white scales as he looked up, at the monstrosity.

Three pairs of bats like wings arose from the back of the monstrosity, two of flesh and bone, and the other of purple miasma. He rose to the sky, his wings carrying his heavy body as if it didnʼt weigh anything at all.

The pair of wings formed of purple miasma scattered, and formed into glowing circles of energy. Two over his shoulder, two over his hands, One embedded in his chest, and the other two over his thighs. He looked at Alan like a god staring at an insect, and a purple glow arose from his throat.

ʼ…!ʼ

He didnʼt have time to react, he didnʼt have time to cast a spell, to brace himself, and even his instantaneous teleportation was blocked as a blinding light was all there was to see.

It seared his eyes, it hid his body in the cataclysmic breath that followed. The light hid the purplish black breath of chaos as it collided with Alanʼs body, wearing his natural defenses down like they were nothing.

The mana that always covered his body, the aura in his dantian, the mana in his Winter Heart, until something finally happened.

His [Winter Heart] beat wildly, and time slowed down. But what help would the slowed time do? The skin on his chest, the muscles covering his bones, and the flesh hidden within were all gone.

The breath of chaos had ripped his very being away before the Winter Heart could even act, however, it did not mean everything was over.

The cry of a bird resounded, along with the grunt of a sleeping dragon. A moment before his flesh was evaporated, and his Dragon Heart was exposed, a layer of ice formed around it. Deep blue ice that one couldnʼt see through no matter what skills they used protected his heart.

The blinding light disappeared as the breath that had destroyed worlds in an instant vanished, leaving nothing in its wake. The black sand that ruled over the realm of shadows was gone, turned into purple miasma as thick as oil.

He walked over to the heart encased in dark blue ice, floating in the sea of purple miasma as the world bent to his will. He walked on the air, unperturbed, as he made his way to the breaking heart. Alanʼs heart was a mess, no longer a smooth crystal but now rough and brittle, filled with cracks.

The miasma broke apart, and ice emerged from beneath like chains, grabbing his limbs and stopping his advance. He merely grunted, and moved his arm, shattering the ice like it was nothing.

He advanced once more, the shackles formed by the power of a Supreme were nothing to his reality bending might as he moved forward, the bottomless abyss of his eyes stuck to the blue stone floating in the purple miasma.

Furthermore, he extended his hand upwards, and the purple circle above it coalesced into a crescent blade, thrown towards the cradle of blue ice.

However, it turned to ash a tornado of black and white fire arose from the depths of the purple sea of miasma, rising into the sky, a sight one could see across the entire realm of shadows. A pillar of black and white fire, the powers

It expanded, the power of the Eternal Fire, and Arielʼs own Lineage, threatened to devour him, but he did not move.

His scales withstood the power of death and Eternal fire, his being resisted Death and Life, rooted in place as flesh mended itself within the cradle of blue ice.

A pressure unlike any other descended from above, battling the purple miasma with black sand.
