The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2243: Chapter 2243: Doesn’t Like Children (Part 1)

Chai Qin’s gaze dimmed for a moment, but in the end, she could only offer a wry smile. It’s okay, she had already figured it out and wouldn’t get stuck in a dead end again. So, one day, she would win back the trust of the young master.

”How’s Second Cousin-in-law and the baby doing?” In the room, Yang Ruxin asked about Tian Jiarong’s situation while sipping porridge.

”The baby is fine. Second Cousin-in-law woke up yesterday morning, although she had a fever. Dao Xuzi administered acupuncture, and by last night the fever was gone. I heard she even has started producing milk now...” Gu Qingheng said with a laugh, ”You wouldn’t believe it, Second Cousin is quite dismissive of his son.”

”Because it’s not a daughter?” Yang Ruxin laughed as she heard.

”Not just because it’s not a daughter, but because the child caused a difficult birth for his mother,” Gu Qingheng shook his head as he spoke. ”Every time we meet, he talks about how he’ll discipline the boy in the future. But Second Cousin-in-law always makes him hold the baby, and he ends up handling the son carefully while pretending to disdain him...”

Yang Ruxin laughed too, ”Second Cousin is a good husband and will also be a good father in the future.”

”Xinxin.” Gu Qingheng, however, held Yang Ruxin’s hand, ”Why don’t we not have children in the future?”

Yang Ruxin frowned, ”Why?”

”Because...” Gu Qingheng glanced at Yang Ruxin, then lowered his eyes, ”Because I don’t like kids.”

Yang Ruxin put down her bowl of porridge and cupped his face with both hands, ”Look into my eyes.”

Gu Qingheng raised his eyes, but there was an obvious feeling of guilt.

”Do you really not like kids?”

”I...”

”Are you just scared because you saw Second Cousin-in-law’s difficult labor?” Yang Ruxin’s expression was serious.

Gu Qingheng hesitated for a moment and then nodded, ”Xinxin, if I had to choose between you and a child, I would choose you. Not having children would only be a regret, but without you, I couldn’t live.”

”Silly,” Yang Ruxin laughed, ”I won’t be in danger.”

”But...”

”I like kids,” Yang Ruxin’s gaze was firm, ”I especially like the idea of having our own child, Gu Qingheng. Look, I could handle such a severe case of labor. How could I let myself be in danger?”

Gu Qingheng widened his eyes, looking at Yang Ruxin.

”Trust me, we will grow old together.” Yang Ruxin rubbed his face, ”Besides, not everyone encounters difficult births, so don’t worry.”

Gu Qingheng said nothing, only pulling her tightly into his arms.

Yang Ruxin lay on Gu Qingheng’s shoulder, but inside her heart, she sighed. The blood mole on her palm was still bright, but why was its response getting weaker? Hopefully, when she has a child in the future, her superpower will still be there.

But given the current situation, she needed to hurry back to the village and move out the treasures in her space; otherwise, if the space disappeared and took everything with it, what a pity that would be.

Shu Zhe’s son’s name was Shu Fan, given by Shu Xing.

Yang Ruxin stayed at the Shu Family for a few more days, went through Fanfan’s third-day ceremony, and only after seeing both the child and mother completely stabilized did she bid farewell once more.

Of course, at the third-day ceremony, she also saw Shu Chang and her husband Xi Mu.

Gu Qingheng actually got along very well with Xi Mu, as if they regretted not having met sooner, which made the Shu Family even happier.

So, without lingering in Huanghua County, they headed straight for Yunmen Mountain.
