The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2037: Chapter 2037: Not Her Real Father

Yang Ruxin didn’t speak, just looked at the other person.

Xu Zhengya bit her lip, suddenly knelt down with a thud: ”Madam, Xiaoya was wrong, please forgive me.”

”It’s good you know your mistake, get up.” Yang Ruxin smiled a little.

Xu Zhengya clearly did not expect Yang Ruxin to let her go so easily, she was momentarily stunned, but when she looked up and met her smiling face, she immediately breathed a sigh of relief. The other party was really not angry, and she hurriedly stood up.

”What do you want to see me for?” Yang Ruxin raised an eyebrow slightly.

”I want to marry my father...”

”Cough cough...” Yang Ruxin choked on her own saliva, child, what you said is terrifying, that’s incest.

”Xu Shifei is not my biological father.” Xu Zhengya’s little face turned red, ”I am the daughter he picked up.”

”Oh.” Yang Ruxin patted her chest exaggeratedly, ”Gave me a fright.”

Xu Zhengya bit her lip: ”My mother died when I was three, my father later married a stepmother, but the stepmother thought raising me was a waste of food, so when I was five, she sold me, but I escaped, but fainted from hunger on the road, it was Xu Shifei who saved me and took me home... He asked me to call him father, but I knew he wasn’t my father. I was originally surnamed Xu, I hated this surname, but he is also surnamed Xu, so I was happy instead. From the moment he picked me up, I swore that when I grew up I would marry him...”

”But he is indeed quite old, has he never had a wife before?” Yang Ruxin found such stories quite easy to accept.

”He had a wife, but before he found me, she died in childbirth.” Xu Zhengya sniffed, ”Everyone says he’s unlucky, says he jinxes wives, but I know he is a good person...”

Yang Ruxin nodded slightly.

”I said before, if a woman is willing to marry him before I grow up, I won’t cling to him, but until now no one is willing to marry him...”

”But, do you think what you feel for Xu Shifei is love or gratitude?”

”I don’t know.” Xu Zhengya shook her head, ”But I just know I want to take care of him, I just want to be with him, I want to have children for him, I’m not afraid of dying in childbirth...”

Yang Ruxin indeed felt touched, so this Mr. Xu had such a story, she then nodded: ”Your courage is commendable, but it’s very clear, Xu Shifei does not want to marry you.”

”It’s alright, anyway I want to stay by his side.” Xu Zhengya looked at Yang Ruxin, ”Madam, will you let me stay? I promise to be obedient and not create trouble, as long as you nod, he can’t kick me out, I’ve traveled all over, wherever I could, to find him...”

Yang Ruxin scratched her head.

”Madam, I beg you.” Xu Zhengya suddenly knelt down again, ”If I leave him, I feel like I can’t live...”

”Okay, but...”

”I know, you don’t keep idle people.” Xu Zhengya immediately smiled, ”I will help with cleaning, and take care of the scholars in the academy, I can wash and mend clothes too...”

”Fine, as for your wages, I’ll have the butler sort it out with you...”

”No need, I...” Xu Zhengya was just about to shake her head, then suddenly stopped, then happily nodded, ”Thank you madam, I will work hard.” She then bowed, and hopped away.

”Madam, do you really want to match them together?” Chun Hua looked at Yang Ruxin with some surprise.
