The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1714: Chapter 1714: Opening a Bar (4)

”Then let’s reinvent ourselves.” Yang Ruxin spread her hands, ”Turn it into a wine bar. I can supply you with red wine...” There’s already a restaurant and teahouse over at the Eighth Prince’s place, so we might as well have a place specifically for drinking.

”A wine bar?” Qi Jingyi frowned.

”It’s a place where after everyone’s had their fill, they want to find some entertainment, but don’t want to be criticized or caught doing something wrong. That’s where the wine bar comes in.”

Qi Jingyun watched Yang Ruxin eloquently explain, and while his expression remained calm, waves of ripples stirred in his heart. This woman’s mind seemed to have endless ideas, working with her was definitely a wise decision.

”The bar will only offer various drinks and snacks, no meals. There can be girls or young lads to serve drinks, but strictly limited to pouring drinks, chatting, or playing music and reciting poetry. Absolutely no physical contact or anything going further... The Prince is a smart man. I’ve laid out the idea, so I shouldn’t need to say more about execution, right?”

”Alright.” Qi Jingyun nodded, ”See, partnering with you was the right choice.”

Yang Ruxin rolled her eyes.

”I’ll head back to find a suitable shop, but as for the decor, I’ll need you to design it.” Qi Jingyun looked at Yang Ruxin with a mischievous gleam in his eyes.

Yang Ruxin nodded, ”Sure.”

But Qi Jingyun didn’t move.

”Aren’t you leaving?”

”I haven’t eaten yet.” Qi Jingyun instead sat back down.

Yang Ruxin frowned, restraining her irritation at his presumptuousness, and instructed Chun Hua at the door, ”Go to the kitchen and bring some food over.”

”I want you to cook personally.” Qi Jingyun frowned.

”Eat it if you like, if not, leave it.” Yang Ruxin rolled her eyes again and then turned to leave. At the door, she reminded Du Chengxiu, ”Uncle Du, if he wants to eat, let him eat. If not, see him out...” Then she went to her room to pack.

”Yes.” Du Chengxiu answered loudly.

Yun Xiu inside couldn’t hold back anymore, ”Prince, this woman is too arrogant, I...”

Qi Jingyun raised a hand, ”I told you already, she has the capital to be arrogant.”

Yun Yang signaled Yun Xiu that it’s best to stay silent for now.

Soon, three bowls of noodles were brought in, simple hand-rolled noodles topped with scallions and some shredded meat.

”I’m not sure if the esteemed guest likes it spicy. You can add the chili sauce as you like...” Du Chengxiu said as they placed the items, bowing respectfully to Qi Jingyun, ”And here’s also vinegar and soy sauce dishes...”

Qi Jingyun nodded, ”Thank you for your trouble.”

”Our young miss said, today’s noodles are on the house for the esteemed guest, no charge.” Du Chengxiu added another line.

”Cough, cough...” Qi Jingyun choked on his first bite, then looked up incredulously, ”She still wants to charge?”

”Our young miss said the landlord’s family doesn’t have extra food to be overly generous...”

Qi Jingyun coughed hard once, then calmed down, finished the noodles, left a piece of Silver on the table, and decided to leave. Staying any longer might just get him steamed up to death.

”Young miss, they’ve left.” Du Juan entered to report.

Yang Ruxin nodded, then sighed, knowing there would likely be more trouble to come, ”Gather Uncle Du and Gu Yuan and the others.”

Soon, everyone was gathered.

”I’m planning to head to the capital the day after tomorrow. The round trip will likely take about a month.” Yang Ruxin looked at everyone seriously, ”I’m entrusting my home and family to all of you...”
