The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1707: Chapter 1707: Punishment (3)

”Eldest Miss, this servant was wrong...” Chunchun immediately panicked when she heard this, crawled over wanting to grab Yang Ruxin’s skirt, ”I beg you to save me, from now on I will truly be honest and straight, please, I beg you...”

Chun Hua quickly stepped forward and kicked her away. She knew that this person simply didn’t understand her own soft-heartedness, she even scolded herself just now, besides, this is also something a maid should do for her mistress.

It must be said that from this moment, Chun Hua truly began to become a qualified maid.

”Eldest Miss, I was ravaged by the Yuan people, even the Crown Prince said we should be treated kindly...” Chunchun suddenly shouted, ”Aren’t you afraid others will find out the way you treat me...”

”Heh.” Yang Ruxin let out a cold laugh, ”Didn’t I risk my life to save you all back then, then give you a stable and affluent life, isn’t what I did enough?” Saying this, she bent over and pinched Chunchun’s jaw, ”Huang Chunchun, you should understand, I owe you nothing... As for you, fortunately, I was always on guard, otherwise if you had succeeded, my family might have fallen apart, and now I wouldn’t be able to face my Godmother... Is this how you repay your lifesaver?”

Chunchun swallowed her saliva.

”Not letting you live a fate worse than death is already merciful of me.” Yang Ruxin threw her to the ground with a single move, ”I didn’t fail to give you chances, it is you who repeatedly refused to change your ways, so blame yourself for your downfall.”

Chunchun immediately wilted, regretting? She truly regretted it, but it was too late!

Soon, three old women came in, dragged her outside to the courtyard, placed her on a long bench, and gave her ten strokes with a paddle, then called in a slave trader to sell her off overnight.

Such a servant would have no good place to go after being handed over to a slave trader, most would be sold to the lowest brothels and the like, their fate imaginable.

What’s more, those ten paddle strokes just now were delivered without any mercy, it would take months to recover.

Yang Ruxin was actually a bit uncomfortable, a girl as pretty as a flower, such an outcome... But she also knew she had given Chunchun too many chances, if she softened and spared her, then those under her would never be loyal, and in the future, she might be betrayed by her at any time.

Yuan Mengzhu was somewhat reassured by Yang Ruxin. Her greatest fear was her blind soft-heartedness, now it appeared she could distinguish between priorities.

After returning to the village, Chun Hua took the initiative to find the Ye Family, and in the end, was punished by being made to kneel for four hours and had her salary deducted for a month.

Chun Hua accepted the punishment wholeheartedly.

Yang Ruxin didn’t hide from everyone why Chunchun was being sold off, instead, she clearly and openly announced it, and warned everyone that if they couldn’t be honest and loyal in their duties, if they couldn’t be loyal to their masters, Chunchun’s fate would be theirs as well.

Everyone’s minds began to undergo subtle changes.

Everyone knew the Eldest Miss was benevolent and righteous, she hardly ever punished anyone, and her requirements weren’t strict; usually, even the ways of addressing were quite informal, let alone ceremonies or kneeling, there was basically none, whether madam or several young misses and masters, many tasks were done personally, if not said, actually, no one could tell who was master and who was servant, so working as a servant here was actually very easy.

However, with this event, everyone understood that it wasn’t that the Yang Family was easy to bully, but that the masters were tolerant, but this tolerance had its limits.
