The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 497: Chapter 497: Apology (1)_1

But before she could finish her words, a slap sent Dong Family’s madam spinning and then she fell to the ground with a thud.

Not only was the person who was hit shocked, but the two people lying in the room were startled too. Yang Baifu even propped himself up to take a look outside, and when he saw that it was Dong Family’s madam who had been hit, he quickly lay back down and closed his eyes.

Yang Ruxin shook her hand that hurt from the slap and glared at Dong Family’s madam, ”Dong Hongmei, dare you say it again, who is the bastard?”

Zhou Xiao had actually heard words like ”wild child” and ”bastard” before. Some people in the village gossiped that he and his siblings were bastards, but he didn’t care. As long as his sister Sanni and the others liked and accepted him, it didn’t matter what anybody else said.

So now he hurried over, took Yang Ruxin’s hand, and blew on it, ”Sister Ruxin, don’t be angry. It doesn’t matter what irrelevant people say.”

Yang Ruxin patted Zhou Xiao’s head in relief, ”My brother, no one can talk about him, especially not unrelated people.”

Zhou Xiao then smiled, revealing a set of pearly white teeth.

Yang Dongshi shivered. After her outburst, she immediately knew she had misspoken, but it was too late to take it back, and she certainly didn’t dare to repeat it.

At this moment, Wang Zhenggang happened to walk in. He was just about to leave and visit a neighboring household where an old man had a bad stomach from eating something wrong. But then, the Feng Family came over to inquire about Yang Baichuan’s condition, which delayed him a bit. As soon as he left, Yang Ruxin arrived, and now, when he came back hearing the girl hadn’t left yet, he promptly went to the back. Both property documents were still tucked in his chest.

When he reached the backyard, what he saw was the young girl unleashing her anger and hitting someone. He didn’t make a sound, just stood there and watched. In his opinion, these people of the Yang Family were asking for it and deserved the suffering.

Seeing Wang Zhenggang, Yang Ruxin couldn’t bother with Dong Family’s madam any longer, but she also didn’t want to let her off so easily, ”Apologize to Dabao.”

”What?” Dong Family’s madam looked up in surprise.

”Dong Hongmei,” Yang Ruxin enunciated every word as she repeated herself, ”You are going to apologize to Dabao for what you just said. Don’t make me say it a third time.”

In truth, Dong Family’s madam didn’t understand. Why was Yang Dani taking this so seriously over a child, and one with an unknown background at that? But to avoid getting hit again, she could only look at Zhou Xiao, ”I’m... I’m sorry...”

Yang Ruxin looked at Zhou Xiao.

”Let’s go, Sister Ruxin,” Zhou Xiao stretched out his hand and took Yang Ruxin’s, completely indifferent to Dong Family’s madam.

Yang Ruxin nodded her head.

Wang Zhenggang watched Yang Ruxin approaching, not planning to go to the sickroom since he just checked it in the morning and had changed the medicine; it wasn’t time yet. So, he followed Yang Ruxin back to the main hall in front.

”Here are the property documents,” Wang Zhenggang handed the documents to Yang Ruxin, ”What are your plans?”

”Nothing for the moment,” Yang Ruxin shook her head, ”But don’t worry, I’ll have plans soon.”

”As long as you’re not opening a pharmacy, I’m at ease,” Wang Zhenggang laughed softly.

”Haha...” Yang Ruxin laughed too, ”Don’t worry, I won’t be opening a pharmacy.” She couldn’t even take a pulse at the moment, her knowledge of herbs was limited to the ones in the Collection of Herbs, and she didn’t know how to prescribe medicine, how could she open a pharmacy? Besides, she had no interest in being a Doctor in ancient times. ”By the way, Uncle Wang, could you prepare a few doses of medicine for warming a woman’s womb, with no side effects... ”

Wang Zhenggang glanced at Yang Ruxin, asked no questions, turned around to write the prescription, and had Wang Xiaohu prepare it right away.
