The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 476: Chapter 476: Two Choices (5)_1

Little did she know, until she sifted through her belongings, just how many items she had amassed over the days. There was a wide variety of items, indicating her considerable lack of security.

Although she found many seeds suitable for planting, the limited land meant she could only cultivate four types of crops, and so, she had to choose carefully.

First off, she took out a Hundred-year Ginseng. One of the plots would be devoted to ginseng; it was valuable. If she could harvest a few hundred roots, she’d be rich. However, since she didn’t have ginseng seeds, she simply planted the whole ginseng, leaving its growth to fate.

She decided to plant grains in another plot, opting for wheat, so she would always have flour. Although wheat was available in her space, she’d never farmed before and had no idea how to grow wheat, so she just scattered a handful of wheat seeds on the ground.

The third plot was for fruit trees. The variety of fruit during this era was quite rich. She had pears, hawthorns, persimmons, and more in her space. Eventually, she bit into a pear and tossed the core into the ground, thinking that pears were good for eating, selling, and even for making jam and juice.

She reserved the last plot for vegetables, choosing to plant radishes, which, like cabbage, were versatile vegetables for the common folk, good both raw and cooked. The radish greens could also be eaten or used to feed chickens and rabbits. Similarly, she buried an entire radish right into the soil.

”I hope there will be a harvest,” Yang Ruxin patted her hands, ”but it would be even better if this place could also raise pigs, chickens, ducks, and fish.”

However, her mind then remained void of any further information, it was probably turned off by her ”greed” again. But she didn’t care, laughed with a ’heihei’, and then left the space.

Moonlight spilled through the window, bathing the quiet farmhouse courtyard in a serene glow.

With the function activated, the birthmark in her palm returned to its normal, tranquil state.

Yang Ruxin glanced over the people lying in rows on the kang bed, pulled up the quilts of Sanni and Zhou Ying, then closed her eyes.

After a goodnight’s sleep, she got up early the next morning along with her siblings and followed Gu Yao for training. After that, she returned to prepare breakfast. Once they had eaten, she began reading.

Of course, the Qi family brothers also curiously joined in with her activities.

However, Yang Ruxin noticed that after breakfast, Gu Yao was nowhere to be found.

”Focus on your writing,” Gu Qingheng tapped on the table.

Every day, Yang Ruxin still had one-on-one lessons with Gu Qingheng. This was a tacit agreement, a time of solitude needed by both of them.

”How do you know I’m not focusing?” Yang Ruxin glanced at Gu Qingheng. How could he know what she was doing even without seeing? This man was shaking her confidence.

”I just feel it,” Gu Qingheng laughed, ”and I also know what you’re thinking about. Are you looking for Ayao?”

”What did you have him do?” Yang Ruxin’s interest was piqued.

”You guess...”

But Yang Ruxin suddenly leaned forward and pecked his lips swiftly, ”Do you still want me to guess?”

Gu Qingheng was momentarily stunned by Yang Ruxin’s unexpected peck, his face turning red for a moment, but he quickly regained his composure and looked up at her, ”If you do that again, I won’t make you guess...”

”Then I won’t ask,” Yang Ruxin pretended to move away.

”Thinking you can just walk away after teasing me?” Gu Qingheng quickly grabbed her hand, pulled her up from the stool to sit on his lap, and said, ”Two choices: either you kiss me and I tell you, or I kiss you and you don’t find out...”
