I'm Secretly the Father of the Yandere Villainess's Daughter

As for Amelia, she was literally at the heart of the action. Her aunt had only met her yesterday through the communication crystal, but she refused to let Amelia look away for a single moment. She wanted to consume her with pure love and intense attention.

This was the first time Amelia experienced this type of genuine relatives’ kindness. It stemmed from warm feelings and pure love without political motives. As a former Empress, she certainly did not need all these clothes, paintings, and exaggerated gifts. She would likely leave and ignore most of them, but something moved deep within her soul.

She had fought dozens of brutal wars. She had achieved dozens of imperial political successes. She had enforced control through absolute power and dominance upon the throne of the Star Empire. Yet, she had never found anyone who loved her and rejoiced in her existence simply for who she was, just as her aunt Roselina was doing now. This matter made her small heart beat slowly, and an innate desire awoke to return this kindness and check on her sweet aunt’s health.

While her aunt sat unpacking the bags and enthusiastically pulling out various gifts, Amelia activated her innate, legendary eye feature: [Eyes of the Thousand Souls]. She decided to examine her aunt completely. She peered into the depths of her body and energy flow to see if she suffered from any hidden disease or spiritual ailment.

Roselina noticed the continuous staring. She laughed and said playfully, ”Oh little girl... why do you look at your aunt’s face so affectionately? Did my enchanting beauty captivate you? Do not worry, based on my artistic sense and beauty together, I predict you will grow up to be an absolute stunner just like me!”

Amelia did not respond. Instead, she continued to stare with deep intensity into her aunt’s features and the details of her head. Through the microscopic spiritual vision of the [Eyes of the Thousand Souls], she noticed the flow of a dark blue substance. It looked heavy, dense, and gathered stagnantly within her body pathways. Not only that, but she witnessed a massive, sudden surge of other minute particles inside the brain cells.

Thanks to her eyes, Amelia could see chemical secretions and interactions inside the brain as contrasting colors and spectra. When she was small at the beginning of her reincarnation, she had read a comprehensive medical book about human brain anatomy and functions in an ancient library. She realized that these glowing colors and particles are scientifically called hormones, and monitoring the changes in these hormone ratios gave her the terrifyingly accurate ability to read the psychological and physical state of the person sitting before her. She could know precisely when they were happy, anxious, or sad.

She redirected her hyper-focused gaze to that dense dark blue substance. In biology, this represented the newly flowing Human Chorionic Gonadotropin hormone. Beside it, a glowing substance resembling the color of orange carrots and a sky-blue hue was also remarkably elevated. These were progesterone and estrogen, accompanied by a unique fluctuation in several other hormonal colors.

According to her medical and educational background, there was only one unique biological state in the history of human females where the brain and body crowd with this dense, exploding momentum of harmonious hormones. It was pregnancy.

Amelia looked directly into Roselina’s eyes and said in a definitive, childish tone, ”Auntie... are you pregnant?”

A sudden, heavy silence befell the salon. Roselina, whose mouth was firing words, stories, and scandals moments ago like an endless waterfall, completely stopped talking. Her movements froze for several moments.

Roselina began to shake her head left and right in childish denial. She acted like someone trying not to believe what they just heard. In those seconds, she assumed Amelia’s words were just random, childish guesses with no basis in reality. However, she did not know why a powerful, strange internal feeling countered her assumption. The phrasing of the question and the sharp look in the child’s eyes carried a terrifying certainty that she was indeed pregnant.

Roselina tried to salvage the situation and smiled, saying with a shaky laugh, ”Hahaha... does little Amelia want a little cousin to play with in the palace? No, my little one... your aunt is not pregnant at all.”

Amelia shook her small head, completely denying her aunt’s words with heavy insistence, ”No, Auntie... you are completely pregnant right now, and your body is secreting the specific materials for it.”

Roselina caressed her niece’s hair and patted her shoulder, trying to end the subject, ”You are funny and your imagination is very vast, Amelia. I told you that your aunt is not pregnant, and I know my own body best.”

Amelia replied with imperial coldness and unwavering confidence, ”No, Auntie... Amelia possesses a rare innate ability called the [Eyes of the Thousand Souls]. Through it, I can see precise things and know details completely unknown even to the people I am looking at in this very moment! Isn’t Auntie married? Then this is the only explanation for what I see inside your head and body.”

Roselina was affected by the overwhelming tone of certainty in the child’s voice. She placed her hand on Amelia’s shoulder and pressed gently, saying in a testing, challenging manner, ”Alright... if Amelia truly possesses this wondrous magical ability and reads bodies, what is your aunt thinking about right now at this exact moment?”

Amelia redirected the focus of the [Eyes of the Thousand Souls] to the frontal lobe and neural pathways in her aunt’s brain. She found that three main hormones were secreted and flowing more broadly and brilliantly in the cells now. The first hormone was the chemical happiness hormone, dopamine. The second hormone was the hormone of deep attachment and affection, oxytocin. A third hormone, endorphin, had a less efficient glow but continued to flow as a pain reliever and mitigator.

The meeting and mixing of these three hormones in the brain carries very clear psychological readings in behavioral science. The most prominent reading in this situation was that the person is recalling a series of beautiful old memories. This is an emotional state known as nostalgia, or a sweeping yearning for the past when one remembers warm situations with someone close to their heart.

This conclusion was not based on hormones alone. Amelia detected repeated, bright electrical impulses and signals exiting the temporal lobe, specifically from the hippocampus region responsible for long-term memory retrieval, synchronized with clear activity in the amygdala, which is responsible for processing emotions linked to those memories.

Amelia said calmly, ”Right now, you are remembering old memories you lived in the past. Warm memories with someone. Someone very close to your heart, Auntie. It is a state of reclaiming the past, where you feel nostalgia and longing for those days.”

Roselina stopped moving entirely. Her voice cut off and her throat went dry. She looked at Amelia with shocked, bewildered, and fearful eyes. She no longer knew what to say or how to respond.

At this decisive moment, the salon door suddenly opened and Cain entered. He had spent the last half hour outside completing one of his routine System Sign-In missions as usual. He returned to them holding a large, ripe mango in his hand, biting from it with cold relish.

Roselina turned toward Cain instantly. She glared at him with sharp, piercing, and terrifying eyes that made Cain freeze in his place like a statue. His hand carrying the mango froze at his mouth, bewildered by this silent optical assault.

Cain lowered the mango slowly,

”What is the matter? Do you want some of it?”

Roselina spoke in a serious tone, her voice trembling from shock,

”This little daughter of yours... tells me with absolute confidence that I am pregnant! She claims she has a visual ability to see things... Cain... tell me honestly, did you force and teach your daughter strange terms and complex ideas just to play a prank on me and terrify me?!”

Cain looked with astonishment toward Amelia, who was settled beside her aunt. Instantly, he remembered the terrifying and unique ability, [Eyes of the Thousand Souls], which his daughter had tried to use on him before. If Amelia had examined Roselina with this eye that pierces the veils of matter and spiritual energy, her knowledge of a fetus or early pregnancy hormones was highly plausible and almost one hundred percent accurate.

Since Amelia would not lie about such a medical matter, and with the activation of the [Eyes of the Thousand Souls] ability...

Cain swallowed his bite and looked at his sister, saying,

”She is right, Roselina... Amelia’s words are accurate, and you are indeed pregnant.”

Roselina fell silent again. Her eyes widened in absolute bewilderment as she placed her hand upon her stomach.
