I'm Secretly the Father of the Yandere Villainess's Daughter

The Royal Capital.

Cain finally arrived in the capital, flanked by a grand entourage of his personal servants. He was dressed in an impeccably sharp, highly formal attire. Beside him, Amelia wore a charming black dress paired with a slightly oversized, elegant hat.

Lucy was also clad in a stunning dress; even while maintaining her ordinary disguise as Maxi, her sheer presence remained absolutely breathtaking.

They had been transported instantaneously via the teleportation gate system belonging to the nearby Magic Tower, arriving in the capital in a matter of seconds. However, the moment they stepped through the gates of the Magic Tower, they were greeted by a chaotic swarm of journalists.

The reporters’ voices grew deafeningly loud.

”Lord Duke! Was this massive move pre-planned by your estate, or was it a spontaneous decision after witnessing the citizens’ struggles in lines, aiming to create new methods for government services instead of those agonizingly slow queues?”

”Rumor has it that Princess Sylvia herself ordered the investigation into this matter... Is the Duke secretly involved in a relationship with the Princess?!”

Cain, along with everyone in his entourage, completely ignored the barking journalists. They were immediately escorted by an elite special forces unit. The heavy cavalry—consisting of elite two-star armored knights—easily pushed the reporters back, clearing a direct path.

Faced with the sheer pressure of these elite troops, not a single journalist dared to utter another word.

They were smoothly led toward a fleet of incredibly luxurious carriages.

”This will be your primary carriage, Lord Duke.”

A knight named Silver, who served as the commander of this elite division, stepped forward and gestured toward the most opulent carriage in the fleet.

”His Majesty the King has personally prepared a grand banquet to celebrate your arrival, and he will come in person to welcome you. You are free to choose any residence in the entire capital to stay for the night, regardless of the cost.”

Cain simply shook his head, declining the offer.

”There is no need for that. I already own a manor here in the capital. Isn’t the scheduled time for my speech shortly? We should head there immediately; there is no need to waste precious time.”

The knight nodded respectfully and signaled that the carriage was fully prepared.

Cain turned and gestured for Lucy and Amelia, who were standing slightly further back, to approach. At that moment, Lucy’s shoulders trembled slightly—a movement so subtle it was completely imperceptible to the naked eye.

Deep down, memories were resurfacing.

The Golden Lion Knights... These were the exact men who had once hunted her for miles. She had slaughtered countless numbers of them with her own bare hands, even leaving a permanent, mocking scar on the face of their strongest commander.

Technically, she was the official, number-one enemy of everyone residing in this capital.

Not that she genuinely cared, of course. If she truly desired, she could obliterate the entire capital, reducing it to absolute ash overnight.

However, looking at Cain now, he seemed like he was going to be incredibly busy, constantly surrounded by walls of people. ’How on earth am I supposed to steal a kiss from him under these conditions?’ she fretted internally, just before Cain waved them over.

”This is Lady Maxi and young Miss Amelia. They are under my strict, personal protection, and they will be riding in the same carriage with me.”

Commander Silver shifted his gaze toward the woman the Duke was referring to. She appeared utterly ordinary. Even when he discreetly tried to perceive her mana and check her power level, he felt absolutely nothing, leading him to assume she was just a common civilian.

But when his eyes fell upon the little girl, a cold shiver ran down his spine. She bore a striking, uncanny resemblance to someone he used to know... a terrifying entity who had nearly annihilated the entire Golden Lion Knights division.

However, he immediately dismissed the absurd thought. That infamous, wicked empress had been missing for a long time, and most factions believed she had already been killed.

Furthermore, the child possessed the distinct traits of the House of Oster—such as the raven-black hair and those sharp, aristocratic features. Thus, Silver concluded she was likely just a young relative of Cain.

There were no objections, regardless.

The carriage door was promptly opened by one of the servants, who bowed deeply the moment the latch released. The three of them walked toward the entrance, and Cain politely allowed Amelia and Lucy to board first.

Commander Silver was slightly taken aback by this gesture.

A lingering, suspicious doubt crept into his mind, but he forcefully brushed it aside. This was an official royal mission, not a place to indulge in baseless skepticism.

The heavy door clicked shut, and the horses instantly set off toward the palace. Amelia quickly opened the carriage window, gazing out to take in the breathtaking beauty of the capital.

Stunning architecture, men and women dressed in impeccably elegant attire... the entire scenery felt like a meticulously painted canvas celebrating absolute prosperity.

”I read in the history books that the Kingdom was once on the brink of total collapse,” Amelia remarked, sharing the information solely because she wanted to break the awkward, heavy silence between the two adults. ”But after the current King took the throne—who was originally just a backup heir after the former King was assassinated—prosperity flourished across every corner of the realm.”

She continued looking out, genuinely impressed. ”This made King Roman earn the title of ’The Greatest King,’ because in just three years, he accomplished what no other monarch before him could.”

To Amelia, the architecture was truly remarkable. Even the capital of her past Star Empire wasn’t designed with such aesthetic beauty.

Cain, however, merely curled his lips into a subtle, mocking smile internally.

In reality, the yandere sitting right across from him had completely obliterated the royal mana stone storehouses in the past, leading to the utter destruction of the capital’s infrastructure. It was solely because of Cain’s astronomical, bottomless wealth that the capital had been rebuilt from scratch. In fact, investments from the House of Oster accounted for roughly 90% of the capital’s entire infrastructure.

He hadn’t done it out of the goodness of his heart, either. King Roman had personally approached him in secret, literally dropping to his knees, begging Cain to join the Transmigrator Organization and aid his rule. Therefore, in practical terms... Cain was the absolute, true ruler of this Kingdom.

From the smallest facility to the grandest monument, his influence was absolute—though, naturally, no one knew this truth except for a select few trusted individuals, King Roman, and Sylvia.

Thinking of Sylvia made Cain’s expression darken slightly. She was incredibly annoying; no matter how much time passed, it seemed she simply refused to give up on him.

After a few moments, they finally arrived at the royal palace, stepping out of the carriage onto a plush red carpet—a completely foreign tradition that Cain himself had introduced to this world.

As they entered the palace interior, they were greeted with absolute reverence. Servants bowed in perfect unison, refreshments were immediately offered, and a high-ranking attendant gestured toward the fully prepared VIP section.

Cain immediately signaled for Lucy and Amelia to follow him.

”But, My Lord... there is someone already waiting for you upstairs,” a brave servant interrupted hesitantly.

Cain slowly turned his head, his cold gaze locking onto the man.

”What did you just say?”

The servant’s face instantly drained of color, turning a bizarre shade of pale. He began to violently lose his footing, and would have collapsed entirely on the spot if two other servants hadn’t swiftly materialized to catch him and carry him away.

”We deeply apologize for interrupting the Duke’s time. Please, have a wonderful evening!” another attendant stammered out, quickly stepping in.

Cain didn’t care in the slightest; in the end, it was just a nameless servant.

A replacement attendant immediately led them straight to the exclusive, high-security VIP chamber, swiftly exiting and shutting the heavy doors behind them.

Upon entering, they found Sylvia sitting alone alongside King Roman, who happened to be her uncle. The setting arrangement had been intentionally staged to give off a heavily forced, romantic atmosphere.

The King rose from his seat immediately, putting on a welcoming smile for Cain.

”How have you been, Lord Duke? What news do you bring these days...?”

As King Roman spoke, his sharp eyes instantly noticed the unexpected presence of two individuals who weren’t part of the original itinerary—an ordinary-looking woman and a small child. Knowing Cain’s terrifying true identity, the King was acutely aware that anyone standing by his side could not possibly be ordinary.

”Welcome, esteemed guests... How about one of the servants takes you on a grand tour to view the entire palace?” the King suggested smoothly.

Lucy watched the interaction, thoroughly astounded. She had heard tales of the iron-willed, unyielding King Roman... yet right now, the man appeared to be nothing more than a pathetic, groveling flatterer.

”No. They will be staying right here with us,” Cain commanded, his voice leaving no room for argument.

Sylvia clenched her fists tightly, desperately trying to conceal the sudden spike of tension running through her. Clad in an elegant dress, her golden hair cascaded perfectly, her sharp gaze radiating an aura of cold intelligence.

”Lord Cain, I specifically requested to speak with you in private...” Sylvia said, her voice dripping with calculated sweetness. ”Are you truly going to reject a request from... your future wife?”

Lucy’s shoulders violently trembled. His wife?! Who on earth does this woman think she is to utter such blasphemy?!

”Weren’t you the one who openly declared our engagement?” Sylvia continued, a smug undertone in her voice. ”We simply need to talk.”

Sylvia knew. The problem was, she genuinely possessed information. Her hyper-advanced intelligence network had already notified her of Amelia’s sudden birth, and the moment Lucy walked into the room, Sylvia’s sharp intellect instantly connected the dots. Since she refused to lose this competition, she decided it was time to play her ultimate trump card.

”Sylvia... learn who you are speaking to first,” Cain murmured, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper.

Boom!

An oppressive, suffocating wave of Cain’s raw pressure exploded within the confined room.

Moving with terrifying, imperceptible speed, Cain firmly placed his hand onto King Roman’s heavily trembling shoulder.

”Show your absolute submission.”

Without a single word, King Roman’s knees buckled under the immense weight, and he dropped heavily to the floor, kneeling flat before everyone in the room—an act of utter humiliation, completely unbefitting a king, yet forced by a power supreme.

Cain looked down at the shivering royals, his eyes cold as death. ”Did you somehow forget who dictates the hierarchy in this place?”
