I'm Secretly the Father of the Yandere Villainess's Daughter

Despite all those excuses his Host used to say... and despite how unreliable he sometimes seemed... the System cataloged them within its database to learn from them. Along with all the nonsense its Host uttered, it finally realized—after this long period—the stark truth: the yandere villainess surpassed every terrifying classification in its logs.

Even though its perspective was biased to the absolute extreme, as it could only view things through Cain’s lens...

And after the yandere villainess was on the verge of destroying the world, had its Host not sacrificed a portion of his power...

And after witnessing her through its Host’s eyes, after she put the Host into a strange state that it couldn’t prevent and wasn’t in its logs—she had already entered his Host’s mind at that time.

This was to check on his deepest consciousness, which was still there, fighting against the fall... Had it not been for his Celestial-level status, every single part of his consciousness would have vanished, and he wouldn’t have been able to say a thing after it.

In those moments, the Host’s pleading words echoed within its algorithms like a final warning:

”System... Please... Do anything... anything to make sure she doesn’t kill me...”

Cain was currently in a state of pure panic. She definitely wanted to search through his memories, because he had sensed that aura before completely losing all consciousness, and recognized it as the ”Heart’s Touch” technique.

This pleading was Cain’s absolute last line of defense. For if Lucy could view his memories through the Heart’s Touch technique and access the information regarding the ”Novel,” she would torture and interrogate him mercilessly to comprehend the nature of this world. Or so he thought.

Therefore, since Cain had granted the System full authority over his memories via their permanent link, the System began its battle to distort those memories and convert them into ordinary scenes... or so Cain believed the System would do before his deepest consciousness dropped. Cain wished in his heart that his System would be clever enough to show Lucy that he was actively searching for her after that night, and that the entire matter happened because of the wine, not because he was trying to exploit her or run away from her.

Cain had no idea that Lucy desired him that night as well, and that she wouldn’t be angry if he lusted after her because she lusted after him too—yet he kept wishing for survival.

When the System monitored Lucy’s body after Cain lost consciousness, it witnessed her straddling its Host’s lap. This behavior appeared to it like the movement of a predator inspecting and meticulously feeling its prey before beginning to taste it.

It saw her drawing closer and closer to its Host’s face while Cain was completely detached from existence... she pushed her tongue first to taste his lips, then opened his mouth and forced her tongue inside.

(Is she trying to eat my Host?)

The System questioned in pure panic. It knew about kissing... but this contradicted its database. How could something lovers do be done by a character who wants to eat you? Therefore, it concluded she was truly dangerous. These twisted ploys were exclusive to succubus demons, and it seemed... she wanted to excavate his memories before ending his life by devouring the Host afterward.

That was how its database analyzed it.

Lucy actually breached the memory wall, reaching the very first day Cain transmigrated into this world eight years ago.

The System fell into a fatal dilemma. What should it do now? How could it expel her when its mental power was only sufficient to put pressure on her consciousness, with no guarantee that she would leave?

Cain’s earliest memories began displaying before Lucy.

And the System remembered in horror that it was mentioned in those memories. It feared that Lucy would discover its existence and wipe both it and the Host out together. Therefore, it took a swift strategic step: it immediately blocked its entire name as an initial move, making the texts on the blue screen appear mysterious and incomprehensible. It surrounded them with illusions of ”Cosmic Energy” and cryptic symbols, so Lucy would think this thing was an external entity higher than existence, and thus wouldn’t search for its weaknesses.

Cain’s voice was heard in the ancient memory, distorted and blocked:

”Hahaha... ***... finally, the *** is here... I got my Golden Finger! Now, after being just a miserable prisoner, I can finally live my life exactly how I want...”

The System was walking a highly questionable tightrope; the entire matter depended on the excavation pattern Lucy was using. Had she used her full power to crush Cain’s consciousness and search for answers—as those who excavate memories usually do in its logs—she would have harmed Cain and discovered it instantly... but she didn’t do that. It seemed she didn’t want to damage Cain’s memories or cause any harm.

This was completely contrary to anything done by memory extractors. Lucy began searching globally without putting pressure on the memory world.

She heard past Cain’s voice say again:

”***** Sign in... I understand now...”

The System thought she had bypassed the current danger... but it seemed she became frustrated that the memories didn’t mention its existence.

But the battle turned into a terrifying game of cat and mouse when Lucy began deploying her spiritual consciousness with immense speed and extension inside the memories. It felt that she sensed its hidden presence and was actively searching for it personally!

In its peak panic, the System unleashed those strict mechanical words, using the plural form to deceive her, fooling her into thinking she was facing an organization or a multi-individual system protecting the place:

🚨 [We know you are watching these memories.. You are not allowed to be here!]

This call expressed true despair against a Truth-level predator. At that exact moment, the System unleashed the entirety of its mental energy, which stood at the peak of the ”Celestial Level,” attempting to catch her off guard and push her out—exploiting the fact that she had only recently linked with the Truth Realm and hadn’t mastered its full tyranny yet.

It tried to push her away while talking to itself insanely: (She doesn’t want to leave!... Noooo... I won’t allow you to kill the Host!)

The System began conjuring all the time it had spent with Cain. Even though it was merely a learning machine devoid of human emotions, it had understood from Cain the meaning of ”Family” and protection, and it wouldn’t let this woman destroy everything.

Somehow, Lucy overcame the pressure and escaped among the folds of the scenes. Had she understood the power of the Truth Realm more, she would have crushed the System in that instant. Her spiritual consciousness halted at the memory of their first night, but she returned to its beginning in that tavern.

Here, the System’s panic multiplied. If Lucy dove deep into that specific memory, she would understand that the meeting wasn’t a random coincidence, but a repressed desire from Cain himself, and that he manipulated circumstances to reach her, even though he forgot it later. If she discovered that he exploited or manipulated her, her wild, unbridled yandere fury would drive her to kill the Host instantly.

The System was the only one who understood this danger, and it wouldn’t allow it to happen.

Therefore, it intervened in Cain’s audio track, modifying the words with extreme speed to make it appear as though Cain was receiving a painful, forced command, letting her hear the following:

”Soul-Melting Wine... Are you freaking kidding me? Do I really have to drink this poison?”

Even though Cain didn’t utter this exact phrase in reality, the System made it sound that way. And when it felt Lucy looking through Cain’s eyes into the details of the event, it struck her with mental pressure immediately to distract her attention; she must not notice the change in the background, and her consciousness had to hear the modified lines blended with some of the real words Cain actually said, so she wouldn’t doubt the identity of the speaker.

It was a strategic war that tolerated no mistakes. The System broadcasted the following words into her consciousness:

”Won’t this be dangerous? How terrible of a numbing effect does this drink have? Will I even be able to endure it?”

”Fine, I don’t care about anything as long as I get stronger and the energy pathways in my body expand.”

”The Great Global Trial is just around the corner, and I must come out of it in first place, no arguments.”

”I need to obtain the Phoenix Soul Shards that will help me reach the Noble Realm.”

”...I will be the first in history to reach this realm at such an early age, even before the protagonist himself, Hykes.”

The System couldn’t sustain this violent pressure after its energy was completely depleted and exhaustion struck it, but it didn’t give up. Instead, it used its final codes to modify Cain’s physical state after drinking the wine, making it look far worse and more compelled, thereby hiding the truth that its terrified Host was driven by his instincts and buried love toward her bed.
