I'm Secretly the Father of the Yandere Villainess's Daughter

”Oh my God...”

Cain clutched his forehead. A sharp headache pressed against his temples. On the other side of the crystal, Roselina wore a wide, enthusiastic grin. She was talking to Amelia. She interrogated her without pause.

In those moments, Cain was praying in his secret mind. He prayed with all the strength he possessed. He hoped his daughter wouldn’t utter a single word. Not a stupid word, nor an overly intelligent one. Anything could implicate him again. Anything could bring trouble down upon his head.

He dreaded his sister. She was becoming an imminent security threat to him. She was a threat to the entire palace. With her stupidity, she might state the truth in front of Lucy. She might say that he was Amelia’s father. That would cause the Blood Empress to turn everything upside down. She would slaughter them all in a fit of rage!

But the real problem wasn’t Amelia. It was Roselina. She didn’t grant either of them a single chance to explain. She didn’t give them even a second to interpret anything consciously.

She had spoken to him five minutes ago with a cold face. Her tone was commanding. She told him to hand the magical crystal to Amelia immediately. Thereafter, she began her fierce ambush. She fired dozens of consecutive questions at the child. She asked about her toys. She asked about her favorite foods. She asked who her favorite character was in exciting children’s stories.

She didn’t stop there. She kept inserting provoking phrases. ”I know your father is a despicable, dry man. But he is kind-hearted from the inside after all. You can easily deceive him. You can get whatever you want. Just display your cuteness and innocence before him...”

The tragedy did not stop here. Roselina began telling her details. They were stupid and embarrassing details from the childhood of this original body’s owner!

Cain could almost swear in his depths. He was never this foolish. When he transmigrated, he materialized into this body. But he had never done any of these mentioned childish follies. He never stole other children’s toys at family parties. He never destroyed the guard dog’s house. He never locked several poor cats in a narrow cage just because one of them scratched him during play!

Cain was thinking with absolute seriousness. He wanted to use his power. He wanted to go directly to that girl in her pavilion. He wanted to shut her mouth with his hand. He had to stop her before she told Amelia other things. Things that were even more stupid and embarrassing. Things that he personally had never done in his life.

Roselina laughed through the crystal. ”Hahaha... I truly enjoyed talking with you, little one. It seems this despicable man, Cain, didn’t introduce you to us previously. It is because of his vileness. It is because of his love for hiding secrets... I know him well. The Auster nature in him is no secret to me. Your aunt will tell you other stories. Exciting and shameful stories about him. I will tell you when I come to visit you very soon!”

Cain was on the verge of erupting with fury. He thought about contacting ”Michael.” Michael was Roselina’s husband. Cain wanted to tell him sharply to deal with his wife. She refused to stay silent. She was on the brink of ruining his plans...

The line closed. The magical connection severed. Instantly, Cain turned around. He struck the wall of the hall with his fist. He used immense force. The rock completely fractured into fine spiderweb patterns. He struggled heavily to calm his ragged breathing. He tried to soothe his surging heartbeat.

Amelia was completely dumbfounded. She was shocked by this human hurricane named her aunt. She opened her mouth for a moment in shock. Then, she closed it again. She truly did not know what to say to her father in this critical situation.

In reality, she had said almost nothing throughout the five minutes. She only uttered brief, childish phrases like: ”Oh... really?..” and ”That’s wonderful...” and ”Yes, yes...”

Amelia couldn’t keep up with her loud aunt’s words. Initially, she wanted to play along with her parents’ charade. She wanted to pretend she was just a child. A child who didn’t know the truth of her lineage. But it seemed her aunt didn’t care about her responses. She didn’t care about explanations at all. She took the leadership position instantly!

In the end, the line was closed. Amelia stood there. She did not know what to feel precisely.

Should she feel astonished and bewildered? Her terrifying, tyrannical father possessed a normal childhood. It was a mischievous childhood filled with troubles. This shattered her old, stereotypical conception. She used to think the childhood of the powerful and kings was always fraught with blood. She thought it was filled with strict, harsh training. She thought it was about constant attempts to survive death and assassination.

Or should she feel a wave of warm happiness? Her aunt’s joy was real. She expressed her immense love. She wanted to come specifically to see her. She wanted to present gifts to her.

Or should she step forward? She felt she should console her father Cain. He seemed to be in a highly terrible mental state. He stood far away. He stared at the fractured wall. He was thinking deeply. It was as though he carried a heavy burden. The burden of protecting the entire world upon his shoulders. She didn’t know...

Amelia moved two steps forward. She spoke in a low, feigned tone. ”I am extremely sorry, Lord Duke... Your sister mistakenly believed that I am your real daughter. It is because of my features...”

She needed to complete the charade intelligently. She wanted to show him something. She was still continuing the role of the innocent child. The child who didn’t know yet that he was her actual father.

But it seemed her father Cain was completely absorbed. He was lost in his dark thoughts. He still looked at the ground. He felt deep regret. It was a funny sorrow resulting from the scandals revealed by his sister.

A few moments later... Amelia was highly exhausted. She was weary from the arduous sword and mana training. She had already entered the private pavilion. It belonged to her and her mother.

There, her mother Lucy was sitting. She was in her enchanting true form. Her silky white hair cascaded over her shoulders. She reclined comfortably under the warm blanket. She was on the grand royal bed.

She was wearing ”Enhanced Focus” glasses. They were of a pleasant magical nature. They are considered a rare item of the Noble Level. She was holding a book with total seriousness and interest. The book had a highly strange cover. It bore an extremely long title:

”If your husband tries to escape from you after you used the methods of the book: How to Tame Your Husband and Make Him Love You Like a Mature, Open-Minded Woman”

It turned out that this book was by a specific author. It was the very same famous author that Lucy had read from previously. Lucy had become a highly devoted follower. She watched for this author’s publications. She felt something through the lines. They shared identical interests. They had closely matching ideas in methods of possessiveness and emotional control!

Amelia entered. Lucy emerged from her deep state of focus. She pulled her gaze away from the book’s pages. She looked at her daughter. She wore a highly affectionate and brilliant smile. She spoke in a sweet tone. ”How are you after today’s sword training with Cain? Do you feel exhausted? Is it a heavily burden, my little one?”

Amelia took off her heavy training clothes. They were in a pitiful state. They were full of dust and sweat... Within a matter of seconds, her mother Lucy acted. She cast an advanced purification and cleanliness spell upon her. It happened in the blink of an eye. Her entire body became clean. Her skin felt refreshed. It was a single, amazing magical moment.

Amelia changed into new sleepwear. It was beautiful and comfortable. She climbed up. She sat beside her mother on the bed. She drew her legs tightly to her chest. A clear space of anxiety manifested on her childish features. She looked disturbed.

Lucy noticed this instantly. She caressed her cheek. She spoke tenderly.

”Is there anything troubling my sweet little girl’s mind? Tell Mommy..”

Amelia looked at her mother’s bright expressions. They sat under the warm lamp light. It was brilliant in the darkness of the room. She spoke in a low voice.

”In fact... Amelia feels very anxious, Mommy... Tomorrow, my father’s sister is coming. She spoke through the magical crystal. She said she will bring many precious gifts for me. She said this after she saw me. She strongly emphasized one thing. She said that I am the daughter of her brother Cain...”

Lucy became extremely happy. She felt highly invigorated upon hearing this unexpected news. The recognition of the child by Cain’s family meant a lot. It was a massive step toward solidifying her status. It would make her a legitimate wife in the near future! She wondered in surprise within herself. What could possibly worry her daughter about this beautiful matter? It was a promising thing.

Amelia continued. Her expressions were sorrowful and carefully feigned. ”But... my father sighed after the connection. He told me that he was extremely sorry. He said his sister mistakenly believed that I am his daughter.. He clearly asked me to play along with the matter. He wants me to pretend that I am his daughter. He said it is just for the sake of courtesy. It will last until his sister departs from the palace...”

Lucy looked at Amelia’s broken expressions. She felt her heart squeeze with rage. It squeezed with deep sorrow. Her daughter believed something painful. She thought her father refused to recognize her lineage directly before the world. She attributed it to his outward detachment.

Instantly, all of Lucy’s latent wrath awakened. Absolute evil stirred in her depths. It turned toward that despicable, mysterious entity... The entity that threatened Cain in his consciousness. The one that forcibly prevented him from recognizing his child and wife. The one stopping them from living together in peace!

But she calmed her spirit. She took a deep breath. She imposed her consciousness upon the ”Truth Realm” energy. She spoke within herself. Her tone was full of a murderous promise:

’My new forbidden technique, [Soul Touch], is beginning to approach maturity. It is nearing actual perfection... In just three months, it will be completely accomplished. It will pierce through all cosmic veils.. And then, all of this hidden play will end. I will wipe this wretched, unknown entity out of existence. I will reclaim Cain to my embrace. I will do it despite the nose of destiny itself.’

Lucy turned to her daughter. She smiled with a serpentine gentleness. ”Do not worry, Amelia.. Your father loves you more than you think. I will make this situation pass in peace.. Sleep now with ease.”

Amelia didn’t know what to say.. She was merely following Cain’s instructions. He had told her to tell her mother one thing. They would play the role of father and daughter before his sister... And she must tell her this as though it were just a small charade for her mother..

Cain had said to utter these words. She couldn’t understand the reason behind them. But now, she could see something. A highly dangerous aura was emanating from her mother... This made her worry a little.
