Supreme Star Card Master

Chapter 35: Chapter 35 Dragon Armor Blade Chapter 35: Chapter 35 Dragon Armor Blade After the trial ended, Su Yuan returned to his normal school life.

Since his awakening during the winter break, Su Yuan had been in various battles, hardly taking any rest and never settling down to cultivate in peace.

Now that his life had calmed down a bit, he could focus on his cultivation.

More than half of the Star Apprentice Class’s courses were specialized subjects, including Star Power cultivation, skill practice, and martial arts training, in addition to the academic courses.

To speed up his cultivation and reach the Ninth Stage as soon as possible, Su Yuan applied to his homeroom teacher, Yang Jun, to switch all his specialized courses to personal Star Power cultivation.

Yang Jun already knew of Su Yuan’s astonishing skill talent.

Even if Su Yuan hadn’t said anything, Yang Jun would have suggested that Su Yuan focus his cultivation on Star Power.

Moreover, on the day the trial ended, Wang Haiping had personally instructed him to give Su Yuan more freedom, including reducing some specialized courses and allowing Su Yuan to leave school for a few days if necessary.

After all, Wang Haiping thought Su Yuan might need to go to the Great Barbarian Mountain Area to hone his skills.

A week later, at Guangchuan Fourth Middle School, in Yang Jun’s office.

Su Yuan carefully took a green Star Card handed over by Yang Jun.

“Thank you, Teacher Yang.”

“You’re the first in the trial; this is something you deserve!” Yang Jun patted Su Yuan on the shoulder with a smile, encouraging him, “Keep it up, Su Yuan!”

Su Yuan nodded, then stepped out of the office, closing the door behind him.

“So this is the green Weapon Card for the top three in the trial?”

Leaning against the wall, Su Yuan looked at the green Star Card given to him by Yang Jun with some anticipation.

[Dragon Armor Saber]

[Grade: Green]

[Introduction: Made primarily from White Rock Gold, blended with several First-level and Second Stage materials and a small amount of Black Dragon’s Claw nail powder.

It boasts extremely high hardness and sharpness.]

“Dragon Armor Saber, so this ‘Armor’ refers to ‘nail’ armor…” Su Yuan felt a bit speechless.

ƝονǤ0.ƈο

The name was a bit of a joke.

However, Su Yuan did not underestimate this Dragon Armor Saber.

On the contrary, as a top Star Beast species on Blue Sea Star, even a single nail of the Dragon Clan was a precious biological material!

Its hardness and sharpness were higher than most natural Second Stage ores!

Just a little inclusion in artifact refining significantly improved the quality of the finished Star Device.

Although Zhuang Xun’s black-red long sword had a special burning trait, the superior hardness and sharpness were the most important basic properties for all bladed weapons.

Simple and unadorned, this Dragon Armor Saber was definitely more valuable than Zhuang Xun’s black-red long sword.

Thanks, Director Wang…

Su Yuan smiled.

The trial’s rewards were taken from the Guangchuan Education Bureau’s inventory.

It was easy to guess that Director Wang had specifically arranged for Su Yuan to get this superior-quality [Dragon Armor Saber] Star Card.

Without hesitation, Su Yuan used his Star Power to communicate with the [Dragon Armor Saber] Star Card.

A green flash from the Star Card was absorbed into his body.

“Let me see, my first Star Device!”

Su Yuan extended his right hand.

A silver-gray long saber appeared in his hand with a flicker of light from his palm.

The saber felt cool to the touch.

It was three feet and two inches long, two fingers wide, and overall plain and unassuming.

However, one side of the blade was slightly darker in color.

From a distance, the blade’s edge appeared as a slender black line, indicating where the Black Dragon’s Claw nail powder had been used.

With a thought, Su Yuan directed his Star Power from the Star Power Vortex in his chest through his arm into the Dragon Armor Saber, feeling no resistance.

“As expected from a Star Device, the ease of Star Power infusion is incomparable to Mortal Iron!” Su Yuan felt very satisfied.

Previously, his E-3 long saber had poor Star Power conduction.

It could only manifest about 70% of the Star Power he infused, and felt sluggish in use.

But this Dragon Armor Saber was entirely different.

The Star Power flowed through it without any hindrance, like an extension of his own body.

“Let’s test it at the training ground!”

Full of joy, Su Yuan stowed the Dragon Armor Saber and headed quickly towards the Practical Combat Hall where the training ground was located.

The Practical Combat Hall at Fourth Middle School was a square building larger than an Olympic swimming pool, divided into several training grounds for martial arts, skill practice, and actual combat sparring.

In fact, Fourth Middle School’s Practical Combat Hall was comparatively small.

The Practical Combat Halls of various Star Power Academies were at least ten to twenty times bigger and more specialized.

Because of the training ground barriers set up in the Practical Combat Hall, students could practice and spar freely.

Once they entered the academy, the Practical Combat Hall would be one of the most frequented places apart from the dormitories and classrooms.

Soon, Su Yuan arrived at the Practical Combat Hall on the east side of the teaching building.

“Is that Su Yuan?

Look over there, Su Yuan is here!”

“Why is he here?

Didn’t he skip this class for many days?”

“I don’t know either.”

…

“Is that our Senior Su Yuan from the recent joint trial?”

“Yes, that’s him!”

“He’s so handsome, especially his eyes.

Those silver eyes are so beautiful!”

“Emmm, Little Yun, stop drooling.

You’re embarrassing us!”

…

It was class time.

The Star Apprentice Class One and Class Three from the senior year, along with a few sophomore and junior classes, were in the Practical Combat Hall.

After the joint trial, Su Yuan had become famous throughout Guangchuan City.

His trial score spread like wildfire in Fourth Middle School, and his feats were increasingly exaggerated.

For a while, he was even more popular than the specially recruited student, Chen Jiujun.

Feeling the curious, admiring, and reverent gazes in the Practical Combat Hall, Su Yuan didn’t pay much attention.

He just walked to an empty training ground.

Before long, Jiang Jun came over from a distance, “Su Yuan, aren’t you focusing on cultivating Star Power?

Why are you here?”

“I’m here to test out the Weapon Card.” Su Yuan said, raising his hand slightly to summon the Dragon Armor Saber.

Jiang Jun’s eyes lit up at the sight of the silver-gray long saber in Su Yuan’s hand, “Is this the Weapon Card from the trial rewards?

This saber looks plain but seems extraordinary.”

Also a long saber user, Jiang Jun couldn’t help but show a hint of envy.

Su Yuan was also looking forward to the power of this Dragon Armor Saber.

He immediately infused it with Star Power and found some Black Steel Stones near the training ground to test it.

With a few swift cuts, the saber slashed through the Black Steel Stone targets like cutting through tofu.

The cuts were smooth and shiny!

These sharp strikes stunned Jiang Jun and many students watching from a distance.

The Black Steel Stone had a hardness comparable to First-level materials; cutting through multiple pieces was incredible.

“As expected, it’s very sharp.

The previous E-3 long saber couldn’t even cut through one piece of Black Steel Stone, let alone several in a row!”

Su Yuan gently stroked the blade of the Dragon Armor Saber, which showed no signs of wear, feeling extremely pleased.

He had truly gotten a treasure!

At this moment, Chen Jiujun also approached from somewhere.

Fixing his gaze on Su Yuan, Chen Jiujun said in a deep voice, “Su Yuan, dare to duel with me?”
