Chapter 1064: Chapter 1063: Does a Traitor Deserve it?

”Show our guests out!”

After learning Wang Xiuxin’s true intentions, Li Qingcheng issued an order to dismiss them.

This naturally meant that Li Qingcheng did not agree to the request.

Seeing this, Wang Xiuxin, who was standing by, said, ”President Liu, why don’t we talk it over again?”

”What else is there to talk about? I will never agree to this request,” Li Qingcheng shook her head.

Standing to the side, Wang Yu also spoke up at that moment, ”President Liu, if we don’t talk, the crisis our company faces will be unsolvable!”

”If we run into a capital shortfall at this time, the company is very likely to face bankruptcy.”

Li Qingcheng looked at her coldly and sneered:

”Wang Yu, from the beginning with your matchmaking to now, your strong persuasions for me to exchange sixty percent of the company’s shares with Wang Xiuxin.”

”Do you really think I don’t know that you have been colluding with Wang Xiuxin in the dark?”

Wang Yu’s face changed dramatically.

However, she immediately sneered back, ”Li Qingcheng, how do you still have any right to talk to me in such a high and mighty tone?”

”Yes, just as you thought. I have long been Young Master Wang’s woman, and indeed, I did intend to facilitate your exchange of shares to Young Master Wang!”

”But why can’t you just be grateful? Why refuse and expose me? Since you’ve refused to drink a toast and instead insist on drinking a forfeit, then just wait for the company to go bankrupt...”

”Pop!” However, before she could finish her sentence, Li Qingcheng slapped her across the face.

At the same time, she bellowed angrily, ”Get out!”

Having been slapped across the face in public by Li Qingcheng, Wang Yu was initially stunned.

After regaining her senses, she let out a shriek, pleading desperately to Wang Xiuxin:

”Young Master Wang, she hit me, she hit me.”

”You have to stand up for me!”

”You have to repay her double!!!”

Wang Xiuxin felt awkward; he didn’t dare to hit Li Qingcheng.

He dared to use shady business schemes to take over the shares of Qingcheng International from Li Qingcheng.

But he would never dare to slap Li Qingcheng! Because if he really did so, then the slaps Lin Dong would give him would be even more numerous.

Perhaps Lin Dong could even slap him to death outright.

He pulled Wang Yu by the arm, pulling her away and consoling her:

”Xiao Yu, hitting people is what barbarians do. We are civilized people; we don’t do such things.”

”Let’s make her Qingcheng International go bankrupt. That’s the real revenge against her.”

”I promise you, within half a month, I’ll make Qingcheng International go bankrupt. Then, I’ll let you control Dragon Country’s cosmetics industry.”

Hearing this, Wang Yu nodded.

She then followed Wang Xiuxin out of the meeting room.

Before leaving, however, Wang Yu turned her head and said through gritted teeth:

”Li Qingcheng, just wait. The day I’ll be stepping over your head will come!”

Li Qingcheng scoffed:

”With you, a traitor?”

”Hmph, just with me. You just wait!” Wang Yu left.

After the two had left the door, Wang Yu immediately made several phone calls.

”Everyone come over!”

She and Wang Xiuxin stepped out of Qingcheng International’s main gate, but they didn’t go far, instead stayed to watch the drama unfold.

The calls she made were to some of Qingcheng International’s top distributors.

Soon, a group of distributors arrived at the base of Qingcheng International’s high-rise!

Under the leadership of the one in front, they shouted: ”We request President Liu to come out!”

The commotion quickly alerted Li Qingcheng and the other executives inside.

Soon, Li Qingcheng, leading a group of executives, arrived at the door.

No sooner had she appeared than the distributors loudly clamored:

”President Liu, we’ve come to return the products!”

Qingcheng International had previously signed a contract with the distributors to quickly expand. That contract stated that unsold ’Beautifying Powder’ could be returned.

The company would buy it back at ninety percent of the price.

This kind of ’return goods’ situation, had it occurred in the past when supply could not meet demand, would have been unthinkable.

Because everyone was worried they couldn’t get enough stock.

But now it was different, now because of Dadong Pharmaceutical’s ”Dadong Youth Cream,” they found their stock piling up.

And many of them had already made contact with Dadong Pharmaceutical, preparing to get their goods from there and become distributors for Dadong Pharmaceutical.

As for ’Beautifying Powder,’ they didn’t want to handle it anymore!

Seeing this scene, Li Qingcheng said in a stern voice:

”When you begged to become our distributors at Qingcheng International, now that you see Qingcheng International suppressed, each of you wants to kick us while we’re down. It seems you don’t wish to continue cooperation with us in the future, do you?”

The distributors clamored: ”President Liu, stop talking nonsense. Just tell us, will you accept the return or not?”

”If you won’t, then we’ll have to take legal action. When that time comes, you’ll have to compensate even more!”

Li Qingcheng stared angrily at the people kicking her when she was down, saying:

”We need time to liquidate our funds, give me three days to liquidate the assets!”

Seeing this, the distributors hesitated.

They felt that this time should be given.

However, just at that moment, Wang Yu said loudly:

”In three days, she might have disappeared. Then, who will you go to for a refund?”

At her words, the distributors began to clamor, ”Right, return it now!”

”Delays could lead to changes, we request President Liu to let us return the goods immediately!”

”Return our money!”

”If you don’t refund us today, we’ll block her in the company. We won’t let her leave!”

”...”

The group was making a ruckus.

Watching this scene, Wang Yu revealed a triumphant smile.

She taunted: ”Li Qingcheng, I told you, from now on, I will step on your head!!!”

But just then, a voice rang out:

”Wang Xiuxin, has your taste sunk that low? Not even a dancing girl would pick her, and yet you fancy her!”

Upon hearing these words, Wang Xiuxin turned an iron-blue face toward the source of the sound.

It was his nightmare, Lin Dong!
