Chapter 1063: Chapter 1062: Wang Xiuxin’s Calculations

After Lin Dong accepted the ancient prescription from the Gu Family, he spent the rest of the time drinking and chatting merrily with Gu Jiangming.

Meanwhile, at Li Qingcheng’s company.

Li Qingcheng was convening a meeting with the company’s high-ranking executives.

Assistant Wang Yu was reporting on the company’s situation.

”Since last month, after Dadong Pharmaceutical from the Paocai Nation’s Li Family entered our Dragon Country market, our market share has been cut in half.”

”Their competing product ’Dadong Youth Cream’ not only has the whitening and scar-removing effects of our Beautifying Powder, but it also has a more powerful function in delaying cellular aging than our Beautifying Powder!”

”Their pricing isn’t much more expensive than ours. Therefore, the market share they have taken is almost entirely shifted from our Beautifying Powder...”

”At present, many distributors have stockpiled goods in their hands that they can’t sell. There are quite a few who even propose to return their goods...”

Assistant Wang Yu detailed the crisis the company was facing at the moment.

After hearing this, the company executives all had solemn expressions on their faces.

This was the biggest crisis Li Qingcheng’s Beautifying Powder had encountered since it hit the market.

Although there had been people who imitated their Beautifying Powder before, trying to compete with them on price.

But in the end, those products were substandard and could not shake the dominance of the Beautifying Powder in the Dragon Country’s cosmetics industry.

But this time it was different. The ’Dadong Youth Cream’ from Paocai Nation’s Dadong Pharmaceutical not only had a price comparable to theirs but also boasted better effects.

Furthermore, they were backed by the Paocai Nation’s wealthy family, the Li Family.

In this battle, Qingcheng International was at a disadvantage in every aspect.

Everyone felt that Qingcheng International was in trouble this time.

The company executives were all common people. Naturally, they were unaware of the matters of the Martial Arts World.

These people did not know that behind Li Qingcheng, there was a ’Master Lin’ from the Martial Arts World.

If they had known that, perhaps they would not have thought so.

Li Qingcheng’s eyebrows were also tightly furrowed, as she tapped the table with her fingertip.

After scanning the room, she asked everyone:

”Everyone please share your suggestions, how do we get through this crisis?”

Someone suggested, ”How about reducing prices? Engage in a price war with the opponent?”

But this suggestion was immediately rejected.

A price war is based on the premise that the products are equivalent, and also backed by capital.

Qingcheng International currently had neither advantage.

How could they compete in a price war with Dadong Pharmaceutical, which was supported by the wealthy Li Family?

”Host promotional activities?” another person suggested.

This method was also more of a temporary fix than a solution to the root cause.

Assistant Wang Yu glanced at Li Qingcheng, hesitated for a moment, then finally said:

”President Liu, I think our most fundamental problem right now is that our product has been outperformed by Dadong Pharmaceutical’s!”

”I’ve heard that Dadong Pharmaceutical’s ’Dadong Youth Cream’ prescription actually comes from our Dragon Country. It was provided by Wang Xiuxin, Young Master Wang of the Wang’s Family Of Traditional Chinese Medicine.”

”I also know Young Master Wang. President Liu, how about I facilitate an introduction? We could also purchase the ancient prescription from him.”

”If we can also acquire that prescription, then we would be on an equal footing with Dadong Pharmaceutical at the starting line.”

Upon hearing this, the executives of Qingcheng International looked at Liu’s assistant with some surprise.

This assistant seems quite capable!

Everyone thought that this was a very good idea.

Now, Li Qingcheng could only do so.

”Okay. Then contact Young Master Wang Xiuxin for me, I’d like to talk with him,” Li Qingcheng said.

”President Liu, I can contact him right now. He is currently in Demon City!” Assistant Wang Yu laughingly said.

Hearing this, Li Qingcheng gave her a meaningful look and then nodded, ”Then contact him.”

”Right away.” Wang Yu immediately dialed Wang Xiuxin’s phone.

”Young Master Wang, I am Wang Yu, assistant to Li Qingcheng, President of Qingcheng International. Our Qingcheng International would like to discuss a cooperation with you...”

”Oh? You’ll arrive at our Qingcheng International in half an hour? That’s great, welcome!”

After hanging up the phone, Wang Yu laughingly said:

”President Liu, it’s settled. Young Master Wang said he will arrive at our Qingcheng International in half an hour.”

Li Qingcheng nodded her head.

After pondering for a moment, she suddenly laughed and said, ”Xiao Yu, when did you get to know Young Master Wang Xiuxin? I remember he’s from the Capital City.”

Wang Yu’s face showed an imperceptible change before she laughingly replied:

”President Liu, I previously represented the company at a public welfare activity in the Capital City. It was there that I met Young Master Wang.”

”Oh? Is that so... Seeing that you actually have his contact information, and you know quite a few things about him, even that the prescription for ’Dadong Youth Cream’ was provided by him; it seems you two are quite close?” Li Qingcheng asked with another smile.

Wang Yu pondered briefly before saying laughingly, ”President Liu, the most important thing right now is our company’s big event.”

”My private affairs, you really don’t need to be so well-informed, right?”

Li Qingcheng simply smiled without speaking.

Half an hour later.

Dressed in a tailor-made suit, Wang Xiuxin arrived fashionably late.

He came alone without bringing anyone else.

After entering the meeting room of Li Qingcheng, he smiled and said, ”President Liu, I’ve long admired your big name.”

”In just about a year or so, from a cosmetics enterprise in Jianghai worth a few billion, to now becoming the overlord of Dragon Country’s cosmetics industry. President Liu is truly a woman who stands equal with men!”

Li Qingcheng smiled and replied, ”You flatter me, Young Master Wang.”

”Let’s get straight to the point and talk business. I heard from my assistant that the prescription for ’Dadong Youth Cream’ from Dadong Pharmaceutical was supplied by you. Our Qingcheng International also wants to buy the usage rights for it in Dragon Country.”

”Name your price.”

Hearing this, Wang Xiuxin laughed and said, ”President Liu is a straightforward person, okay, I won’t beat around the bush. Just one figure!”

He then stretched out six fingers.

Li Qingcheng slightly furrowed her brows and asked, ”Six billion?”

”No, no, no...” Wang Xiuxin shook his head, ”Six billion, just to buy the usage rights for ’Dadong Youth Cream’ in Dragon Country? Aren’t you thinking too positively, President Liu?”

Upon hearing this, the executives of Qingcheng International all widened their eyes.

Six billion wasn’t enough?

Could it be that he was asking for six hundred billion?

Li Qingcheng couldn’t help but ask, ”Young Master Wang, are you asking for six hundred billion?”

That would be an astronomical price!

Yet even so, Wang Xiuxin still shook his head:

”Six hundred billion won’t do either! I want sixty percent of the controlling stake in your Qingcheng International! If you agree, I will sell you the usage rights for ’Dadong Youth Cream’ in Dragon Country!”

Gasps!!!

Upon hearing this, Li Qingcheng and the other Qingcheng International executives were all visibly stunned.

And Li Qingcheng, looking at Wang Xiuxin, finally understood the scheme he was playing.

He was trying to seize the controlling stake of Qingcheng International, to become its largest shareholder and gain complete control of Qingcheng International!
