Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 810: Chapter 810 He is Chief Lin

”Who could possibly have better Medical Arts than you? Could it be your master, Elder Wang? Is he in the Demon City now?”

Upon hearing Gu Lingjun’s words, Hua Rong grasped at them like a lifeline.

Gu Lingjun shook his head and said, ”It’s not my master; my master is in the Capital City. However, this person’s Medical Arts are not in the least bit inferior to my master’s.”

”What? Better Medical Arts than your master, Elder Wang? Who is this person?” Hua Rong was astounded.

Gu Lingjun said, ”Uncle Hua, I guess you haven’t paid attention to the major events in the Chinese Medicine World for a while.”

”Recently, the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine has produced an absolute genius. Last year, he took part in the Medical Competition between the Northern and Southern factions, and he beat my master.”

”Now, he’s the top person in Dragon Country’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Circle!”

”What?” Hearing this, Hua Rong was shocked. ”It seems I really have been out of touch with the big events in the Chinese Medicine World for too long. To think that the Southern Faction produced such a figure, and I had no idea.”

”Where is he now?”

”He’s in Demon City right now. I just saw him a couple of days ago,” Gu Lingjun hurriedly said.

”Ling Jun, then please quickly invite him over,” Hua Rong asked.

”Mm,” Gu Lingjun nodded.

Having previously added Lin Dong’s contact information, Gu Lingjun now took out his phone and dialed Lin Dong’s number.

Meanwhile, at the Grand Hotel in Demon City, Lin Dong was fretting over Liu Chuanqi’s severed arm when he unexpectedly received a call from Gu Lingjun.

After the call was connected, he asked in confusion,

”What’s wrong, Brother Gu? Do you need something from me?”

Gu Lingjun quickly said, ”Leader Lin, it’s an emergency. I have a friend who’s contracted a bizarre and severe sickness. Without treatment, I’m afraid she won’t make it through today.”

”So, I’m hoping to call on you for help. Can you come over and save her now?”

Lin Dong frowned. A sickness that even Gu Lingjun couldn’t cure must be challenging indeed.

He nodded and said, ”Okay, give me the address.”

Gu Lingjun gave Lin Dong the Hua family’s address.

After he had listened, Lin Dong was stunned for quite a while.

He had never expected the place where Gu Lingjun was inviting him to treat a patient would be the Hua family’s.

Without a doubt, the ’friend’ referred to by Gu Lingjun must be the cursed girl in the prime of youth – Hua Yu.

It seemed that the electrotherapy by Western medical experts was utterly useless.

And it likely had aggravated her illness, which was why Hua Rong had turned back to Traditional Chinese Medicine for help.

Lin Dong hadn’t anticipated the coincidence and, his face instantly showing joy, nodded and said,

”Okay, Brother Gu, I’ll be right there.”

After he hung up, he excitedly said to Liu Chuanqi, ”Uncle Liu, there’s hope for your arm.”

Liu Chuanqi was understandably confused.

Lin Dong, not having the time to explain further, needed to rush to the Hua family’s residence immediately.

After all, saving a life was like fighting a fire; there was no time to lose.

This time, he asked Ah Lang to stay at the hotel to protect Liu Qingcheng and her father.

He left the hotel alone, hailed a taxi, and sped off to the Hua family’s place.

At the Hua family’s mansion, Hua Yu’s condition had worsened slightly.

Foam mixed with a hint of pink spilled from her mouth as she continuously rolled her eyes and convulsed.

”This is bad; Xiao Yu’s condition has worsened again,” Hua Rong said in distress as he turned to Gu Lingjun, asking, ”Ling Jun, can the person you mentioned really cure Xiao Yu?”

Gu Lingjun replied, ”If he can’t cure her, then no one in this world can.”

”In my view, there’s no one in the entire Dragon Country with superior Medical Arts than him.”

As he spoke, he relayed to Hua Rong the details of how Lin Dong had triumphed over Elder Wang in the Medical Competition, as well as some of Lin Dong’s medical case histories.

After listening, Hua Rong couldn’t help but exclaim in awe,

”So Leader Lin from the Southern Faction is that formidable!”

At that moment, Hua Rong was filled with curiosity and anticipation for Leader Lin, whom Gu Lingjun had mentioned.

About twenty minutes later, Lin Dong arrived again at the door of the Hua Family Mansion.

The butler at the door was still the same one from before.

Seeing Lin Dong again, he couldn’t help but snort,

”Kid, why have you come back?”

”I’m here to cure the disease,” Lin Dong stated.

”Last time, because I let you in, Lady Hua docked a year’s worth of my salary. Now you’re here to cure again?”

”Leave quickly. If Lady Hua sees you again, she’ll dock my wages once more.”

Lin Dong frowned and said, ”This time, I was specially invited by your family head.”

”Go away, go away, all you do is talk nonsense,” the butler didn’t believe him at all.

Lin Dong was speechless, ”Your young mistress is in a critical condition right now, I don’t have time to waste with you. Any more delay, and she might well be cold and stiff.”

”Hurry and let me in.”

But the butler firmly refused entry, even warning,

”Kid, don’t talk nonsense here. How could our family head invite you to treat? You’re just a young scamp; how could you know how to cure diseases!”

Their altercation at the door also disturbed people inside.

Hua Rong and Lady Hua walked towards the entry, noticing the commotion stemmed from Lin Dong and their butler, their expressions turned iron blue.

Lady Hua was especially furious and berated loudly, ”You little twerp, I had you driven off last time and you dare to return?”

”Are you some kind of inescapable plaster? We can’t even drive you away?”

”Really think the Hua family is easy to deal with, huh? Someone, give this kid a thrashing and throw him out!!!”

With that command, a group of security guards emerged beside the butler.

Wielding electric batons, they were about to head towards Lin Dong.

However, at that moment, Gu Lingjun who had hurried out, quickly intervened,

”Stop, stop!”

”Uncle Hua, Lady Hua, this is Leader Lin!”

As soon as these words were uttered, both Hua Rong and Lady Hua were utterly shocked.
