Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 680: Chapter 680: If Hua Tuo were alive, it would be no different

Hearing that the county head had arrived, everyone was taken aback.

In Shi County, the weight of the title ”county head” was self-evident.

Da Fei’s brother-in-law knew the county head.

He hurriedly stepped forward to greet him.

”County Head, happy New Year. I am Li Weiguo from Huyang Town. Your timing is perfect; there’s a villain here. He broke my little uncle’s legs and also assaulted a public official.”

”Look at my face, how swollen it is? Like a pig’s head, all thanks to that villain’s beating.”

County Chief Hu gave him a faint look and asked, ”Where is that villain?”

Da Fei’s brother-in-law quickly pointed at Lin Dong.

”That kid there!”

Finished speaking, he looked at Lin Dong and exclaimed loudly, ”Kid, you’ve really gotten yourself into a big mess this time, even County Chief Hu is shaken up by it!”

However, as soon as these words were uttered, he saw County Chief Hu striding towards Lin Dong.

Then, he respectfully gave Lin Dong a bow and laughingly said, ”Doctor Lin Dong, I have at last found you.”

”Let me offer you an early New Year’s greeting!”

Whoosh!!!

This scene stunned everyone present.

”What’s the situation? County Chief Hu actually came all the way to find Lin Dong!”

”Just what is Lin Dong’s identity? He’s a billionaire throwing around hundreds of millions in cash at will. Now even the county head is paying him a New Year’s visit!”

”He really is the center of attention!”

”No wonder he dares to stand up to Da Fei!”

”...”

Da Fei and his brothers-in-law were all visibly shaken.

They had not expected that County Chief Hu was here to see Lin Dong, and with such respect, no less.

The first day of the Lunar New Year, coming to pay New Year’s greetings to Lin Dong!!

Lin Dong was also somewhat surprised.

Previously, he had met County Chief Hu due to a car accident on the highway.

At that time, they exchanged contact information, but he hadn’t expected the county head to come looking for him on the first day of the Lunar New Year.

Lin Dong felt certain that he must be in need of something.

”County Chief Hu, you wouldn’t come over without a good reason, would you?” Lin Dong asked with a smile.

County Chief Hu smiled slightly and nodded, ”I won’t hide it from you, Doctor Lin Dong, that I have indeed come seeking your aid in addition to offering you New Year’s greetings.”

”After witnessing your superb medical skills on the highway, I went back and looked into your identity. Only then did I learn that you are the leader of the Southern Faction of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Moreover, you won the Medical Competition against the number one in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wang Taisui.”

”My father at home has fallen seriously ill, so I have specifically brought him here to seek medical treatment. I hope Doctor Lin Dong, you can help treat my elderly father!”

After hearing what County Chief Hu had to say, everyone began to understand.

So, County Chief Hu had brought his elderly father to seek medical treatment.

He was asking for Lin Dong’s help!

No wonder he was so polite.

So respectful.

But since when had Lin Dong become a Divine Doctor?

Everyone’s gaze at Lin Dong was filled with curiosity and shock.

Lin Dong laughingly said, ”May I know where your father is right now, County Chief Hu?”

”He’s in the car. Should I bring him down?” asked County Chief Hu.

Lin Dong nodded, ”Yes, please.”

County Chief Hu delighted, hurried to the car and brought his father over.

He assisted his father to Lin Dong, asking with a nervous face, ”Divine Doctor Lin Dong, could you take a look, can my father’s disease be cured?”

”The hospital said my father has a brain tumor. There’s a tumor in his head that has blocked the blood vessels and is pressing on the brain nerves.”

”Moreover, it’s growing larger and larger, and in less than two months, it will grow large enough to be fatal. By then, not even Hua Tuo would be able to save him!”

”And because my father suffers from other old age diseases, he can’t have surgery—he has high blood pressure, diabetes, hyperlipidemia.”

”Can you cure him?”

Lin Dong nodded with a smile and said, ”It can be treated!”

Upon hearing this, County Chief Hu was overjoyed!

He quickly clasped his hands and said, ”Then I’ll trouble Divine Doctor Lin Dong to treat my father. As long as he is cured, I, Hu, will be eternally grateful.”

Lin Dong nodded and took out the Silver Needle.

Brain tumors combined with old age diseases are particularly fatal for the elderly, and Western medicine struggles to cure them.

Surgery, due to various factors, has a very small chance of success. The hospital wouldn’t perform it on them.

However, for Lin Dong, such a disease was but a minor issue.

He only had to use an ordinary acupuncture method from the Taiyi Yin-yang Divine Needle to cure it.

He took out six Silver Needles and inserted them into the acupoints of County Chief Hu’s father’s head.

Then he infused his Inner Qi.

The Inner Qi quickly engulfed the tumor in the brain.

Like slow-boiling a frog, it gradually melted it away!

Generally speaking, brain tumors, if they compress the blood vessels, can lead to oxygen deprivation in the brain, causing dizziness or even unconsciousness.

If they press on the nerves, it’s much more serious, leading to partial paralysis of the body, or even full paralysis.

At the moment, County Chief Hu’s father’s brain tumor was pressing against both blood vessels and nerves.

Therefore, he was in a semi-comatose state.

And also partially paralyzed.

However, after Lin Dong’s treatment, as the tumor slowly melted away, it no longer pressed against the blood vessels and nerves.

His symptoms also disappeared!

About fifteen minutes later.

Lin Dong had completely melted away the tumor in his brain.

And at this moment, County Chief Hu’s father awoke from his semi-comatose state and let out a contented sigh.

”Young man, you truly are a Divine Doctor! My head doesn’t feel muddled at all. I feel refreshed and lively!”

As he spoke, he even moved his left side, which had been paralyzed.

Before, his left hands and feet were paralyzed.

But now, he could actually move them!!

”My left hands and feet are better now!” he exclaimed in surprise, ”Even Hua Tuo in his time could do no better!!!”

County Chief Hu too was overwhelmed with emotion, and with a ’plop’, he knelt down before Lin Dong.

”Thank you, Divine Doctor, for saving my father. From now on, anything Doctor Lin Dong needs, just say the word. I, Hu, will spare no effort!”
