Chapter 652: Chapter 652: I Bet You Have No Bullets in Your Gun

Lin Dong responded indifferently, ”If I took out all my money, I’m afraid it could crush you to death.”

”Hahaha, Lin Dong, it’s been many years. Have you started to brag as well? How much money can crush me to death? At least it has to be over one billion!” Shou Hou said with a chuckle.

Lin Dong couldn’t be bothered to waste more words with him and cut to the chase, ”Did you stop a truck on the highway today?”

Upon hearing this, Shou Hou was visibly taken aback and blurted out, ”How did you know?”

However, no sooner had he spoken than he quickly corrected himself, ”What truck stopping on the highway? I know nothing about that.”

”Still trying to argue? I have already confirmed it was you!” Lin Dong said sternly.

Shou Hou sneered at Lin Dong, ”Alright, even if you know it was me, what can you do about it? Hand over your money honestly, or else I’ll kill you.”

At this moment, Shou Hou produced a spring knife in his hand and aimed it at Lin Dong.

”Why are you doing this? Do you realize that your actions have caused five sedans to rear-end each other, resulting in eight people dying on the spot and five severely injured!”

”Stop yapping; their deaths have nothing to do with you! Now, take care of yourself. Hand over your money right now.” Shou Hou’s knife was already about ten centimeters from Lin Dong’s body.

Lin Dong said icily, ”It originally had nothing to do with me, but I saw it happen, and I am furious. So, I want justice for them!”

”Hahaha... Justice, my ass. Who do you think you are, Jesus? The Virgin Mary?”

”You can’t even handle your own affairs, and yet you meddle in others’. You’re simply seeking death. I was only planning to rob you, but now I’ve changed my mind. I’ll cut out your tongue so you won’t be able to talk! That way, you won’t be able to tell the police about all this.”

As he said this, his spring knife slashed towards Lin Dong.

At the same moment, his other hand reached out to grab Lin Dong.

But just then, with a ’bang’, Lin Dong flicked his finger lightly against the spring knife, instantly breaking it.

And Shou Hou lunged into empty air.

Shou Hou was shocked, having not expected Lin Dong, whom he once could manipulate easily, to now possess such martial strength. With just a flick of his finger, he had broken the spring knife.

”Quite the increase in strength, but it’s useless. I have a gun!” he said as he pulled out a revolver from his pocket.

This was a weapon that had cost him quite a bit of money on the black market, containing only two bullets, which he would only use to save his own life.

Now, he took it out to intimidate Lin Dong.

With the gun in hand, his confidence surged. Holding the gun to Lin Dong’s head, he shouted loudly, ”Keep posturing, I’ll blow your brains out.”

However, to his surprise, even with a gun in his hand, Lin Dong still didn’t panic; he even reached out and seized the barrel, saying indifferently:

”Go ahead, shoot.”

”This...” Shou Hou was completely stunned, unable to believe that Lin Dong would still be so defiant while he had the gun.

”Lin Dong, you don’t think this is a fake gun, do you? Let me tell you, this is a real gun, and it’s loaded with bullets!”

”Is that so? I bet that your gun won’t fire a single bullet!” Lin Dong said calmly.

”You’re seeking death! I didn’t want to kill you at first, but you’re being too arrogant. Go to hell...” Shou Hou couldn’t hold back anymore and pulled the trigger.

’Bang!’ The gun went off.

But to Shou Hou’s surprise, just like Lin Dong had said, no bullet was fired.

Lin Dong’s hand, which was holding the gun barrel, was completely unharmed!

”How can this be? There were clearly two bullets in it!” Shou Hou quickly spun the revolver’s chamber, ’bang’, firing another shot.

Lin Dong was still unscathed.

Shou Hou, skeptically, fired several more shots in quick succession.

But the outcome was the same.

Lin Dong remained unharmed, as if his gun was truly unloaded.

”Impossible, there were two bullets in my gun. How did they disappear?”

He removed the revolver’s cylinder to find that the two bullets were gone.

Where did the bullets go?

”Looking for the bullets? They’re in my hand!” At that moment, Lin Dong spoke and opened his palm.

To Shou Hou’s astonishment, the two bullets from the revolver were actually in Lin Dong’s palm.

”This...” Shou Hou was completely dumbfounded, ”Lin Dong, did you catch my bullets with your palm???”

Lin Dong nodded nonchalantly, then gripped the bullets tightly and exerted a slight force.

When he opened his hand again, the bullets had been crushed into powder.

Shou Hou was thoroughly petrified.

”Now, tell me, why did you stop the truck on the highway? What was your purpose in doing this?” Lin Dong bellowed angrily.

Shaken, Shou Hou stammered, ”I...I just thought...it would be funny...”

”Funny?” Lin Dong was taken aback for a moment, then an intense killing intent burst forth from his body.

”So it turns out that the reason some people do evil is just this simple.”

He let out a bitter laugh and when he looked back at Shou Hou, it was like gazing at a dead man.

Shou Hou spoke up, ”Lin Dong, what do you want to do with me? Are you going to call the police and have me arrested?”

”Does this have anything to do with you? You’re not Jesus, nor the Virgin Mary, do you really need to meddle in this matter?”

”Call the police? You’re thinking too much; that would let you off too easy and wouldn’t be fair to the eight people you killed. What I want is your life!”

Having said this, Lin Dong moved toward Shou Hou with full intent to kill.

”You’re going to kill me? Lin Dong, do you dare kill me? If you kill me, you’ll end up in prison too... Ah...”

Lin Dong slammed his palm onto Shou Hou’s head, smashing it into a mushy pulp.

After killing him, Lin Dong took out Ash Bone Powder and turned him to ashes.

He left behind a single statement.

”I am not any Jesus or Virgin Mary, I am Yama! Jesus and the Virgin Mary might spare your life and send you to prison to repent. But I am Yama, and all I want is your life! As for your repentance, go to hell with it!”
