Apocalyptic Flood: Sexy Beauty Neighbor's Midnight Plea for Food

Chapter 1594: Chapter 926: Trends in the North and South

Time flies, and a month passes swiftly.

During this month, the plan to clear out the Japanese in the south was in full swing.

Constantly, various reports of victories came from that side, as the Japanese were chased relentlessly by teams led by Yangshan’s Ling Yurong and others.

The Japanese fled from Min Province back to Guangdong Province, and then to the once East Sea.

“Oh, these Japanese are so easily defeated?”

Listening to the intelligence Ding Yan provided, Liang Yuan was somewhat surprised at the dining table.

He thought the Japanese came with a fierce momentum, and should have some depth.

But how come, as we pushed forward, it seemed like there was no obstruction at all, and the Japanese were easily crushed.

Yang Mei and the others were also curious, and Song Wen couldn’t help but say, “If the Japanese are so easily defeated, why were the survivors from Min and Guangdong provinces so easily defeated back then?”

Ding Yan shook her head and said, “The survivors in Min Province and Guangdong Province also had experts, but their Rune Technology hadn’t developed timely.”

“So, facing the Japanese radiation bomb attacks, they really had no power to resist.”

“But Yangshan is different, our Sealing Array can suppress the power of the radiation bombs, plus we have many experts here, sweeping through the Japanese is also to be expected.”

“By the way, recently, eleven Floating Islands should be sent here from the other side to Yangshan Island.”

“Eleven?”

“Wow, so many?”

Yang Mei and Dong Yan couldn’t help but glance over.

Ding Yan laughed and said, “Originally, these were Floating Islands from Min Province and Guangdong Province, occupied by the Japanese. But this time, as we chased the Japanese away, they didn’t have time to take these Floating Islands.”

“Now they all belong to us, but it’s a pity about the Floating Islands.”

“The Japanese equipped the Floating Islands with jet bases, allowing quick flight, and they took those away.”

“Jet bases?” Song Wen wondered.

Liang Yuan recalled the ‘Volcano Island’ at the base of Kita Yabe, which was built into a jet apparatus with a huge base.

This can freely rotate direction, adjust the jet direction, thus changing the island’s traveling direction.

With the Heart Core and Brain Core’s assistance, it allows Floating Islands to flexibly navigate the sea.

Unexpectedly, the Japanese actually installed such devices on the Floating Islands.

Back then, when the research department saw this device, they were very interested.

Do you know, back when Zhang Yujiang invested heavily in creating the Cloud Mist Island Ark, he only took the resources from the Ark, without thinking of taking Cloud Mist Island.

For one, Cloud Mist Island’s speed was too slow, leaving would be too conspicuous.

And not expected that it was possible to install an accelerator on an island.

It can only be said that the Japanese have an unusually persistent pursuit of land.

For Liang Yuan, now his land resources are indeed large enough.

Yangshan’s power now has more than fifty Floating and Floating Islands combined.

However, the total population within Yangshan’s sphere of power is not much, at most no more than thirty thousand.

These thirty thousand are spread across fifty Floating and Floating Islands, can truly be described as sparsely populated.

Of course, many Floating and Floating Islands are not suitable for habitation.

For example, the Dark Abyss Mouth or Hell Island and the like.

Despite this, the population and land in Yangshan are still severely mismatched.

But, no one would complain about having more territory.

After all, if the population keeps growing, perhaps these islands’ land resources won’t be enough one day.

Thinking of this, Liang Yuan said, “Remind Tu Long and the others, if it can be intercepted, try to intercept it as much as possible, take all the Floating Islands back for me.”

“These Japanese should not hope to take any Floating Island away right under our noses.”

Ding Yan nodded, saying, “Don’t worry, even if we don’t say, they would do it.”

Yang Mei said, “Actually, we have quite a lot of land now, but the population is too little.”

Song Wen could not help asking, “Sister Mei, do you want to take Japanese prisoners?”

Yang Mei said, “We cannot want those Japanese military personnel, but ordinary Japanese women, I think perhaps we can consider taking them as captives slowly, integrating them with us, and increasing the population.”

“Women carry the grand task of humanity reproducing.”

Liang Yuan thought about this and started considering.

Indeed, the Japanese army, many superpower users are very radical, militarism has begun to prevail.

It’s just uncertain the current situation of Japanese women now.

Actually, under the great flood apocalypse, the ones who died the most were women, the elderly, children, these physically weaker groups.

Those who survived, most are men, and they are all young and strong.

So for each shelter, it was indeed a matter of more men than women.

This way, gender resources become particularly tense.

Combined with powerful superpower users, they may even have multiple opposite-sex partners.

This undoubtedly would cause uneven distribution of gender resources at the bottom.

Before, everyone was busy surviving, perhaps nobody paid attention to this.

But as Yangshan continues to develop, and the social environment stabilizes.

Naturally, people start considering their most fundamental instinct of reproduction when they have food and drink.

At this point, the unequal distribution of sexual resources will inevitably affect the social environment of Yangshan.

Yang Mei, as the head of the Comprehensive Department, is naturally well aware of the population situation in Yangshan, which is why she made this proposal.

Liang Yuan couldn’t help but ask, “Has the gender ratio in Yangshan already become imbalanced?”

Yang Mei glanced at Liang Yuan and said, “Did you guess?”

“With such a proposal, it’s hard not to guess.”

Yang Mei smiled and said, “Indeed, the imbalance is quite severe now. The male-to-female ratio has reached as high as 50:1, fifty men for every woman.”

“This ratio even includes many women who are already married.”

Upon hearing this, Liang Yuan’s brow furrowed.

It should be known that in most people’s minds, monogamy is still mainstream.

That is to say, married women should not appear in the gender pairing ratio.

But in the apocalypse, married men can still have other women.

Thus, the real gender pairing ratio is actually harsher than the population data indicate.

Liang Yuan pondered for a bit and said, “This is indeed a problem.”

“Alright, Ding Yan, pass on the message to Tu Long and the others, tell them to go easy on Japanese women and keep some captives.”

Ding Yan thought for a moment and nodded, “Okay, I’ll deal with this as soon as I’m finished with my meal.”

“By the way, there’s news from the north.”

“What news?”

“The Jingzhou Military is engaged in intense combat with the Divine Country of Yu Province. The Divine Country has suffered heavy losses in this conflict, and its leaders are migrating southward.”

“Kerry Technology has reported that the southward-moving troops of the Divine Country have already encountered them and engaged in small-scale skirmishes.”

Liang Yuan heard this and didn’t show much change in expression.

The news about the Divine Country moving south has been trickling in over the past month.

He asked, “So, is the fighting intense? Are the experts from this Divine Country very powerful?”

Ding Yan said, “James and the others can handle it, but according to the analysis from James, Molly, and the others, the defeat of the Divine Country this time probably means they are really relocating.”

“And once it’s confirmed they are migrating south to avoid the Jingzhou Military’s power, then Kerry Technology will definitely face challenges from the Divine Country. We might need to prepare early.”

Liang Yuan chuckled and said, “Tell James to hold the line and not retreat, I’ll be there in a couple of days.”

Upon hearing this, Ding Yan looked at Liang Yuan and couldn’t help but ask, “You’re going personally?”

Liang Yuan nodded, “To see what’s special about this so-called Divine Country.”

“And what strength the Jingzhou Military holds.”

“We’re tucked away in southern Yangshan, and northern forces probably haven’t paid much attention to us.”

“It’s about time we show ourselves so they settle down and stop forgetting us down here.”

Ding Yan nodded and laughed, “Alright.”

Yang Mei couldn’t help but say, “Be careful, little brother.”

Liang Yuan smiled and said, “Don’t worry.”

Seeing his confidence, the women around him slightly relaxed.

They all knew that Liang Yuan doesn’t engage in matters he’s not confident about.

“The gene recombination progress should stabilize at 98% soon.”

“A month has passed, and my Points have once again reached three million.”

“However, for now, I can’t use these Points; I need to save them for advancing to the Star God Realm.”

As Liang Yuan was thinking, Song Wen suddenly made a sound and covered her mouth.

Then she hurriedly put down her bowl and chopsticks and rushed to the bathroom, retching violently.

Liang Yuan was taken aback and quickly stood up to ask, “What’s going on?”

Yang Mei and Lin Ya also hurried over to check.

“Wenwen, are you okay?”

“No, I’m just suddenly feeling very nauseous.”

“Could it be cold?” Lin Ya couldn’t help but say.

Yang Mei’s expression suddenly changed with a hint of joy, and she said, “Not likely; Wenwen is a gene recombination expert now, how could she be cold? I think it might be a happy matter.”

Lin Ya was stunned: “A happy matter?”

Then she suddenly realized, “Are you saying… Wenwen is pregnant?”

At these words, everyone in the room was momentarily stunned!

“What? I’m pregnant?”

Song Wen’s eyes widened in disbelief!

Ding Yan also stopped in her tracks and looked at Song Wen’s flattened belly with a hint of surprise.

Dong Yan was the most excited. She ran to Song Wen, pressed against her belly, and shouted, “Let me listen, let me listen.”

Yang Mei quickly pulled her away and laughed, “Yanyan, don’t mess around. If she’s really pregnant, you can’t use Spiritual Power to sense the baby now; he might be very fragile.”

Dong Yan was startled and quickly stepped back, waving her hand, “Never mind, I really wanted to sense it.”

At this moment, Liang Yuan was also filled with joy. After all this time, since Yang Mei gave birth to Liang Hong, one of his women is finally pregnant again?

He immediately said, “Wenwen, stay home and don’t move around, I’ll get Dr. Yang and the others to check.”
