Apocalyptic Flood: Sexy Beauty Neighbor's Midnight Plea for Food

Chapter 1592: Chapter 924: Do Planets Have Consciousness?

Liang Yuan’s eyes shone as he listened to Yin Yu’s description, feeling a bit of anticipation.

So that’s how the Star Sky Giant Beasts are born.

Then he thought of a question: planets come in different sizes, does that mean star nuclei also vary in size?

After refining them, does the strength of the Heart Core also differ?

Liang Yuan voiced his question.

Yin Yu immediately smiled and said, “Mr. Liang is indeed clever. Yes, there’s naturally a distinction, and quite a big one at that.”

“Originally, these would be revealed in your gene inheritance information once you achieve Genetic Reorganization Perfection.”

“I’m just telling you in advance now.”

“Generally speaking, the larger the planet you absorb and refine, the stronger the energy of the star nuclei, and naturally, your future strength as a Star Sky Giant Beast and Star God will be stronger.”

“But there’s a premise here.”

Liang Yuan hurriedly asked, “What premise?”

Yin Yu smiled and said, “You need to subdue the will of the planet. To refine a star nucleus, you first need to erase the planet’s will.”

“And generally, the larger the planet, the stronger its will, making it naturally more difficult to refine.”

“This is why before we condense the Heart Core, we must condense the Brain Core.”

“Only with a strong enough Brain Core can we suppress the planet’s will, refine the star nucleus, and condense our Heart Core!”

Jin Peng, who was listening nearby, also nodded slightly and said, “I wanted to emphasize this as well: before condensing the Heart Core, one must first condense the Brain Core.”

“The stronger the Brain Core, the more powerful a planet you can refine, and the stronger a Heart Core you can condense.”

“So once you achieve Genetic Reorganization Perfection, the first thing you need to do is to condense the Brain Core as soon as possible.”

“The stronger your Brain Core is, the more you’ll be able to freely choose larger planets to refine in the future.”

Liang Yuan was once again astonished.

“Planets have wills?”

Jin Peng nodded and said, “Yes, according to your current terminology, it’s called planetary will. In our time, it was called Heavenly Dao.”

Yin Yu also said, “I recently saw a saying on my phone that was quite interesting. They refer to the planetary will as Gaia Consciousness.”

“Actually, whether in our era or this one, there have always been people who perceive that planets have their own will.”

“In our understanding, a planet is also a massive living being.”

“In the vast cosmos, with countless planets, they too go through a process from birth to extinction.”

“But for humans with short lives, this process is so vast and long that we almost can’t perceive it as being alive.”

Jin Peng smiled at Yin Yu and said, “Sometimes I even think, as we continue to evolve, condensing our Heart Core and Brain Core, becoming Star Sky Giant Beasts, aren’t we in a way becoming some form of celestial body?”

Yin Yu was taken aback, then laughed with a touch of emotion and said, “You have profound insights, my friend Jin Peng.”

Liang Yuan was also filled with emotions, interpreting the Star God Realm from this perspective for the first time.

It was also his first time hearing that planets have a will.

To refine a star nucleus, the first task is to overcome the planet’s will.

That means one needs to have a powerful Brain Core.

But how does one condense a Brain Core?

Liang Yuan looked at Jin Peng and Yin Yu and asked, “How can one cultivate to condense a Brain Core strong enough to rival a planet’s will?”

Both Jin Peng and Yin Yu shook their heads slightly.

Jin Peng said, “This is unique to each gene inheritance method. We haven’t encountered it, and only when you reach Genetic Reorganization Perfection might you find the answer.”

Yin Yu said, “Mr. Liang, when the boat reaches the bridge, it will naturally straighten. When you achieve Genetic Reorganization Perfection, everything will have an answer.”

Upon hearing this, Liang Yuan understood that neither of them had reached Genetic Reorganization Perfection in their lifetime, so they naturally didn’t know the details.

For now, he could only wait until he himself achieved Genetic Reorganization Perfection to unravel this mystery.

It seems that he will need to save up Points to possibly use them to enhance the cultivation of the Brain Core strength when breaking through to Genetic Reorganization Perfection.

He chatted with Jin Peng and Yin Yu for a while longer.

Suddenly, Liang Yuan thought of something and said, “By the way, since you say planets have consciousness, do you think the Blue Star we’re on now has consciousness?”

Upon hearing this, Jin Peng immediately smiled and said, “We’ve actually discussed this with Yin Yu and Palace Master Ling Yurong.”

“We all agree that the planet beneath our feet definitely has consciousness.”

Yin Yu added, “Not only does it have consciousness, but it has always existed, from ancient times to now.”

Liang Yuan asked, “How do you know?”

Yin Yu said, “We’ve deduced it. Take the current great flood, for example.”

“Continuous torrential rain has led to rising floodwaters and global disasters.”

“But there’s always a layer of barrier like black clouds covering the sky above. Haven’t you ever wondered where these barriers come from?”

Liang Yuan was puzzled: “During rainy weather, isn’t it normal to have clouds? If there weren’t any clouds, there wouldn’t even be rain.”

Jin Peng, however, laughed and said, “But without clouds, wouldn’t the river in the starry sky just pour its waters directly onto this planet?”

“At that time, the flood won’t just increase slowly like now, but will suddenly surge rapidly.”

“In this situation, life on this planet won’t be able to react in time unless it’s life forms in the ocean.”

Liang Yuan heard this and couldn’t help but think seriously.

“Are you saying this cloud is actually formed by the planet’s consciousness?”

“It’s protecting the life forms on the planet, so it has condensed clouds like barriers to encase the entire planet.”

Jin Peng said: “That’s what we think, otherwise there’s no way to explain where these clouds come from.”

Liang Yuan was skeptical, where did the clouds come from? Isn’t that just when the sun shines on the earth, the temperature rises, water vapor evaporates, and condenses in the air to form clouds?

Could this weather cycle system also be an expression of Blue Star’s consciousness?

Liang Yuan shook his head, finding it quite incredible.

But undeniably, Jin Peng and Yin Yu’s speculation has a point that must be believed.

If other planets have planet consciousness, how could Blue Star not have it?

Unfortunately, he couldn’t communicate with Blue Star’s consciousness; otherwise, he could learn about the situation in the cosmos from it.

Or not, who knows if Blue Star’s consciousness can communicate?

After chatting with the two for a while, Liang Yuan left Mist City and returned to Mirage Snake Space.

“Thinking so much is useless. It’s better to hurry up and wait until Genetic Reorganization Perfection is achieved.”

In the following time, Liang Yuan entered the stage of intense cultivation.

Besides dealing with some documents about the southern killing of Wokou every day, the north’s Sprout, and Kerry Technology also have many documents coming in, reporting recent events.

The intelligence from the north focuses on the battles between Divine Country and Jingzhou, and it seems that Divine Country can’t beat Jingzhou Military, now retreating step by step.

James and Wang Ling’Er are worried that if Divine Country can’t withstand Jingzhou Military, they might move their base south to avoid confrontation with Jingzhou.

But if that’s the case, Divine Country will inevitably invade the land initially belonging to Sprout and Kerry Technology.

Liang Yuan, having read these files, wasn’t overly worried.

Beside him, Ding Yan asked: “Aren’t you concerned about Divine Country moving south?”

Liang Yuan shook his head, smiled, and said: “In this situation, there’s no such thing as territory or regional division.”

“Everyone lives on Floating Islands and Drift Islands, which can move.”

“Even if Divine Country moves south, at most, it will occupy the sea; how could Floating Islands and Drift Islands be seized by them?”

“Notify Wang Yu’Er and James to move their Drift Islands and Floating Islands closer to our Yangshan Island.”

“But didn’t you say we would move to the high-altitude northwest this year?” Ding Yan asked.

Liang Yuan, hearing this, thought for a moment and said: “That’s right, then let them hold their positions for now, and let’s hasten the pace from Yangshan, heading northwest.”

Ding Yan nodded slightly, looked at Liang Yuan, and asked: “Why does it feel like you’ve been less interested in these matters lately?”

Liang Yuan sighed and said: “Indeed, not as interested.”

“We’ve been fighting here, always on this planet.”

“Fighting over something, what can we possibly achieve?”

“Even if all the Floating Islands and Drift Islands on the planet belong to you, what then?”

“With relentless rain, the flood won’t stop rising, and Blue Star is doomed to be completely submerged eventually.”

Ding Yan frowned, asking: “Why are you so negative? Even if the flood submerges Mount Everest, as long as we have enough Drift Islands and Floating Islands, we won’t drown.”

“Doesn’t this demonstrate the importance of Floating Islands and Drift Islands?”

Liang Yuan shook his head slightly, sighed, and said: “You’re only seeing the threat of the flood on Blue Star, but not the threat outside this planet.”

“Hmm? Outside the planet?” Ding Yan was slightly startled, somewhat surprised.

Evidently, she hadn’t considered things outside the planet.

Liang Yuan said: “My goal has never been on Blue Star; I want to know what’s the deal with the endless river hanging in the starry sky.”

“Did you forget, above gene recombination, there’s the Star God who can traverse the cosmos.”

“If one day a Star Sky Giant Beast arrives in the Milky Way, it can easily devour a planet with a mere open of its mouth.”

“Do you think there’s any point in our struggle over these Drift Islands and Floating Islands here?”

Upon hearing this, Ding Yan was immediately stunned.

She looked at Liang Yuan in surprise, evidently not expecting Liang Yuan to think so far ahead.

She instinctively said: “Could this really happen?”

Then she added: “It probably won’t happen for a while, right?”

Liang Yuan shook his head and said: “Don’t have such wishful thinking.”

“That endless river outside Blue Star has been hanging there for two years now.”

“In two years, there’s no telling if some cosmic behemoth has already appeared by that river.”

“If they cause a mere disturbance by the river, what kind of disaster would it be for us, even if they accidentally brushed against our planet?”

Ding Yan looked at Liang Yuan, speechless for a moment.
